Why does the Bible specifically talk about tithing agricultural produce and not money like coins, silver and gold?

Do you want to tell me that everyone was a farmer and there were no people in the Bible earning their living through rendering of services in exchange for money: coins, gold and silver ? Or even some of those farmers were not rendering services in exchange for silver and gold whenever the opportunity did rise? What happened to the silver and gold and money? The Israelites that made their living through making of water vessels, sandals, clothing materials, building tents, boats, physicians, etc. All these people existed rendering services for money when God asked Jews to bring tithe of produce alone and not from money. Technically, the Israelites rendering services for money and that did not cultivate the land were exempted.

I would like you to come and lie to me that there were no people in the Old Testament exchanging services for silver and gold.

All the verses you quoted about people not giving their tithe to the poor were not addressing tithe in the first place. That’s a twisting of the Bible to support your point. Tithing is one of the many Old Testament commandments. I’m surprised how other commandments are totally forgotten while we pick out only tithing to enforce because of the love of money.

I advocate giving to the church. You can never over give. Jesus asks us to give to the church but not in the name of tithe.

TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) - A Towson University student is accused of raping another student. Baltimore County Police say it happened on campus in the suspect’s dorm room.


Investigators say the suspect is 20-year-old Onyekachukwu “Onyek” Igwilo. He was in jail Monday 23/09/2019 held without bail pending a bail review hearing Tuesday.


Police say Igwilo invited the victim to his room at Marshall Hall to watch a movie Sunday afternoon when soon, his unwanted advances toward the woman escalated.

“He continued until the point he held her down and then raped her. After that, he refused to let her leave initially, but then eventually did let her leave,“ said Ofc. Jennifer Peach, a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Police Department.

The woman called campus police, who alerted county police. Officers say they found the woman with a large bruise around her throat. They immediately arrested Igwilo.

Students who’ve heard the news are stunned by the allegations.

“You know, I always heard crazy stories that happened at every campus, typical stories, but this is the first I’ve heard about a rape,“ said Sami Sultana, a student who lives off campus.

According to the Rape Abuse and Incest National Network, rape on college campuses is not unusual. The group says more than 50% of college sexual assaults take place between August and November. The organization also says women ages 18 to 24 are three times more likely than women in general to experience sexual violence.

Back on campus at Towson, the allegations against Igwilo.

“That’s the lowest of the low. I don’t affiliate myself with any guy who thinks that it’s OK to advance beyond the point where a woman says no. Any dude who thinks that’s OK needs to really reevaluate themselves,“ said Tristian Whipple, while holding his girlfriend’s hand.

Police say the suspect and the victim met this summer through a group chat for new students. They began to hang out when school started and over the weekend, police say things turned violent.

Russia would only become a toothless dog. What technology advancement has Russia innovated that US has never innovated before it? Nothing. There’s no new technology invented by Russia. They are only in a race trying to keep up with the US. In what area in the world is Russia leading the world? Nothing. Russia does not even have economic power over any nation unless they want their economy that is solely dependent on oil like Nigeria to crumble. If Russia is spending in terms of aides to countries around the world the amount of money US is spending, Russia will go broke. Russia has been eating US sanction since time immemorial. A software engineer for a locomotive manufacturer in a Chicago suburb was charged with stealing trade secrets and sharing them with a company in China where he now works, according to U.S. prosecutors.

Xudong “William” Yao, 57, was accused in an indictment of nine counts of trade secrets theft and is believed to be living in China, prosecutors said in a statement Thursday. Yao, who was born in China but was a naturalized U.S. citizen, allegedly stole copies of more than 3,000 electronic files that contained proprietary technical information and software source code, according to the statement. The Chicago-area company wasn’t identified.

The theft began just two weeks after Yao began working for the U.S. company in 2014 and lasted for about six months until February 2015, according to the indictment. During that period, Yao allegedly sought and later secured a job with a Chinese company that provides automotive GPS-locating systems. The Chinese company also wasn’t identified.

Yao was fired from the Chicago-area company for unrelated reasons a few months before he left for China. He allegedly took nine copies of the stolen source code and information about how the code worked, according to the indictment. Yao was charged in December 2017, but the indictment remained sealed until Wednesday, according to prosecutors

Way of life are meant for change. Unwholesome tradition and archaic way of life are not meant to be forever. What are you going to tell your children’s children after all the wildlife become extinct and there’s no more animals in the land. About hunting in America. You don’t just pick your gun and go hunting like that the way you are painting it or else you will find yourself behind bars. What they do is controlled hunting with license to do so. Places to hunt at are usually marked out. Also, not all animals are meant to be hunted, especially the endangered wildlife. Killing anyone of them will land you in jail. Besides, Americans don’t really hunt for food because meat cost a couple of dollars at the store. Cheap.
