Good day and happy sunday everyone

I work in a lounge in sabo and i'm paid 11000 a month.I have served my boss faithfully and dilligently for months during the course of my stay in this shop despite being owed salary.Even when other workers left citing underpayment and workload,i still stayed.
It happened that during governorship election season,our lounge was robbed.The robbers made away with 194,000 new naira notes my boss kept in his office. what was more shocking that the robbery was a clean one meaning the robbers had access to the key to his office.It's only me and my boss that have the keys so I was questioned and interrogated.I didn't know anything about it and so I said.I was beaten and bruised.
Nobody believe me say i dey innocent

Police came and i was detained.i was in cell for 13 days(i hear am for cell God)before being released last week.I was rold the culprit has been found.It was my boss mistress and brother that planned it.How they knew about the money is what i don't know.
My boss messaged me to return but i don't want to.I want to know if i'm making the right decision.Thanks.

For me: my negative impression was the unnecessary fear for Nigerians.....this made me appreciate Nigerians for their welcoming attitude towards foreigners irrespective of nationality.


While my positive impression was the general contentment and ease with which life is approached.....this made me criticise our mindset of 'get everything by all means necessary " in Nigeria.

Why wouldn't you ask? If you didn't turn up for work, won't they call you to ask why? If they take your asking as disrespectful then find another job. Teachers are hardly treated well in this country

I'm a smoker and I can tell you I use an average of 70 lighters a month. Of those 70, I probably buy 10. For every 20 lighters I use, I will only completely finish 1. And that one probably came into my possession at half or quarter gas. Na where people no dey think money dey ..the remaining 60, either people forget it with me or I intentionally steal it lol. Smokers can relate my guy.
Sometimes I have 5 lighters at any given time, sometimes I have zero. Just ask any smoker.

Just do small market survey. Go to any Aboki or supermarket and ask them how many lighters they sell a day. You'd be madly surprised

Buy smoking accessories. You can team up with someone who ships from China regularly. If you invest 5 million on lighters (not all those fancy ones on Instagram o! Regular lighters that even poor people can afford), you'd be surprised at how much profit you'd make. Lighters are amongst the most stolen/misplaced objects on the planet. He literally gave a lengthy talk on the floor of the national assembly about why gay people should be killed. His colleagues, fellow legislators, who are extreme in their own way were shocked at the level of Datti's extremism.

With Datti's antecedent, no developed nation of the world would trust him in public office.

When I reflect during leisure hours sometimes, I wonder why "progressive generation Z" in Nigeria let the anti human rights proposals Datti made in the past to slide.
