drsteroid: tearing and itching are mainly caused by allergens,so drugs like mast cell stabilizers and antihistamnies will really take care of that..however,there may be other causes like refractive error,a proper case history is really needed in other to make a good diagnosis,so you can tell me more about what you think causes it,when you usually experience and other problems,if any that comes with it. Well, when i did my medicals during my PhD studentship registration in UI; Eye test result was d only palavar, was only able to identify correctly 3 out 10 wickedly inverted alphabets. Lol. The young Doc. told me I needed more tests and probably correctional wetin call, I no dig d idea of wearing cocoa cola bottles for my eyes. Each time I strain to read something from far, d eyes tear. Itching occurs when I enter some cities especially Lagos right from toll gate. A beg effective eye drops or tabs to manage conditions. Have been using anti bacterial drops and d rests. Thank You.
