what concerns tax clearance with pof tho . You can only move money legally from a company to you private account by way of profit, salary , drawings or loan from the business because it is a Separate entity from you. Loans and drawings are not accepted for pof . Is your accounting profit for the year up to the pof . Just go and do gift deed to avoid stories that touch. Lump sum is subjective and different visa officers will interpret it differently. To me it is unusual amount entering your account within the 6 month’s period. For example 100k enters into yours account monthly then in one month 600k or 1m enters. Thats not normal. Read page1 and ircc pof section

The question is - If a lump sum is deposited into your personal account from your business account, would there be any reason for the VO to request for proof that you actually own the business?. If this is requested, would tx clearance be one of the proofs requested for? - Some people would have to pay close to 2M in tx for this.

To your question, yes my proft is more than the POF i'll require but over 80% of this would come from my personal savings. On inflow, it is my personal business and i havent paid my self a salary since inception. I inject into the business instead. So a lump sum movement would seem out of the ordinary and i figure would raise a lot of questions. Just pre-empting really..

you only need to show all that evidence if you are claiming points with it . Since you are likely not, just state it in personal history after ITA, no documentation required

Following up on this question, if you have a registered business with CAC and all registration documents and you want to move some of the funds (profit) to your personal account for POF would it present an issue? Would you be asked for tax clearance certificate? Anyone with this experience in particular? Also, what amount qualifies as a bulk/lump sum that you would need to explain its origin for POF?

My first post here. This is my current set up and I’m thinking of upgrading the batteries. I have heard in the past that adding new batteries to a set up would mess the whole grid up and I don’t know how true this is. I am also looking at getting a lithium battery but I’m not sure if my kartel inverter would be compatible with it.

Please advise.

While I understand not being able to add your spouse, what’s stopping you from including your son in your application? Please include your son in your application.

He’s less than a month old and even though he’s captured as part of my family in my application I obviously won’t be able to take him with me. I have found a way around it though, so all good.

I'm researching an alternative though, but I am not a 100% clear yet on of it would work.

I know post AOR you can apply to add your spouse if your marital status changes, but is this the only condition? Can i add my spouse post AOR even if we were married before then? My spouse would have fulfilled some conditions that would still maintain my current CRS score mid next year. This way she can come with me as a PR.

What are your thoughts?

When you are a PR it is almost impossible to get TRVs for your family members. I just applied for my citizenship but my wife's spousal sponsorship has been pending since February 2022. Applications are done based on how IRCC feels about the individual application. So some are approved after few months, others are hanging forever. Your friend's is different from yours.

That’s rough, being away from your family for so long.
I understand every application is different but we won’t know until we try, besides applying for a visit visa wouldn’t affect a spousal sponsorship application. That’s the whole point of dual intent which is also conflicting by itself. It’s a lot of blurred lines to be honest but God dey.

How would they approve visit visas for them when you are a permanent resident? They would ask you to sponsor them instead. And acknowledge them now and select unaccompanied or something. Of course your POF must cover them and other things they need to do.

Why should they be averse to a visit visa though? You’re aware there is a “Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class sponsorship” for Canadians whose partners are in canada. Apparently processing time is a lot faster than when your partner is not in canada. A friend who is a PR is taking this route and already processing same for his wife.

get to Canada before applying for visit visa and or spousal sponsorship. Visit visa takes 6 months to 1 year for some. If you start when you get ppr then the visa officer may see what exactly you guys did.

6 month is a really long time. A friend of mine's partner got hers in less than 3 weeks but she applied from UK where she was a student. They were not even married at that point, she just had a brother in canada. Nigeria would always be different eh.

I need advice here. I have the pre-requisite 3+ years experience( 4 years) under NOC 3131 - Pharmacy which matches with my qualification. I have this experience from 4 different establishments and I reckon getting the letters of reference will be pretty stressful but still doable. On the other hand, I have another 5 years experience (more recent) in NOC 0911 -Manufacturing Manager in my current organization which doesn’t match with my degree.

I have only included my experience in NOC 3131 from 2015 to 2018. Will it pose any issues if I decide to include my experience in NOC 0911? Is it also an issue that I have not included a more recent experience in NOC 3131?
