I completed 2 months in Australia on February 9th 2024.

I got an accounting role through my partners contact. The conditions were spelt out to me but I rejected it.

Within 2 week I got my forklift licence because I did forklift training in Nigeria before coming to Aussie.

Here we are paid every week. Or do you want to see my 6 weeks payslips?

I made a lifelong decision to quit Nigeria and I succeeded irrespective of age.

The reason why I brought this story here is because a lot of people told me to document my experience and share on Nairaland.

Alot of people center their argument on N1m salary per month. The truth is that even if my salary in Nigeria was 2million per month, I would still have moved.

It is my decision and so far, it is the best thing that ever happened to me and will continue to be.

- This is earning season whereby Listed Companies will be declaring Dividends for 2023 Financial Year End (FYE).......some already announced....

- If you're a newbie who's interested in collecting dividends or you're a long termer, pls note that:

* You have to buy the particular stock on/before the QUALIFICATION DATE
* Dividends will be paid electronically to your provided bank account on PAYMENT DATE
* IF you're yet to register with the REGISTRAR of the said Company, you need to download the REGISTRAR's E-DIVIDEND MANDATE FORM, fill it and.submit back to the Registrar for processing/approval
* Remember to follow up with the Registrar and provide them with necessary documents as may be required
* After Qualification Date or CLOSURE OF REGISTER, you can sell the stock if you so wish, you'll still be paid your due dividend

Govt is now paying billions of dollars to defend the naira, that is what is keeping naira at this rate. It has nothing to do with binance. Naira is being defended with huge cash, same way subsidy was reintroduced at a higher rate. If not for the pegging, Naira would have attained 3k by now.
