This is tragic. It was the rush, old women and men who were supposed to be watching on TV came for the rally and instead of them to respect their old age, they started pushing there way through with young people. GEJ was visibly shaken and sad, he went to UPTH to go and see the victims + dead bodies. The dinner at the state house was cancelled cos of this. Yes I agree with you thay the cost of running our government is too much, so maybe people here can complain about the other appointments but I think that of diaspora affairs is necesary. BTW, you know the way Nigerians behave if GEJ reduces the number of political appointments, they would be the first to cry about under representation of their people in his government. If we want to move forward as a country we must walk first or even crawl before flying, this is the reality about the kind of people we are.

Nigeria doesn't have a PDP problem, it has a leadership problem and all this political parties are the same if not worse than the PDP. I really don't understand this PDP hatred nairalanders have, the problem with Nigeria is not the party but the poLititians and mind you all the other political parties are llike the PDP, they are not better. Some polititins are doing great things for their people irrespective of their party (akpabio and fashola). Jonathan I beLieve would do the same. @topic, ithink its a good move to bring Atiku in for peace sake (aka no bomb blasts and boko haram/terrorist/whateveritistheyarecalled) but me don't think he should head the campaign team. i think i have a lot of problems with this movie.
