Good day everyone, update on Rex and Bailey
Rex is currently 1 year 9months
Bailey 1 year 5months
Bailey is currently heavy with pups, and expected to litter very soon, Rex remains the sire of the forthcoming pups

So It’s been a while since I updated this thread; happy new year everyone.
Bailey has lost serious weight and fur after weaning her pups....she really felt it, I would probably drop some pictures of her tomorrow then I can really get to observe her recover through comparing of pictures.
Below is an attachment of one of her pups who’s currently 3months and a week(this picture was taken weeks back)

My deepest condolences, I hope you and your husband is doing fine?

Are yours very aggressive? I'm torn between getting this breed or a gsd... What's your advise since you have one?

Yes they’re very territorial, I don’t have a a gsd to compare with a Caucasian but I would say a Caucasian has the built to deter strangers and doesn’t even need to show his aggressive side.
Both are great guard dog but I would pick a Caucasian anytime....
Another comment I get is “your dog is fat and can’t run” but to be honest you will be amazed at the speed a Caucasian parks when he perceives a threat.

So guys, I finally got a Caucasian_ honestly he wasn’t what I wanted, but the rest is history. Right now he’s 6 weeks old, so restless and active. Loves biting my legs/slippers and everyone else too.

Got him booster 10kg bag, some cans of pedigree, chicken heads etc. but noticed he loves pedigree the more.

Will need everyone of your contributions too.

The biting is cause he’s teething, he will eventually stop.. I think chicken head is dangerous for pups(bones generally) except you’re ready to watch him eat it.

Yes they did, the first week was really tough
She was extremely careless, I didn’t really know how to cater for young pups

I drowned one fading pup
One of the fading pup died without assistance
I was able to nurse one pup back to health but shortly after I took him to Bailey she laid on him and another healthy one

It was really exhausting

Bailey is fine although she has slim down so much she’s regaining herself, so 2 of the pups faded and she laid on 2 so only two is left.
Currently 3 weeks taking their little steps, crawling, barking and whining.
They behave so much like Rex actually

Update:
Bailey gave birth to a total of 10 pups

2 came out dead after my vet administered deworming injection

Can’t really tell if they were still birth or the injection took them out
