Hi guys !

I have been preparing for the GRE exam all along, however, U dont ever seem prepared. What amount of preparation will be enough? Although I sometimes do pretty well in the quantitative but am still not pleased with my verbal. Just did Manhattan test and got Q162 V148. Am scared and still feel am not ready for the exam. What method can I apply to get better in the verbal section? I intend to write next month.

Do you 'accidentally' stumble on posts like this?
I'm guessing there's a forum with a plethora of similar requests where one can glean such valuable info.

I saw it on US student visa thread. But info such as this are usually advertised on School's websites. Sometimes supervisors post such on their web page - I have see that once. And if you have friends in schools you admire, they can put ears on the ground for you. A friend once got such offer for me in Canada two years ago, but I didn't take cos I didn't like the research area. Another friend didn't mind and he is there now rounding off.

I am looking for a student to pursue a PhD in Geology within the Department of Geosciences and Geological and Petroleum Engineering at Missouri Science and Technology. Research can focus on either (1) water-rock interactions in alluvial aquifers, or (2) the evolution of brines in petroleum-generating systems. The position comes with a research assistantship and full tuition waiver. The successful applicant should have prior research experience in the field and laboratory and must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
