Yet some people say traditions must be upheld. What your great grandfather was doing is what you want to continue to do forever. Bigotry! |
Thank you for this write up. I've been seeing people complaining about the fees paid in private universities. Such people don't consider things like this and just post without thinking. And I have noticed that many people hate private universities, for reasons I do not know, some claiming that their standards are too low compared to public institutions. The truth is private universities are organized and provide a conducive environment for learning. As such, excellent grades from such universities should not be a surprise. |
Lol Nice story. How much did Ariel pay you to post this? |

Besides the points above^^^ What I have seen from your post is: 1. You feel anyone who graduates from a private university is a mediocre. 2. You feel no private university graduate has ever done anything useful to the society. 3. You, in general, detest the existence of private universities. Like you want everyone to be in public institutions. 4. You have no idea about the set-up of most private universities. Varsities like Bells, Covenant, Babcock and the likes have adequate international relations. 5. You consistently compare private universities to World class ones, but you don't even attempt doing that to public institutions. In general, this your write-up is biased against private institutions, probably from some destabilising personal experience or just in an attempt to defend your Alma Mata (I presume you have one). I suggest you rid yourself of unnecessary hatred towards private institutions, and make an informed research. Visit private institutions,(these in particular: Babcock, Bells, Covenant, all in Ondo state) check out their infrastructure and compare them to their public counterparts. I trust you will make such a research unbiased and come to a reasonable conclusion. You may find them equal(i use that term loosely) if not superior. Nevertheless not all public instituitions suffer from such frivolities. There acute examples of what a public institution should be like,e.g. The University of Illorin. Goodluck on your research. ✌ |
ReverseEngineer:I read everything. You just believe that people in private schools either do not have any special infrastructure which should make them do better than those in public, or they are not making good use of their facilities in creation of better technology. You basically came here to run down the private institutions. You did not make an in-depth analysis from pre-sourced information gathered from actual public and private institutions. The truth is that privates have access to modern technology. Usually in public institutions (most of which are >30 years), the facilties available are the ones which were placed as at the time of it's creation. Thus, outdated facilites are found in public institutions. When the need for modern tech arises, publics may not be able to properly key into and make use of such tech. Public institutions usually have students far greater than the preposed capacity. Thus, majority of the students will not be able to recieve lectures properly. Cultism, theft, poor hostel facilties, inadequate number of hostels, and other conditions are factors faced by publics which privates do not face. So why should anyone stand up and question the academic ability of a person just because he/she did not study in a public (outdated) university? Please, leave students to study where they please. It's what they bring to society that counts. If they can cope in public, fine. If they do well in private, fine. It's what they do with their knowlege that matters. Don't downgrade other institutions because of hatred for which no reason exists. |
Where is the "analysis" ? |

Silvereze:You're not alone. We plenty for this friendzone. My plan now is to become normal friend. All those extra time and energy i put will no longer be wasted. |
DemiGoddess:Managing. All these girls and friendzone. I wonder wetin man go do again before una take am serious. |
DemiGoddess:Dahz it exactly. What I've always been to her. TODAY, my friendzone must break. She will no longer use my head |
Silvofitz:Don't bring UTME into this. Jamb has lost it's respect due to irregularities noticed and is no longer a credible evaluation. Some candidates who wished to study in public have to go to private. Besides an examination is not a true test of knowledge. Private universities have better infrastructure and conducive environment for learning. Public students have to battle with cultism, over-packed hostels and classrooms from which they may gain no knowledge after each class, and lecturers who hold supreme and unchecked power to fail or pass whomever they wish to. So don't say that private university graduates are not up to those in public because more people graduate with first class than in public. Privates go to school and learn. Publics go to school and suffer whilst learning. Privates can focus on their academics. Publics have to deal with other issues. |
DauraDullard0:So while someone is in pains and others are helping, he should be standing, taking pictures. |
I wonder how he does it. |
And the world claims our economy is bigger than that of SA. If in all these problems we have a bigger economy, then think what would happen if just electricity was constant. With the number of industries that would be setup, SA would be nothing compared to us. But NO!, our leaders decide instead to steal money that even their children's children cannot use up. Leaders..., MAKE THUNDER FIRE ALL OF UNA!!! |

The orange has axial placentation . It's arrangement makes it easy to eat the fruit. |
No hating though but a high IQ does not not necessarily mean you have a mental ability greater that those whose IQ's are not up to yours. It just gives a summary showing general level of intellect. So comparing this kid to gods of physics who predicted theories years above them is just foolhardy. You may compare the IQ test results but nothing more. |
DAMN! This is TOO BEAUTIFUL! OP where is the second one? |
Honestly, i did not understand one thing that Wizkid said in that song. Didn't even sound like him. His part was just not clear, as if he wasn't actually there in the studio with them. Lyk his part was recorded separately or something. And here I was thinking this would be his big break to the rest of the world. |
acenazt:Prayer is talking to God. Anybody in right standing with God can do that. He being a pastor doesn't make a difference. Both he and other people have been praying for the country. It's God who has the final say. |
And how will they do that? People are using pencil to shade paper and you think a device will be able to detect if they are cheating or not. Is it that you will deduct marks when someone gets correct answers in a row? So intelligent students will then suffer for this? Rubbish. There is no way to detect anything. People just lying everywhere. That is how JAMB said they have Item Response Theory only to begin to fail students anyhow for answering too many questions correctly. Mtcheew. |
OLAADEGBU:It's not hard, but if you write Jamb, the result you will get will not be a reflection of what you entered in the exam. |
Work on your English, particularly spellings. Maybe then I'd take you seriously. Everyone is smart enough to pass a certificate examination. Just read to understand and you'll pass. If that doesn't work for you, then you need to see a doctor. You may be suffering from Down's Syndrome. |
So what we have been seeing all this time was just paint. Still looking good though. |
We all know this year's Jamb wasn't normal. No need to kill yourself. You weren't the only one affected. |
