Palliatives are great no doubt but they aren't permanent fixes to the growing poverty indexes and for how long can you sustain this programme?

Empower these prone individuals through provision of employment or creation of suitable environs for SME's to flourish...

Good you have started..

Now reduce the Talk, talk, talk...

You want to extend this innovation to the whole 36 states? Good!

But its well apparent the public doesn't have trust in the FG so why dont you just keep doing what you do and stop talking up big things.. This is 2021 by 2023 you will be out, will you have this project in all 36 states by then?

This is one of the reasons we dont trust the FG.. Well my fingers are crossed.. Hopefully it will happen...

cheesy

Lol if you ask me, I think the money has already been budgeted tey tey for the Festival but the money has yet to enter the state coffers fully because them don chop am well well at the FG level.. So inorder to save face, they insist on the continual of this sham of an event.. That i dont even know apart from the sports athletes and their families, and few sponsors whos watching it??

If not that i saw last week them say not enough money to finance the event.. I didn't even know a whole Nigerian Sports Festival is about to commence..

Anyways lol so the choppers at the federal level (ministry of sports and youth DUH!) have to now draw up another BS request to the FG saying the one wey una designate no go fit fund the festival well well due to corona virus, increase in global fuel price, EndSars, Megan Markle and Oprah controversy, Mancity topping the league from nowhere.. among other dumb ass discrepancies you yourself can think of..

Lol but thats only if you ask me grin

The Rio Valley area includes Brownsville, South Padre, Refugio, El paso, Corpus Christi and so on..

These places are predominantly Mexican / Mexican Americans ..which isnt surprising considering its very close to the Mexican border (+ Southern Texas was Originally a Mexican land)..

The cities in mention are like akin to say Ijebu-Ode or Agbor in Nigeria..

Despite that, the rate of development has been increasing in the past decade in the Valley and with this StarBase setup, the population heterogeneity will increase..

If you're interested in moving there just prepare your mind you wont see a lot of black people but still thats not enough reason to turn down a good opportunity to develop yourself..

Yea was pretty dope seeing those two scoring in a match... Tho Simy's goal were much harder as all Victor had to do was to knock a cross from virtually only the goal net to beat.. Regardless both were outstanding..

Simy is currently, if not hotter than Iheanacho at the moment ...

He has 8 goals in his last 5 matches and is currently 5th on the Seria A scoring chart with 15 goals..

Couldn't really watch it 90 mins tho' cus a certain being with the XX chromosome wouldn't just let my head focus properly.. wink

Y'all Gon Make Me Lose My Mind.. with this news sad

Since i was in Sec School.. This guy been struggling with this!? This path he finds himself is not alien to him.. Please recover fast Dawg..

Drug addiction can be very hard to leave especially when it has become a habit or when even your body craves for it via withdrawal symptoms..

But to me, its more of a mental thing.. Once you control the mind, your body inevitably has to follow..

I am currently on a pathway to stop completely binge consumption of Ethanol.. (maybe except Red Wine but just a cup) .. And have made so far a Lil amount of progress...

even social drinking I would like to stop because from there the urge can come back plus my tolerance is so high I did have to consume a considerable large amount to feel the buzz..

Am sharing this for those that are in my situation, please let's take it easy on the bottle, our health, family, finances, social life and lots more are at risk and deep down you know it.. If we can't at the very least make an attempt to take care of ourselves, why then should we expect ppl or a divine being to go all out for us?

Peace..

Sorry but Bad decision..why is it when you're on form they want to renew your contract? Are they gonna assure you quality playing time even when Barnes and Maddison are back? Are they gonna accommodate you in the team considering you are a secondary striker at which they dont really use more often than not in their formation. Well I guess you needed that financial security incase of unseen future circumstances..

In Nigeria mostly "YES"

just sometime ago i was in a queue for something essential..as soon as I arrived, I noticed two elders come after me but were ushered to the front of the line.. angry

Now this queue was no beans! When it finally came to me being the next to be attended to, two people older than me came and stood by me neglecting those behind me.. The attendant begged me to please let him attend to them first, i said 1 yes but 2 no because this is now close to 45 mins waiting, i raised my voice while voicing my displeasure on why is it so hard for organization to reign in this part of the world.. Some female attendants now started saying "Oga you no respect your elders"? Even some ppl behind me said young man calm down... I mean what could i do, the ppl that actually supported my tirade didnt talk but just told me calmly "pls dont vex soon it will be your turn".. angry

Alas it was now my turn.. But a lady came and was given higher priority than me because of she was a staff or connected somewhat.. I was seething..

Now the attendant now said to me pls can ypu allow this old Mama (another person) , i said NO!!!

ppl were just looking at me like look at this disrespectful person.. I didn't give 2 fxuks..

As it would be.. The female attendant that told me that i dont have respect previously now told the attendant that after me and the mama, the man should close up shop!!!

Lol can you imagine.. The ppl at the back now started groaning but the madam said sorry that its already late that they should come very early tomorrow morning to resume..

So you see my brother if I had not been a lil bit aggressive for my rights i would have been told to come back the next day after waiting about more than hour to get attended to..

So you see my brother, if you're right, stand up for your right, if you like keep quiet there, nobody will bat an eye at you.. Patience is not a virtue that most Nigerians have..

This is one of the reasons why it will be hard for Nigeria to ever be a developed nation.. Tho I still believe Black Man as a whole entity is cursed beyond redemption..

Best to just take your talents and move to a White Man country, where Organisation is paramount..

Respect is supposed to be earned but in Nigeria as long as the person senior you, you are supposed to kiss his/her feet all day.. Even if the person is a criminal as long as he senior you, you are supposed to show respect to your elders..

With all our respecting and over-religious mantra, we are still globally ranked highly in extreme poverty, unemployment, insecurities, corruption among other ill vices..

And then common sense won't tell you that as a whole something fundamentally is wrong with your environment..

I don't blame them..

After all you are the one that asked for their own hard earned MONEY!

In Nigeria, its no coincidence the poverty level is very high.. And a lot.. And I mean lots of ppl borrow without paying on the due date citing bs like my dad died, or my wife gave birth.. Ni**a nobody gives 2 fcuks.. Pay up on the due date or get embarrassed.. Simple.. So I can understand why they send pre-notifications.. And definitely I believe they operate like this because they have been cheated numerously..Nigerians can be very tough and stubborn, you gotta sometimes use a hardened hand to get what you want from them...

Left to me it was the Defensive Mammoth Wilfred Ndidi..

Tho' I had posted this somewhere else but this are my ratings..

Uzoho 6.0
Not really troubled, diluted a good catch with a bad parry that resulted into a goal, fortunately was offside (to be frank I didn't see the offside), commanded his box well with a corner.. NOT really troubled

Ebuehi 7.0
Good foward link up play on the right side of the pitch with Etebo, Iheanacho, Ndidi and Chukwueze..had a shot on target after selling his marker causing the commentator to say "Thanks for coming" to the marker.. + good defensive plays..

Troost-Ekong 6.5
Didn't really understand his yellow card but nonetheless solid., quiet 2nd half but didn't lose his defensive concentration by body checking a Lesotho player to earn a throw in when it seemed the Lesotho player had it all...

Balogun 6.0
Bad pass and dispossed near his box 18 non chalantly, a shot on target via a corner and a positive run into the Lesotho box 18..Solid

Sanusi 5.5
Not enough offensive input compared to Ebuehi, tho' his defense is solid..continued his somewhat lukewarm approach to the game by losing concentration on his first moment on the ball in the 2nd half.. And then followed it up with a bad pass.. Immediately subbed off

Ndidi 8.5 MOTM
The recently named 13th best player in the 1st quarter of 2021, was a defensive magnet, won at least 5 balls with either tackles or interceptions in the 1st half and followed that with winning 5 balls either through tackles, interceptions and aerial duels.. Lost concentration however in the space of 2 mins with 2 lose balls with bad controls... Still a BEAST!!!

Etebo 7.5
A rasping shot off target, + some powerful forward runs from the midfield. scored a goal with a somewhat weak controlled shot, held the ball in tight spaces tremendously well + another shot off target

Iwobi 6.0
Too many unsuccessful passes.. His trying to force the issue is good but needs more precision. A shot on target but it lacked power.. Just an average day, subbed off early..

Chukwueze 6.0
A successful dribble and 1 key pass in the 1st half. More impact in the 2nd half, with his play contributing to the 2nd goal..Lukewarm

Iheanacho 7.0
Great Assist! A tame shot on target, contributed in the link to the 2nd goal, had a tight good pass on the break, a dribble followed with a shot off target.. Good game overall..

Osimhen 7.5
Scored the goal, had a shot off target, and forced a goal kick with good defensive pressure at the near post during a corner, then turned up 2nd half with an assist, good hustle play to win a corner, shot off target..

Subs

Onuachu 7.0
Goal with a side foot shot off Onyekuru assist.. Positive mentality..

Onyekuru 6.5
Assisted Onuachu minus some bad passes in the final third of the opponents field..

Musa 6.0
Impact not much..

Iwuala 6.0
Some unnecessary showboating, not enough time to make an impact...

Collins 6.0
More offensive minded than Sanusi.. Put in some crosses but were mostly unsuccessful.. Tidy..

Nice analysis but Iwuala's show was not unnecessary..He needed to seize the opportunity to go global....

...

Thank you my brother

I don't mind the showboating to go global (definitely not a characteristic of a team player) but showboat and make a penetrative successful key pass not a backward pass to Ebuehi..

Plus Chukwueze, Ejuke or Ejike can do this showboating 10*, so he should be more concerned about being a mainstay in the team than dreaming of going to Cyprus or Greece or Albania in the off-season with this performance..

But hell what do I know? Am not in his shoes.. I just want him to translate his efforts to 2nd assists, assists or goals.. After all that's the primary defining factor of a successful forward in the modern game...
