Horus:financial cost? You must be joking right? The US budget money for war/defense every year. The money is just lying there untouched. That’s why Trump threatened to appropriate the money and channel it into building the wall is the congress does not approve the wall spending. He was trying to use a loophole that building the war is part of defense. So money is always on ground to prosecute any war any day |
Guyman02:america has achieved her goal in those countries. Regime change. That’s what they call it. Today Afghanistan and Iraq are US ally unlike before the invasion. That’s what matters to the US. The US control their governments indirectly |

pacespot:Your initial post that I responded to was full of flaws and personal sentiments with your opinions. Not fact. Same thing with this one. Mentioning Japan the US best friend in Asia and other Anglo countries in Asia like New Zealand and Australia is laughable. All the countries you mentioned in Asia are US allies. Most south East Asia countries look up to the US for protection against China. Of course they won’t go to war with China because they don’t have the resources and the military might to. They don’t want any conflict with China. They don’t like China either. In fact, they love their neutrality between the two countries . If communist China falls. The whole of democratic south East Asia will jubilate and embrace a New Democratic China. The democratic Hong Kong has been protesting against communist China since last week even when they are Chinese territory with self government. Why? Simply because people of Hong Kong in China hate China communist policies. That should tell you about how other democratic Asia countries feel about China. |
pacespot:Taiwan is not a subsidiary of China. China sees Taiwan as part of her territory. But Taiwan sees otherwise. Taiwan is a nation of its own. China only trying annexation of Taiwan. Taiwan hates China the same way Hong Kong hates China even though Hong Kong has been annexed by China: US has diplomatic relations with Taiwan the same way it does with china. Taiwan is a US ally. They have their own government independent of China. All those countries you mentioned are US allies . They all see China as a bully too in south East Asian |

Huawei will definitely lose a chunk of its phone market. Not a lot of people would give up all the memories they have built over the years on Facebook in order to use a no-Facebook Huawei phone. Other Chinese and non Chinese phone makers that are not part of Huawei will simply add that to their own market share. |
A top Huawei executive said Tuesday that the company is willing to sign a "no-spy agreement" with the United States to reassure U.S. leaders who say the company's technology could be used for surveillance. The offer is similar to proposals the Chinese tech giant has made to the United Kingdom and Germany, and it comes after weeks of intense pressure from the Trump administration. "We are willing to sign no-spy agreements with countries," said Huawei Chairman Liang Hua at the company's headquarters in Shenzhen, China, when asked specifically if Huawei would sign a "no-spy" agreement with the U.S. "But since the U.S. has not bought from us, is not buying from us, and might not buy from us in the future, I don't know if there is such an opportunity to sign such an agreement." Liang made the comments while speaking with a small group of U.S. journalists who were visiting with the China-United States Exchange Foundation. While it would be the first such public offer of an agreement to the United States, Liang stressed the conditions might not exist for such a deal. Liang accused the U.S. of inappropriate conduct, while at the same time struck a conciliatory tone — a response reflecting the level of exasperation currently felt by the Chinese tech giant. "It is inappropriate to use political means to disrupt an industry," he said. Huawei is one of China's most successful tech companies and has a global footprint. It's one of the world's largest smartphone makers, behind Samsung but ahead Apple for early 2019. It's also one of the leading telecom providers of mobile wireless 5G networks, the infrastructure necessary for a future of driverless cars, smart cities with smart traffic lights, and smart factories. But the company is facing a growing backlash from Western countries because of concerns over the security of its products. U.S. leaders have said Huawei's networks and phones could be used by the Chinese government and leave users vulnerable to privacy breaches This culminated last month with the U.S. Commerce Department adding Huawei to its "Entity List," which bars American businesses from selling technology to Huawei without government approval. The Trump administration has delayed the ban from taking full effect until later this summer. The United States is also pressuring other countries to ban Huawei on security concerns. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned Switzerland and the Netherlands on Monday about working with Chinese technology. And President Trump was expected to discuss Huawei during his visit with Prime Minister Theresa May on Tuesday. In the meantime, Huawei has resorted to a blitz of media interviews to share the company's view that it's being unfairly used as a pawn in the high-stakes U.S.-China trade talks. Huawei is also aggressively fighting the United States. Last week, the company filed a legal motion in a U.S. court to declare the Trump administration's efforts to ban its equipment as unconstitutional. https://www.npr.org/2019/06/04/729539997/huawei-chairman-willing-to-sign-a-no-spy-deal-with-the-united-states https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/huawei-chairman-says-company-would-sign-no-spy-deal-with-us/ |
America should believe Huawei at its own peril. Huawei is a tool in the hands of China. Just imagine US and China at military war. Is Huawei going to be neutral or be used by China to ease drop on US intelligence? |
Rossikk:Understand that if America goes to war against Iran, no single shot would be fired on American soil. No single American civilian would be affected. No facilities in the US would be bombed. So think about it. You made mouth pass this one when America invade Afghanistan without being provoked just for harboring bin laden. Your entire Middle East went up in uproar burning American flags. Of course that’s the best they can do. Russia stood on the sidelines watching America pounding their ally Afghanistan. Nothing happened. As if that was not enough. America pounded Iraq without being provoked under the nose of all your Middle East you are bragging about. Nothing happened. Even Iran could not come to the aide of her allies being pounded by Americans. Remember Afghanistan and Iraq were allies to Russia. Russia did not raise a finger despite the fact that Afghanistan and Iraq got their weapon supply from Russia. Libya experienced the same fate. Arab world were helpless. Despite all these, American economy keeps on growing. Nothing happened to American economy. But we know what happened to the economy of all the countries America pounded. Of course, oil prices went up during the American invasion. You think America was the one that suffered it. Of course not. The story of Iran would not be different provoked or unprovoked. Your comment about how Russia and the Middle East would attack America if Iran was invaded and your claim about how American economy would be affected made me wonder how old you were when America invaded the middle earth. On no occasion can Russia get into direct confrontation with the US. They will always keep avoiding each other. The best Russia would do is supplying Iran with weapons. |
anonymous1759:For the global peace part. America is the reason why we have the little global peace as we have it today. Yes it’s little. They are the reason why Islamic terrorists and jihadists have not destroyed you and the world at large. Even if you are a Muslim. You need to praise America for the little peace you enjoy. Why? Okay right now as I speak. Chinese government is after its own Muslim citizens. Muslims are being rounded up and put in what I would call “concentration camps” in China. These are Chinese citizens o. If China became most powerful country in the world (of course they will never). Imagine what Muslims would face in the hands of China. American war in the Middle East would be child play compare to how China would handle the Middle East and all Muslims there. Muslims in America enjoy the kind of freedom that they never received in their original Muslim countries where they are from. |
GeneralPula:Understand this. Baptism (Baptist), Methodism (Baptist) and Evangelism (Evangelical or Gospel) are all subgroups of Protestantism . By broad definition, all of them are Christianity. An American that says he is a Christian, ask him which Christian denomination. He will tell you he is one of the above man! Okay? Most Nigerian Christians don’t understand this classification. Most Nigerian Christians don’t understand this classification. If you are from Redeem or Mountain of fire. You are a Protestant by American definition. We are all “protesting” quote and unquote against catholism. |
GeneralPula:Dude. What are you talking about? It seems you don’t have understanding of what you are saying. Going by the data picture you present. Christianity takes more than 70%. Are Protestants and Catholics not Christians by religion? By American definition, if you are not a catholic. Then you are a Protestant. Evangelicals ( which you call gospel church in Nigeria) are parts of the Protestantism. Understanding this classification is the problem you got. Even the 18% that claim to have no religion still have their sentiments in favor of Christians than other religion on issues that do not affect their own way of life. This is because most of them were once Christians. They still have parents, brothers, sisters and relations that are Christians. That’s why someone would say he’s atheist and on Christmas Day celebrations you will see him. On Thanksgiving Day celebration, you will see him eating Thanksgiving turkey. But deceiving himself saying he’s an atheist but a Christian in his subconsciousness. |
GeneralPula:whats your definition of Christ religion first? Christianity as a religion is one. |
GeneralPula:Thats the best you can do. America is not a Christian country constitutional. I agree. But in the mind of most Americans, it’s otherwise. That’s what I see here. You cannot be a President in America if the evangelicals are against you. |
GeneralPula:You are the number one gullible person. America may be a free country in terms of religion. However, Christianity is still the number one religion practised here in America. Yesterday was national Memorial Day. It was the leader of Billy Graham Christian organization that led the people in opening prayer in Christian way before the national anthem during one of the National event on national tv commemorating Memorial Day yesterday. No rabbi or Imam was allowed to do the same thing. America is a Christian country politically controlled by the evangelical. Though every citizen is free to do what they like. I’m giving you first hand experience: It may not be described as a Christian country under the constitution. But absolute majority of Americans identify as Christian officially. That doesn’t mean that all of them go to church anyway. But they identify as something |
marvin906:So if you were a businessman, would you comply to a stupid policy that would take all your business secrets and blueprints away and get your business compromised. That’s the kind of policy China is pushing for against Facebook, google and the likes |
bettercreature:Most Chinese live in villages and remote mountainous countryside starving with no good road and running water. It’s a fact. |
ntyce:Facebook, google, Instagram and WhatsApp are all banned in China since a long time ago . China started it |
GrowYourSales:Do you even read your Bible at all when Peter asked all the church to sell everything they had and bring the money 100% to church? |
