I just read the 2200 th day speech delivered by BRF @ LASU. Coming out of that window back to the political topics page of NL, I just felt this chill running down my spine and realised I'm back to the realities of the Nigerian political Landscape. I was living in that world where the made-in-Nigeria dream and TOWN-GOWN harmonisation had solved the major evil crippling the economic prosperity of Nigeria- Unemployment. I just wish to use this medium to implore the positive-thinking Nigerians to put aside sentiments and polar affiliation and see BRF lead this country. |
@ op I hope we live to see this fantasy becomes a reality. Mark you tribalists like you will then realise what the "North" could be if not for your myopic Hydrocarbon mentality. |
Koolmexxi: Jus go ahead and blame GEJ as usual and stop beating around d Bush.... Nyako himself has told u GEJ has nothing to do with it so I wonder wat ur problem is.I'd have done that but seriously I can't say. Just wanna rub minds and have a clear understanding with objective minds not myopic geeks. Thanks for pitching your tent though. |
This is a question that seem mysterious. I think if only one person should know who is the architect of these sprees, I think it would be the victims but paradoxically, when the process is commenced, they all run to the once-assumed clueless one GEJ. So can someone help, at least me, with a plausible explanation to this? |
Ok |
Omexonomy: This bunch of muslims clown should stop crying like hungry baby. If they have any grieviance to settle why not join BH as usuall and continue from where shekau stop.u can call Muslims whatever name u wanna call em and I can't blame you but I assure you, you don't wanna experience the anger of Muslims and if you think you are protected wherever you are, keep up your voice aloud and people like you will discover how far we can go. U have never seen anything. Be careful. |
It's easier to impeach Jonathan than to impeach Wamakko my dear PDP e-hawk. |

I was really skeptical on how rice would skew the electorates in Ekiti state considering it position as the fountain of knowledge but it did. I then saw it taking prominence in Osun state now and as expected, it is going viral in my dear Arewa axis. Shouldn't we be scared of the extent of electoral ignorance? When are we going to appreciate the strength of our votes? I am perplexed at the situation. Need some moral support coz my hope is dwindling with the unfolding events. RICE? |
NewsINigeria: Then who can call it off? Doctors should stop killing people. |
Yungwizzzy28: If nairaland was a state what would be its slogan?Site of tribalism and selective objectivity |

Thaddeus. U there? Gotta biz. |
Even if his brain is black all we need from him is to do his Job. Focus on issues. Let's grow up. |
Agreed but with what is happening, I doubt so much if that's gonna solve the issues. As boring and tolerated as it sounds, it's a question of good governance. |
Civil and Strategic Evolutionary recolonisation of Africa. |
You have forgotten another category - Those whom have sworn to protect lives and properties of Nigerians and are, for political and/material reasons, accomplices to the worsening of our Political, Economic and Social Status only to be giving false assurances and pointing fingers on subjects without any result. |
Jokes aside. El Rufai has been one of the few people that raise very factual issues on this administration. They can't be disputed with all sense of reasoning. If u have personal issues with him so be it but his points r almost always undeniable. I'm surprised he is way down the list. If the political assassin of all times GEJ had any clue how NER brings his atrocities to light he would have made him # 1. Any ways sleep tight jor |

Its a bit late to plead with Hon. Speaker. In politics one can't predict with certainty but GEJ has made a very expensive mistake of letting Sokoto state gov decamp to opposition . . . Politically, he gets things done. I doubt if d speaker can betray him. As difficult as it seems the fate of GEJ returning to Aso rock depends on those governors termed renegades. |
As usual . . . empty promises . . . I hope he gets d message |
Kasarawa- siri Jalalu, garin Magaji kowa sarki, inda mai lage ka sarauta. Wamakko LGA sokoto state . . . Arewa |
GoodlukJonathan: Jona, pls deal with those Fukin Muslim fools and the renegade Amaechi!Muslim fools right? Watch out . . . U seem to b as docile, clueless, useless as your retarded benefactor |
Define the words used by el Rufai n see if GEJ fits in or not. Nigeria's problem is a physical one and not spiritual. if we spend another hundred years praying without doing what we ought to do,we'll remain moving in d backward direction. Put sentiments aside and look @ those words. to Mr special ad over, elrufai n his lines r sick n bitter yes they r of this govt that he clearly defined. . .. . gbam |
It is indeed unfortunate that this administration has made it a habit to be keeping people in the dark concerning matters affecting the common man and some sentimentalists either blindly supporting such by trying to justify the unjustifiable or taking it to be a kind of a joke. |
Wsdm: Do you know that a president must get at least 25% votes from the any region to be able to win election? How comes you said he did'nt get any Northern vote in 2011? The reason for the post election violence in the North was as a result of the votes he was given by the Governors he now fights so hard?leave d omo alone. SW k. |
chukwudi44: Bros did GEJ win in Bauchi in 2011? Abeg leave that matter jare. This man is a hausa man what else do you want him to say? Do you really believe southern kadunna will vote for a northern muslim? It is even easir for APC to win in the east than in places like southern KadunnaIts obvious u r far from d north n a fan of "fresh air" time will tell. keep on living on religious differences, I don't blame u, its d PDP spell casted on u. |
Promhize: I wish to see, Yoruba seceed, Igbo seceed and see what will remain of those stupid northerners. Goats in human form, who will vote for them if not them stupid selves.Watch out . . . u'll b surprised |
