A friend of mine is on scholarship in holland and she did the traditional marriage here in nigeria, and now she wants to do the white wedding in france and they are asking her to get a spinster certificate to show she hasn't been married before. Eshe!
She needs to get to her or possible any LGA secretariat and request for spinsterhood certificate. She would be informed on what to do next to get the certificate.
Politics › Re: Buhari Defends His Records On BBC Hardtalk by Dreambeat: 7:24pm On Dec 23, 2014
He did perform well at this interview. He was sharp, intelligent and straight to the point on his answers but remember it was 10 YEARS AGO!His present state, abilities and level of knowledge of happenings in Nigeria's political and economic circle is nothing to write home about. He is a far cry from what he was.Age is telling on him.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has always been an online application process. It is advisable to register NOW,upload the requisite documents and wait for the appropriate time to click on the SUBMIT button.

Details here http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/sinp
I have mistakenly clicked on 'Create a New Application' tab twice from the 'My Action' box, does it matter? If it does, how do I delete one?

TO any expecting lady reading here...

When you want to have a baby....PLEASE PLEASE ASK THAT A CERTIFIED CONSULTANT OBS/GYN be there!
Not necessarily Doc,except in the case of expected difficult delivery ab initio,a CERTIFIED midwife will do.In this case there was probably a CPD.The lady in question did not have a proper antenatal care, this contributed to her death.I advice every pregnant woman to register to a good hospital early in pregnancy for antenatal care. Here any comorbid condition that could affect delivery will be detected and taken care of on time to avoid unnecessary morbidity or mortality after delivery.

Hello damkollins and others.Kudos to you for your good work.Is it advisable for one to submit a document showing the value of a landed property as a proof of fund? Will the Canadian authority accept it?Is there any particular valuer(s) whose certificate is acceptable as against others?

Sad story.

The boy obviously must have had a ruptured spleen / organ and was bleeding internally.

This story just highlights the incompetencies of the Nigerian health sector.half-baked doctors.working without proper facilities, and an ignorant population who think "holding down" a fatally I'll patient and maniacally praying in tongues speaking gibberish will miraculously solve the problem.

RIP to the deceased.
I wonder why some people refuse to be civil in their utterances. angry

Silly cowards sitting in air conditioned offices and condemning brave hearts to death, non sense!
Shooting at your commanding officers is not bravery, rather it is stupidity.Every profession has its hierarchy which must be respected. There are better ways of expressing your grievances. The military should be an epitome of discipline. The law must take its course to deter future occurrences lest we wake up one morning to hear " Fellow Nigerians ..."
Politics › Re: Mutiny: 54 Soldiers Sentenced To Death By Firing Squad, 5 Freed by Dreambeat: 11:05pm On Dec 17, 2014
Too bad.The military profession is not meant for everyone, you either fall in line or you fall out.A very high sense of discipline and obedience is required to be a successful military officer. It is not for the faint hearted.

@Sloan,why are you blaming GEJ for that lopsided admission criteria? This has been in existence before GEJ came to power, just that people are now asking more questions hence we are more privileged to get this information.

Politics › Re: Economic Standing Of The Igbo Populated States by Dreambeat: 12:21am On Dec 10, 2014
Curlieweed:
I don't know (or care) if Ikwerres are Igbos or not but it's regrettable that an adult from the SS doesn't understand why Rivers State was created. Even Asari, a proud Ijaw man understand's that your state was created for the same reason that the apartheid regime in South Africa created several "black homelands" or more accurately Bantustans, namely to divide the strength of the Eastern Region and thwart the aspirations of the Igbo.

That's also the reason I'm disappointed in my Igbo brothers who are busy insulting themselves over the Bantustans of Imo, Anambra, Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi arguing over arbitrary lines drawn on a map by greedy enemy soldiers. If I may ask Ikengawo, what makes Awo-Mmama different from any of the towns in southern Anambra, linguistically or culturally? I'm just disappointed in y'all.
Thank you very much for your analysis. For me I come from a town in Imo that has a common boundary with a town in Anambra,we have very similar dialect to an extent that when people from these respective towns speak, you hardly notice the difference.Someone somewhere will come to tell me that I am from Imo while this other town is in Anambra or expect me to quarrel with people from this town just because they are from 'Anambra' while I am from 'Imo'.What nonsense.I have said this several times on this forum,Igbos are one!Lets not allow these artificial boundaries divide us.Yes,sometimes brothers may disagree but let us not allow the resultant anger to go too far, to the detriment of our unity.

The more OBJ opens his mouth (or book),the more he loses his credibility and worsen his already battered image considering his ignominious years as the president of this country.

I am sure a lot of APC supporters have been following him sheepishly. The interview was an eye opener.Hope we get more of these interviews so that some of us can see beyond the corruption mantra.Maybe he could perform better than what we saw yesterday as time goes by.

Is it GEJ that has style? . I watched part of the interview and i score him a B. I have also watched him on the very difficult BBCHardtalk some years back when the western world was gaga about Obj, i scored him an A for taking on and answering tough questions with grace and courage.
He performed far better on BBC Hard Talk compared to what I saw yesterday.Perhaps the whole election stress is taking its toll on him undecided

How will you tackle insurgency?

Buhari :Hmmmmmmmm...............
Gowon did not borrow a kwobo for 30 months of the civil war.
How come they are asking for 1 billion to fight insurgency? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked sad sad angry angry angry

I mean what has that got to do with the question? huh
Even if Gowon did not borrow to execute the civil war,the question was how he would tackle the insurgency if he was in Jonathan's shoe. Why compare 1967 with 2014.Tell us what you would do in 2014 not 1967. undecided
