Sad he didn't die a Christian.

Politics / Re: Profile Of Ibrahim Dankwambo And His Nigerian Presidential Bid by drealzum(m): 9:05pm On Mar 11, 2018
Dankwambo is not fulani.
He is from a small minority tribe in Gombe called Tera.
And he is responsible for the transformation of Gombe. Gombe can be said to be the fastest developing city in Northern Nigeria because of him.
But I think Atiku and Sule Lamido have more chance at presidency than him. Sule Lamido is detrabalised. Atiku is known even in the south. But how many people know Dankwambo in Jos that is north here how much more Otuoke?
He is better but he can't sell. He doesn't even have this large Buhari kind of followership in the North maybe because he is not Fulani.
So really and sincerely I don't think Dankwambo can challenge Buhari for presidency.
Let's wait and see how things unfold sha as election year approaches.

Politics / Re: Who Is The Most Popular Deputy Governor In Nigeria? by drealzum(m): 7:20pm On Mar 09, 2018
No deputy Governor is popular In Nigeria.
Some people are mentioning some funny names at IMo and Ekiti. Who them epp here for Jos?
Your deputy governor is only known in your state.
There are some states we don't even know the Governors. Some state Governors are not even on the news for us here in Jos to see or hear about them. When was the last time I saw Osun, Ondo,Oyo,Yobe and Ebonyi state governors on the news?
But in Kogi, there is a difference. There is a man there who is competing for popularity with the state governor Yahaya Bello. He is Kogi chief of staff. He is Nigeria's most popular state Chief of Staff. His name is Edward Onoja. That man is more powerful than even the deputy governor in that state. After governor na him.

My friend has been missing for over a week now.
You guys have no idea how it feels.
Your imaginations run wild. You wonder where he is, what has happened and all.
You have no idea what the wife is going through now.
Since January. it's better to show a family dead body than to tell them a person is missing.
What if the woman is reading our comments on nairaland now. How will she feel? No hope, no comfort nothing.
It is well ma. God works in mysterious ways.

Business / Re: Dangote Tops Forbes’ 23 African Billionaires List For The 7th Time by drealzum(m): 9:49am On Feb 28, 2018
Net worth of Dangote keeps dropping but he is still topping the list.
The Sawiris are the richest family in Africa.
What suprise me is that, they are coptic Christians.
Christians making lot of Money in Egypt populated by Muslims. The head of the family, Onsi must be a smart man to be able to survive with religion discrimination. Two of his three children are on the list.
I believe Patrice motsepe the richest man in South Africa will rise in wealth in the next coming years.
His inlaw Cyril Rhamaphosa(A millionaire) is now the new president of South Africa. The will make lot of money together same way Jacob Zuma did with the Gupta brothers.
The man I respect the most on the list is Sir Strive Masiyiwa. A Christian. Very humble. He takes time to converse with the youth inspite of his busy schedules. He listens to all.

Politics / Re: Is This Politics Between Christian North And South Solidified In Marriage??? by drealzum(m): 3:40am On Feb 27, 2018
Lol. Pankshin is my home town o.
I'm a Proud Ngas boy. I don't consider us a small tribe really. We are second largest tribe on the plateau and we are also found in Bauchi.
The lady is ngas........That's the language we speak.
I wish the lady a blessed marriage. We are full Christians. Dumb for any body not to know that, giving the number of Ngas men that have contributed their quota to this Country.
General Yakubu Gowon(Former Head of state) ,JD Gomwalk(Governor of Benue plateau) , Colonel Buka Dimka(Ask Murtala Mohammed family) , Prof Umoru Gomwalk(Pioneer chancellor of FUTO and one time Vc at Nsukka),Rhoda Mohammed (First female Nigerian ambassador to UN), Ice prince Panshak Zamani(You all listen to his rap), Pastor Ishaku Chingtok (You all have heard his messages and songs) Kefas Ropshik(CEO of Kefiano autos, the biggest car stand in Abuja),Hezekiah Dimka(Former commissioner of police in Imo), Prof Nenfort Gomwalk(Former Vc of Uni Jos), Victor Dimka(We all know what he did when he was custom boss in charge of Seme border), David paradang(Former Comptroller General of Immigration).
These are the few popular ngas individuals I can think of and remember right now. I don't think giving these number of people, some one should be asking, are they Christians? Who are they?
Questions like that shows how little or nothing an individual knows about his country.

Politics / Re: Benue Killings: Jang Blasts Lalong Over Comments Against Ortom by drealzum(m): 12:16pm On Jan 13, 2018
I have said it and I will keep saying it.
Governor Lalong is a drunk.
An unrepentant alcoholic.
He goes to office with dirty eyes in the morning.
He was addressing press men at the villa under the influence.
He is an accidental governor who stumbled into power. His only achievement is 'paying of salaries'. That's all he boast about. He is willing to sell plateau to Hausa fulanis for re election in 2019. He is appointing fulanis to executive positions(This is what has never happened before) in the state. He said the reason for doing this is to maintain peace.
But Lalong does not know his end is near. I want to see if in 2019 Hausa fulani will have more votes than indigenes of the state. Simon bako Lalong will be sent back to ajikamai in 2019.
He shouldn't compare him self with Jang.
Jang is a plateau hero. He defended his people against fulani marauders.
Infrastructurally, Lalong is no match to Jonah Jang.
Jang did not fill pot holes at kuru because the president was visiting. Jang constructed long kilometers stretch of road and not these 0.5Km-5Km footpath kind of local government project lalong is doing calling it road because he heard the president will be visiting the state next month.

Please be lenient with your comment on my governor. Those close to him say he is an unrepentant drunk. I belived he said those statements under the influence...... after cancelling some bottles.

It's unfortunate plateau people voted this clown..... He is a joke and I don't know how manage he became a lawyer.
Business / Re: FG Orders Dangote, BUA To Vacate Disputed Mining Site In Edo by drealzum(m): 12:13pm On Dec 19, 2017
Marotzke:
No ,he is not from Edo state.
He probably grew up in Edo state or at best schooled at Auchi polytechnic(check his postings on the Otaru or Auch town).
So it is not suprising that he is well aquainted with the happenings in Okpella town.
NwaAmaikpe is definitely a journalist of the satirical bend ,who hides under the anonymity of the net to haul stones and dirt ,right left and centre.(wait until the Edaiken of Uselu catches you).
Being a part time journalist myself, i have be trying to unmask this Enigma called NwaAmaikpe.
There is a 70%match between NwaAmaikpe and lalasticlala.
NwaAmaikpe is an evolving name where the poster traces his origins through his user names.
1Nwamazi Aro.
2AroOkeigbo.
3NwaObinkita.
4NwaAmaikpe
5NwaChibuzor.
This is a journalist using his origins to coin usernames.
One handle controls them.
6Ubamedie is also a handle he uses for some incendiary postings about Edo state that he dosent't want ethnic blowback from.
So who is this satirist that have people enthralled and a moderator in NAIRALAND?
I have narrowed my search to just two brillant guys that fit the bill.
NwaAmaikpe is between 45 to 50 years old.
A seasoned journalist with a high pedigree.
Had his higher education in either Auchipoly, Ekpoma or Uniben.
Most likely Auchi.
Graduated around 1992.
Successful professional.
You are correct.
But I think he is Igbo and he schooled in edo state. From his comment, one can infer he is well travelled.

This thing is funny.
I thought the mining site in okpella belongs to BUA?
I remember when Abdulsamad Rabiu was opening his cement factory, the vice president and Edo state governor were all present at okpella. Today you tell him to equally vacate the community with Dangote.
I don't know much or anything about these people's business. But the only thing I learnt from here is inviting top govt functionaries for your launching ceremony does not guarantee you protection from Nigeria's powerful.
Two three years ago, there use to be one Igbo man like that always on NTA, I can't remember his name. He was always urging Nigerians to buy Nigeria and not foreign. We should buy his local produced tomato paste and not imported. He bought pages on vanguard and many top News papers then to publicise his product.
Nothing seemed to change. One day he announced he will be moving of to China where cost of production is cheaper to produce his product. He was granting interviews on how many workers he has to lay and how Nigeria will lose and all that. That was the end of erisco. Last year I saw on Tv Erisco company opening a new factory in Lagos and Aishia Buhari was invited.
She was there and they both smiled. Smart move he thought. He tried moving with some top govt fuctionaries urging them to ban importation of foreign tomatoes.
Today where is Erisco?
How many people use Erisco tomato paste to cook?
We still buy foreign.
Gino and De rica still rule our market.
Every day I learn something from Nigeria business sphere.
Top government functionaries honoring your invitation and smiling with you is no guarantee they will protect you from their powerful friends.

These are Chad and Niger Republic girls. They are plenty in Kaduna, kano side. I was suprised when a friend told me he saw them in benin. Now here are pictures of them in calabar. Hunger is really pushing them down south of Nigeria.
The women and little children are sent to beg while the men seat in a corner drinking tea. They are not Nigerians.

I didn't even know there is a local government in kaduna called kubau self.
Well from what I gathered, the teachers are not protesting about the sack, they are protesting about the irregularities in the process.
These are some of the irregularities.
-Dead teachers name on list of those who have passed.
-Names of retired teachers and messengers on list of those who have passed.
-Release of script of those who failed.

Politics / Re: 15 Senators That May Not Return To The Senate In 2019 by drealzum(m): 6:43am On Oct 29, 2017
Arm chair analysis from an arm chair journalist.
Never make assumptions from what you read on paper. Visit the states first, feel the pulse of the people before making statements. I will write about Kaduna and plateau where I reside.
What is the major reason why a senator may not return to senate though he is working? Because he is from same senatorial zone with the governor. El rufai and Shehu sani are not from same senatorial zone. El rufai is the one most likely not to return as governor in kaduna because his 3 senators are against him. If shehu sani contest for governor with El rufai he is most likely to win, because aside the backing of his kaduna central,he has also endeared him self to the Christians in kaduna south.
There is a faction in APC kaduna. El rufai is not fully loved. Shehu sani is too a big name for him to pull down. Shehu sani is even more popular than him. El rufai has not done anything major. Everything he started he has abandoned. School feeding program comes to mind. Shehu sani is seen as the saviour there.
In plateau, I was expecting you will mention Joshua Dariye as one of the senator that won't return for his under performance or you mention Jeremiah useni because he is from same senatorial zone with the governor and minister or he is aged.
Let me give you three reasons why Jonah Jang will return to senate in plateau north if he chooses to return.
1, The berom are the dominant tribe in plateau north. it is difficult for a non berom to win that position of senator. Jang is a berom.
2, Jonah Jang is the biggest name in terms of politics from berom land at present. So for any one to dream of pushing him aside, it's wishful thinking.
3, The third and most important is the plateau idealogy. Every plateau man feels the Hausa Fulani want to snatch his beautiful plateau from him. plateau is always on the news for attack and 90 percent of this attack occur in plateau north. In the plateau north it self, beroms suffer the biggest brunt.
Jonah Jang is one man that has fought for the pleateu people. He has fought against Fulani occupation. So his people like him. They wouldn't want a weakling in that position. A campaign against Jang will be viewed as campaign in support of plateau killing. Campaign in support of Hausa Fulani marauders. That is the plateau idealogy. A plateau man has this mind set that you want to steal his land from him. You want to steal his weather from him. You want to steal his neatly lined hills and valleys . You want to steal his water from him. You want to steal his legumes ,fruit and plant crop that can only be grown in his location from him. In short, you want to steal his beautiful plateau from him. Off cause Jang has contenders. I. D Gyang and Edward Pwajok comes to mind. But Jonah Jang still has that edge above them. His people don't mind that he sleeps in red chamber as the OP affirmed . His people appreciate that he came to console with them after their love ones were attacked the previous night.

Education / Re: What Is The English Term For "Osuka"? by drealzum(m): 1:36pm On Oct 16, 2017
Lool.........There are many African words that don't have direct translation in English.
There are many words in Hausa I can't remember all now, I use to ask what is the direct translation in English. There is something in Hausa they call "Saraba". Saraba is like that bread you bought on the road when you are travelling.
So they people you give the bread to, You have given them "Saraba". It is not gift. it is similar to gift. Saraba is that thing your mother buys for you(May be fish or something)when she goes to the market. Saraba is gotten from a different location but not from where the receiver stays. What is Saraba now?

Politics / Re: Arewa Vs Ndigbo Novelty Match: Osinbajo To Honor Football Match by drealzum(m): 12:47pm On Sep 26, 2017
Igbo vs Arewa what is that? I remember when I was young, then we stayed at nyanya abuja. There was a football match like that I think with similar name . I cant remember if it was North vs south or Igbo vs north. But I couldn't fit in any where. When I went to join my Christians friends they said "Ahh you are not from south, go and meet our opponent" and when I did, they said "Nooh you are not a Muslim, you are not one of us" . At a young age of 7 I understood the plight of a northern minority. I knew I was neither arewa nor south, I was middle belt. Many still don't know.
Last week it was on news that northern governors went for visit in the south on need for peaceful coexistence. My governor was among. Then I noticed something. First of all the governors went under umbrella of 'north' but after the meeting, they decided to hold meeting with the Hausa community. I wonder what my governor will contribute to that meeting. I wonder if any plateau, Benue, Taraba, or S.Kaduna man will attend that meeting. Thank God he left and didn't stay for it. The thing turned Islamic........When they start there Islamic prayers what do you do? stand? sit or watch? We don't fit there.
Let me not digress........ This match should be properly titled.....Igbo's vs Hausa and not
arewa or north vs Igbo's because even the igbos know the people that compose the team they are playing.
Career / Re: Biochemistry Vs Microbiology: Which One Has More Job Opportunities In Nigeria? by drealzum(m): 7:05am On Sep 13, 2017
What do you guys have to say about Anatomy and physiology? Is there any place they can boldly apply to work professionally?
Where does a microbiologist really work? Water board? But go to NAFDAC, bulk of their staff their are biochemist and pharmacist. The problem is just job scarcity. The ratio of Job opportunities to number of biochemistry graduate is low. Biochemist can also work at industries.
But personally I believe at this age and time, one should focus more on entrepreneurship rather than job seeking. Demand for job is more than supply in the whole country. It is even worse for those who study physic, chemistry, maths, biology, zoology, political science, sociology e.t.c.
Even pharmacy we see as lucrative, haven't you seen jobless pharmacist? How many Job opportunities are opened for a pharmacist? How many drug producing companies do you know? And how many drug dispensing centers have you seen vacancy in front of their gate? You see 'Job security' is an illusion. it doesn't exist. Create a Job from what you studying. In Biochemistry, you can make lot of money from parasitology research, Nutrition research and studying alloxan with respect to diabetes. These are not jobs. They are opportunities!!

I don't know about CU but generally elite schools are more valuable in areas of networking/contact building than actual theory/studies. I attended an elite secondary school and up till date I can attest to how valuable those contacts could be. Recently one of our former schoolmates was seeking sponsorship/funding for a pet project he had. He relied on his secondary school contacts and within the first three weeks he had meetings with the emir of kan , Gov. Ambode, Atiku, a former Insp Gen. of police, Mutallab senior... He is trying to meet with more people while recording tremendous successes with some of the contacts he has made. He made these contacts through children/nieces of these people.

One of the benefits of elite schools. Always focus on the possible positives of any decision one makes rather than condemn everything that you perceive to be against your belief.
I understand your comment and share same sentiments. I don't just understand why you chose to be insultive at the end. My younger brother is also going to Covenant to do Archi this year. He started from KHS(Living faith primary school),then to their secondary school, faith academy, right now my father wants to send him to CU , so am not against the school. The conducive environment and every thing is superb.
As for network, I also graduated from an elite secondary school in Kaduna ( I would have love to mention the name but it will sound immodest) and I understand the importance of graduating from such schools. You get exposed to information which students from other schools are not exposed too. You meet people whose parents command influence in the state.......This could serve as doorway to big opportunities for you I know.
I don't seem to understand the necessity of your last paragraph, is it that you have problems comprehending what I wrote earlier or you just want to hit me?........ I never condemned CU, did I? Haa!

But you pay 857k to study biology and then you finish to come and compete for job with some one who payed 45k a year in uni jos. it's not fair! Not as if you know something that he doesn't, and not as if you are more guaranteed of job than he is........We will all head to same labour market, compete for same jobs, bid for same contracts, suffer from same governments terrible policies.
Some people won't even end up practising what they studied.......ahhh........Painful o.
