Sirjamo: It's Ironic that the Igbos are hailing Danjuma who masterminded the execution of Ironsi and was minister of defence when Obasanjo ordered the genocide in Odi. As for this junky spewing thrash, it's just ten months to the total annihilation of him and all his useless grandfathers who put us where we are today. Igbos are not hailing Danjuma, what he said is not knew to any Igbo person. He said it for his people and the middle belt. It has not got much to do with Igbos, face your front and dont look back |

Recently the Nigeria Army traced a former Biafra auto engineer, paid him some huge sum that the man has never had in his life to revive a tank that they could not start for years in Abuja.
The man went to work wit 3 Army technicians, he was able to reengineer the electrical systems of this Soviet tank and vola it worked. We celebrated and I realised what tribalism had done to Nigeria and how unfair the country has treated the Igbos and their equally technologically gifted brothers the Efiks and Ibibios of the defunct eastern region.
The Army General who was in charge of Army engineering corp told us that a retired soldier told him to go and search for that man using his name and his village. He was able to get in touch with somebody who knew him in Abuja that the man was still living and they traced him to a small workshop where he does auto repairs in Nasarawa State.
We failed to support every region in their areas of strength, give the hardware to the Igbos (the can handcraft and manufacture anything) as long you put money on the table and the software part of the equipment can be done by the Yorubas who are gifted in computing and algorithm combined with modern agriculture in the north and who says Nigeria cannot be great. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Shocking Photos Of North Korea That Kim JongUn wouldn't want the world to see by Dpharisee: 12:15pm On Mar 13, 2018 |
Cromcruach91: Good question
1.The DPRK wants to reunify with the ROK...by force of arms. To them, it is basically 'liberating the ROK from American imperialisim'. The ROK on the other hand...don't want to be ruled by the DPRK...whose leadership remids them of some of their worst dictators (eg Park Chung hee...and Chu Doo Hwan -latter responsible for the massacare of several dozens of students in 1979).
2.The cost of reunificaiton is high..and the ROK knows that they will be paying for it...however unification comes...so they don't really (despite what some of their leaders say) want to be unifed with the DPRK (Many West Germans complain about how they had to pay for German reunification even now).
3.US troops are there to protect US interests...and also to prevent South Korea...and ....pay attention...Japan from developing huge military industrial power-bases that might raise tensions in the area.(US has a base in Okinawa,Japan...and has operational command over SK troops).
4.And even if the US was not there...SK has a good sized military weapons industry....and their defense budget alone is four times that of the DPRK's entire budget. If war should break out...ROK will beat DPRK by a wide margin(though Seoul will be decimated by a huge artillery blast).
5.According to a leaked diplomatic document.from 2008 via Wikileaks...a Chinese diplomat told his US opposite number that if US troops are removed from the Korean Peninsula...they the Chinese will in turn oust the Kims and guarantee a unified Korea under South Korean rule.(tho that is at variance with official Chinese policy).
6.DPRK can be as strong as ROK...if they do what the Chinese did and liberalised their economy. Its people like you that thinks that Afghanistan was defeated by RAMBO after watching Hollywood movies thinking you know international financial system |

Cromcruach91: Ordinary Nigerian that reads too much for his own good. NO. You are a Nigerian who reads too much western propaganda from CNN and thinks he knows about international politics and diplomacy. North Korea almost failed because of years of sanctions but it seems the table is now turning against the US as no one takes their words so serious anymore including their media which their president Trump refers to as 'Fake News'. Go and read about what transpired during the winter Olympics opening ceromony in Pyeongchang where US tried to isolate the North Korean delegation but the US Vice President ended up embarrassing his host by not standing up for the countrys anthem and to greet its unified team. During the closing ceremony US decided to send Trumps daughter Ivanka to do damage control as the South Koreans were already pissed off and are opening up more to the DPRK. Left in the lurch Trump has no choice but to agree to a meeting with DPRK leaders in May. Now the western media which is angry over this recent overtures decided to go on a campaign of demonization ala Libya, Iraq, Syria etc with few pictures that DPRK dont want 'you' to see and people like you fell for it woefully. Nonsense! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Shocking Photos Of North Korea That Kim JongUn wouldn't want the world to see by Dpharisee: 12:00pm On Mar 13, 2018 |
Cromcruach91: DPRK agriculture get problems...and lots of it.
1.All farming is owned by the State...so farmers cannot sell their products for a profit....which reduces incentive to produce (To put it simply...if you were a farmer..and the Nigerian govt took away 90% of your harvest...and left you with ten percent...you won't feel like producing much next year).
2.Rice is the main crop, not corn.
3.In fairness to NK....the land is mostly mountainous, and rugged. There isn't enough good farmland. But one can say the same of Japan...yet Japan is self sufficient in food production, because farmers are allowed to make a profit...
4.The leaders loot. And build nice palaces all over the place....and send their kids abroad....
5.Back when there was a Communist world...NK got lots of materials and machinery from fellow communist states to build fertilizer plants...which they used to fertilize their crops. When communism fell in most parts of the world...all the countries wanted cash upfront before they could sell machinery to NK..which NK did not have because state run economies don't make money at all.
6.Then don't get started about bad farming practices like terracing...which worsened an already bad situation.(but they kept on doing it...because the Dear leader had instructed them to do it.).
By 1998...NK was dependent on food aid from many countries...the US inclusive.
And yes...they have ballistic missiles...because of the 'military first ' policy of their govt, first enunciated by the Dear leader Kim Jong Il in 1994/5. In practice...all available funds are diverted to military based industries.
(Most o the DPRK's military manufacturing capability was built partly by outsiders...its nuclear plant was built by the USSR for example) Have you read about North Korea from other non biased media or you simply got all your information from western media? |

When I saw the source as Business Insider, The New York Times, GETTY, BBC, Reuters, Quartz, Washington Post and The White House, I knew this will be total bull poopoo. If North Korea can develop ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons, how then is it rocket science for them to plant corn to feed their people. We have seen worse situations and homeless people in America |
