maxwello.yg:
I THINK I saw one Igbo. Sometimes I can't differentiate between Yoruba Moslem name and Hausa names!!
90percent of them are Hausas.
Why do Hausas love power too much?
u will understand . . . so simply because they don't wanna be criticised they should keep shut no matter oppression . . . myopic sentimentalists

Dee60: Going down? No way! Bayelsa is still solidly behind him!
Bayelsa . . . so if buhari sponsored BH then who is sponsoring Niger delta militants who act with impunity.

roxell120: ure 100% right.while we igbos nd our yoruba counterparts are busy running our mouths on the internet hausas are busy working out practical things for their interest. u hardly hear an hausa voice on nairaland even if u rain a million abuses on them as regards any issue.but they are more active in projects they set out to do.look at the level they ve reached.a coup in a civil way? time will tell.
u r ryt my brother. Hausa people understand d leverage they have - votes n others investments. u guys r busy posting online n sharing false in formations. As long as Nigeria is as it is, no president can win elections without the north. up Arewa.

chukwudi44: Finally the new faction finally shows its ethnic face.It is a northern movement
and what's wrong with that? its d reality. If d common denominator is marginalization then they are fighting for survival which is only human . . . ask Darwin.

PoliticsRe: PDP Governors, Lawmakers Give Conditions To Join APC by drauj(m): 5:29am On Aug 06, 2013
dridowu: Most of our politician are prostitute in politics, jumping from one party to other,
PDP-ACN-CPC-LP-FDP-APC-NDP-PPA-ACPN.........................they are just recycling themselves
I think the best is just to vote for a credible candidate in upcoming elections
Reshuffling if u like. u don't expect to get people from the moon to set 9ja on track. Sometimes arrangement or configuration make a whole world of difference if u get what I mean.
PoliticsRe: Governor Kwankwaso Visits Victims Of Kano Blast by drauj(m): 8:58am On Jul 31, 2013
It is really unfortunate that when stuff like these happen people only castigate those who carried out the attack and have no qualm with the authorities. We fail to really sit n analyse thee cause. In any problem, if u treat manifestation u may get a temporary relief but it will resurface as long as the cause is not addressed. Banana republic of Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Marriageable Age Of Places Around The World by drauj(m): 12:17am On Jul 22, 2013
lyfe: I do agree with Shym-x, but the case is different here. If you go through the clauses attached to those laws stating that minors can get married you will find out that:

A minor and a minor is a YES.

A minor(girl) with slight deviation in age not more than 10 years YES, but more than 10 years difference NO

The person, especially man asking hand in marriage must not be in the position of authority; must not be your teacher, doctor, pastor, imam, senator, nanny etc.

17 and 19 is okay, while 16 and 27 is a NO NO.

So 13 years old girl and 50 something years old Mallam/Senator....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
shame on you. that is not the question here. least age of marriage. I'm disappointed in u.
PoliticsRe: US Report Cautions Nigeria Of Civil War by drauj(m): 11:04am On Jul 21, 2013
It is said not all that glitters is gold. Anyone doubting the ability of the US in determining the future of Nigeria is not realistic. Jonathan went into fragile ties with China and gullible Nigerians were jubilating. US is a country that holds its survival above everything in the strict sense. I have a soft spot for GEJ but I know he has made a wrong move here. OBJ is already meeting with very very strong politicians in the North. I just hope Jonathan is really a patriot who knows his limits. This post is for people with eyes to see not those blinded by ethno-religious sentiments.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Northern Governors In Closed-door Meeting At Obasanjo’s Residence by drauj(m): 12:23am On Jul 21, 2013
kaorama: This should be no too much arguement about the visit. There is no way GEJ will be in Ogun state on a condolence visit to Abati family without seeing OBJ. That is courtesy and respect. We must learn to appreciate those who have gone ahead of us in the same field of life. And that is what Amechi will soon learn in a hard way.
but he can go to Lagos n commission fg project without meeting fashola . . . so objective.

PoliticsRe: Details Of Ruling That Set Free Al-mustapha by drauj(m): 5:38pm On Jul 13, 2013
Delafruita: the trial was filled with hatred and sentiments because almustapha ordered the assassination.however,i have gone through the transcripts from the original trial and the appeal and i believe the judgement was the right one based on the evidence before the court.the prosecution didnt prove their case beyond reasonable doubt which is the major factor required to get a conviction.

for those that say the trial lasted too long,it did because almustapha kept coming up with ridiculous injuctions and seeking ridiculous reliefs which necessitated continous adjournments all in the name of a fair trial.sgt rogers testified in open court that almustapha ordered them to kill kudirat.he gave full details but unfortunately,he was made to recant that testimony.

this judgement doesnt erase the truth and almustapha will forever have the blood of kudirat on his head
I used to have an understanding that facts are brought forth in court when demanded as the case goes on. But a duration of fourteen years for a sensitive case like this, its so obvious it has taken long. Justice here has been denied no matter the outcome. Nigerian legal system . .. . smh.

If that should be the case, is our democracy ripe enough to stand his freedom?
