progress69: There have been so much fuss about the MMM saga in Nigeria, with the media playing a major role.
But the actual fact is that the main MMM killer is the surge of numerous Ponzi schemes with more promising reward with lesser risk.
On my last count, i was able to identify over 10 schemes with mouth watering rewards with lesser capital. I will not be going into details about them.
As it is well known that MMM promises just 30%, where as there are so many schemes that promises as much as 200% in less than 30days which are actually working for now.
Many if these schemes require lesser capital, with greater reward.
For instance, you have to PH as high as 1million Naira to make a minimum profit of N300,000 in 30days, but there are schemes circulating where u can make the same N300,000 with just N50,0000 in less than 30days.
This has made MMM a liability with a higher risk and less profitability, making people shift to spreading money in numerous schemes with the idea that everyone can not fail at the same time. If one fails, others are back ups.
The fact is many MMM participants are already involved in some of these schemes, and silently praying to collect back their money and quitc to a less riskier scheme in terms of capital. MMM as already proven that it is also vulnerable, so are the other schemes. The difference is one is less riskier in terms of capital than the other.
WHO THE HELL WILL PUT HUGE CAPITAL FOR LESSER PROFIT IN A SCHEME THAT HAS FAILED THEM ONCE?
Note that many of these schemes also giver referral bonuses.
I forsee a total restart of MMM Nigeria just like it was done in Zimbabwe and South Africa. But remember, old mavros were not recovered. Don't let any guider deceive you. They have made their money from you.

FMary: It is very obvious that MMM promoters stole a lot of money form investors
The system works in a way that you must provide help (PH) before you can get help (GH).
One question is, the first investors who provided help in the system, to whom did they give help to?...as no one was qualified to receive help then.
My take is that the initial investors provided help to the promoters (website owners).
Note: suppose that at the second coming of MMM Nigeria, the people who have money in the system and needs to be paid are being owed say #600 million.
To pay all these people their #600 million, you need new investors to provide help worth #600 million.
When these new investors provide help worth #600 million, the system will be owing these new investors #600 million plus 30% which is #180 million.
Automatically the system is then indebted to the tune of #780 million.
If this circle continues, the system will continue to be heavily indebted.
This system has no central account and so money is not invested in any real estate or business venture that will bring in profits so this system will continue to be indebted to its investors.
In fact the debt level will continue to rise.
My Take: 1. From the negative publications about MMM (which actually is positive publications because the system is a fraud), lots of people would seriously not want to put in any heavy amount of money in the system for now. Some may just want to try with say 20k... things like that.
2. Even if people go on investing in the system again, the system will definitely crash again. There will be no funds to fill in the debt gap which will continue to rise astronomically.
My Advise: 1. Run as far as your legs can carry you when someone asks you to come invest in MMM or any of its kind.
2. It's quite unfortunate but if you have money in the system currently, especially for those who have invested heavily and for those who cannot afford to loose their money, please begin to see it as a business investment gone wrong. There is a 99% chance you will not get your money back. Sad but it is true.
My Prayer: My prayer is that God will give many the courage and heart to bear the loss and the wisdom to avoid such greed in the future. what next? |

pressplay411: Any one who has invested in MMM is unlikely to be happy reading this. So if you're still hoping to GH or PH, you should probably stop reading now.
Here's proof with receipts why MMM is a scam and is shut down for good.
MMM didn't start up in Nigeria, no. It started in Russia, then branched out to other countries.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergei_Mavrodi
It's all fun while it lasts but when the bubble busts Mr Mavrodi seeks out the next country to scam. It is not entirely a scam as it capitalizes on networking and human greed. He clearly states his objectives and advises its participants to commit only spare amounts. So technically he's actually not guilty of duping you.

This is why MMM has crashed in Nigeria
MMM is able to continue its chain as long as old and new memebers continue to PH. Presently there is an overload of members waiting inline to GH thanks to the special 50% bonus promised in December. In number and amount, it is unrealistic to be able to match these members with corresponding members ready to PH. Worst part, it's January and not enough money circulating in the country. Most people are waiting for January salary to be able to even survive talkless of PH. Apparently presently there are no/few new memebers as no one is willing to risk his investment considering the amount of money trapped in the ponzi scheme.
So tell me, how realistic is it for memebers to GH?
Mavrodi is a business man, he gets paid by your Google and YouTube videos. Probably also has some smart people he's planted in the country most likely the so called Guiders making extra money for him.
This ponzi scheme was doomed from the onset as no investment is clearly stated to be made with your investments to generate the 30-50% interests being paid to participants. Clearly you won't like this cos the Truth is a bitter pill to swallow.
MMM members are quick to call us anti-MMM, haters, etc, asking us to mind our business. some will even tell you they have been matched and they have been paid but honestly, Accept your fate. MMM was a gamble, some of you made hay while the sun shined and pulled out. But eventually as all gambles go, it is time and the House has Won. Is that all |
