joshjc: In my opinion the late Coas wasn't given the proper respect, imagine a position as high as that no day was declared for national mourning, the worst of it was even appointing a replacement before announcing his death, may God grant him rest If you declare national mourning day for top leaders lost, do you know how many mourning days we will be having annually? To even think that people mourn their lost loved ones even makes the mourning days higher per year. Secondly, who is supposed to act in the capacity of the COAS when the then COAS was incapacitated? Instead of captcha tests on websites, it should be IQ tests. |

Because these Yeye men are out to attack you No emotional intelligence
In the minds of these NL men, whether na regret of married men or regrets of married women everything equals to the WOMAN responsible for the regret and they won’t hold back to spite the woman. Very nonsense set of disgusting gender here You people that take Nairaland so seriously, I feel for your mental health. |

MadamVanessa:

Marry who you're attracted to in all ways, desperation shouldn't push you to marry who's available and ready to do the needful. In a long run, you'll feel irritated and disgusted in whatever he does and nothing he does to please you will please you.
7 years now I have been out of marriage, and to be perfectly honest I have no regrets or whatsoever being a divorcee. This years of being alone has been the best years of my life. I am not going to say I inclined to celibacy these years, I do it, mainly to kill the urge but not emotionally attached to whoever is shagging.
To me, Marriage isn't worth it at all. It's simply overrated. I regret ever getting myself involved in this nonsense. I was probably naive then , I can't blame myself much. That's what happens when you marry for papers and not love. |

nedekid: Exactly, I said what your wrote few weeks ago and someone was yabbing me. 5m is less than $3k. 2 years ago, I bought PTA of $4000 for 1.67m ie $10k was way less than N5m! 9 years ago before this apc bandits came in, that 5m was closer to $33,000! You know, sometimes I wonder if Nigerians are normal human beings, why? How can people still support or vote for a party or person that inflicted such devastation on them? It is a case that deserves a PhD thesis. Anyway back to the story, no embassy will even consider you with 5m, ticket money has already copped almost half of that, how much will you then tell them you want to use for vacation(normal reason for visa) and how much will remain for you when your "return", omo, na instant refusal/denial. Even if they don't deny such person visa, how will such person live on the remnant of 5 million before finding work? As for the voting of incompetent leaders, we don't get to choose who rules over us. If you want to become the next president of Nigeria, if some political godfathers can agree, you will win the election. |

With the influx of questions like this, I strongly believe people underestimate the cost of japa. When they tell you people sell houses, land, valuable properties just to japa, do you think it's a fable? |

In our state you can't even allow one tribe to become a governor cuz he's from a particular tribe. Same with federal government. I wish God could wipe out the black people. They don't contribute anything to the world except problems, hate, tribalism, wickedness, black magic and troubles. I know if table was turned the black would kill white people like chickens cuz of their skin color. Imagine even in UK, USA etc blacks are running away from their fellow black. They even prefer white people 😂 Is tribalism a justification for racism? Is it every victim of racism that is a tribalist? Make una dey think o |

otipoju: To be honest, most people do not know how to answer visa interview questions properly...because many did not fill the forms themselves and used agents.
Nevertheless, the rate of denials is alarming. I had one of my boys denied a student visa in spite of him receiving a full tuition scholarship for a masters degree.
It will be worse in the coming years and application fees is good revenue for them...due to the desperation of many to leave.
Our leaders really did us bad with their gross mismanagement of the country.
It is well. Major reason for denial is that many cannot prove beyond reasonable doubt that they are coming back to their home country. Secondly, there are quotas on how many visas they want to give out. They will do everything possible to stay within the quota. Denying a fully funded applicant is rare. They person definitely did something wrong. |

hakeem4: equitorial guinea has a population less than 2 million people, so meaning if half the population are female so it means they have 950,000 ladies. lets now assume 40% of these ladies are above the age 18 which are adults so we have 380,000 adult female. lets assume 10% are disabled, amputees etc so we left with 342,000 ladies. lets assume that 30% of them are lesbians so it means they have 239400 ladies left. lets now imagine 20% of these ladies are in prison or psychiatrics home so we have 191520 ladies left. lets even assume that 50% of them are fat and very unattractive which gives us 95,000 ladies
so he slept with over 400 out of 95,000 grin grin grin that is 0.42% of the eligible and normal ladies I love how you think; like a management consultant. |

This man with his temper and the vehemence with which he threw those objects can murder her in the blink of an eye - if his hands happened to be round her throat, he would certainly have killed her. You can see she was moving back, cos she probably knows what he is capable of and this is surely not his first time. He obviously has his own fault. But I don't want us to neglect the fault of his wife too. Imagine losing your job because of a jealous wife. You will then be forced to depend on your savings and the jealous wife; every man's nightmare. |

He was not only physically abusive, he was also verbally abusive, calling her a bas-tard if she doesn't call. She was also the one that mentioned the children are present before he hushed them away. Violent man with no iota of self control that can't manage himself not to talk of his home, what if one of the objects he threw at her entered her eye and turned her blind? World people will still say she provoked him. So many sick people around that don't even know they are sick. How can anyone justify this?! Not justifying the man's action but why is she threatening his female colleague on LinkedIn? He was clearly telling her "do you want me to lose my job?" |

As an advocate of the walking away decision myself, I know a man can only walk away for so long. A time is coming when he will get tired of walking away from his provocative wife and the result will be what this woman in question faced, or more. |

What if the objects he threw blinded her eyes? Children, learn to protect your mother's from assault. Not her fault entirely if she stays. folake4u: When you're having conversations with your friends and it gets to a heated argument - is that how you react to provocation from your friends? Maturity has taken over, we don't throw fists. Now, this man was probably able to hit her because he knows she can't fight back. I have already condemned the man. But why will you as a woman, who is incapable of defending yourself from masculine physical attack, trigger a man's probable physical attack? The rationale is simple. Men, don't hit your wives; women, don't provoke your husbands to the point of hitting you. |

1Sharon: Notice how she ignored him & only wanted a 3rd party involved when she became threatened. Nigerian men have constantly asserted they beat their wives because she frustrated him. Here she's doing everything to get away from him, but he's not allowing her. Shiorrrr. Tell her to keep her mouth shut. She was most likely murmuring provocative words. If you understand their language, you'll know she was seriously accusing her husband of cheating. Verbal abuse has same effect on mental health as physical abuse. Women should learn to stop using their mouth to bring doom on themselves. That being said, all she has done is not an excuse for the man to beat her. I support the law to take its course on him. |

I was still a comrade then and the few people that were opportune to be at the gyration in Aso-rock were chiefesis and some old and very karid kegite members. Presently, the Governor Of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu(Aketi) is the chairman Kegite club board of trustees and he is a very active member of the club, when Akeredolu emerged as Governor of Ondo state, he invited the Kegite club for a victory gyration in his house. Current Governor of Ekiti state is a Kegite member also. One time president of Ghana is a kegite member, former president of Tanzania was a fellow of the Kegite club as well.
It is the ONLY Nigerian socio-cultural club with presence in East London University, Chandigarh University Punjab, USA, Tanzania University, etc.
I have met with High Net-worth Individuals who are kegite club members as well as Governors, Senators, Top directors of big corporations that are also very karid. I was in Eket 2 weeks ago and i was informed that there are Top Mobil staff and directors who will be ready to host me as a Chief of the kegite club.
I am a proud Archival CHIEF of the kegite club of Ilya Oronna, i was crowned a chief of kegite club 13years ago and i have never regretted the decision of joining the kegite club in the year 2000 as i have interacted with influential people in the society who are kegite members.

dominique: But almost every corner I turn I see women hustling; white collar jobs, blue collar jobs, hawking under the sun, selling in shops or in the market. Where are they keeping all the money they're making if men are the sole providers as they claim? A lot of homes are being held together by the efforts of the wife, some wives are the sole providers yet cover up for the husband by saying he's the one providing. Gow are they appreciated? Constant bickering, nagging and wailing by idiotic entitled men who believe women came to the world to please them. That's why I don't feel sorry for them anymore whenever they're given men's children as theirs, majority of them are useless and don't deserve any loyalty. Men are the sole providers because most men outearn their wives. This isn't to say women don't hustle and contribute. But can you compare the contribution of a contractor husband that earns millions in profit with his wife than earns 210k in salary? |
