If something like this is happening after 16years of PDP rule then I can say the north was right to vote out PDP. These people are so wicked that once they are in power they care less about those who voted them in. What is the joy in looting billions of dollars and people die of poverty and drinks same water with goats? How much will a community bore-hole cost this wicked outgoing PDP government? And some dumb Igbo guys will call GEJ their hero for been a sore election looser and accepting his loss. Will Mandela, Nkrumah or Even dictator Ghadafii sit and watch his people drink with goats?

EroticAngelina: sorry to be so negative, but I can't help but notice how this woman does whatever buhari says, even if its nt good. she's like his robot. where was she in 2011? why did buhari bring her out now(2015)? he doesn't know that her kind heart ness, beauty, brain and manner was part of what helped him win this election behind every successful man, there's a woman! if there's one thing he should learn from gej, its supporting women. we are in 2015, not 1989! women are human beings and should be respected. any man who does not respect women will never get my respect! one, more thing... the office of the first lady is in our constitution Mr buhari, don't start ruining dis opportunity bfor they swear u in on may.I just pity ur wife. if I were her, I would av divorced u a decade ago #NoTime4Rubbish if they tell you girls to be humble you wouldn't hid the advice look at the bolded up there and lose the opportunity of being the wife of a president and by the way except a woman wants to run for presidency, if not she has no business there how many time did you hear Obama' wife threatening that her husband must complete his eight years? The only woman that went as far was gbagboed into kirikiri |

President jonathan's conversation with buhari over the telephone isn't what should be publicized all over the internet. This is clear security breach and should be adequately adressed. and how is it our fault? he simply displayed weakness, that's why he failed, WEAKNESS, how can a sitting president's call conversation leak, and weak wer thinking Boko Haram wer too intelligent, if such a conversation could leak then wonder how insurgents were getting their intels, our president was busy squandering security votes and his phone line wasn't secure. |

SammyHoe: FOUR MAJOR REASONS WHY JONATHAN ACCEPTED DEFEAT EASILY
No Civilian President would have done lesser than what Jonathan does(Accepting defeat). All the other presidents who stuck to power in the past have military background, so Jona hasn't done anything spectacular and I don't think he has made any history contrary to the songs many people here are singing.
Now here are my reasons for saying he hasn't made any history:
1. There are international observers everywhere and any nonsense will get him Gbagboed into International prison because they have declared the election as FREE AND FAIR. Remember Charles Taylor, Laurent Gbagbo and Gaddafi. They are all soldiers who are not scared a bit of prison or death, that's why they never stopped fighting. But for GEJ, he is not strong; a civillian like you and I, not ready to languish in prison. Obama himself made allusion to Nigeria election a day before it held, so that is enough to send some sensation of fear into the spine of any African president who has no military background. Jona himself has been made to sign peace treaty twice and also interviewed internationally and made to vow that their would be a credible election.
2. The earlier he agrees with Buhari, the better for him because no matter what he does, BUHARI is ready to suck him dry of the national wealth he has amassed for himself over the years and possibly dump him in prison. You will remember his wife shouting that she wasn't ready to feed her husband in prison. Jonathan is not a strong person at heart, so you should expect him to be scared of prison, unlike the likes of Buhari, Obj and other military converts. So, calling Buhari on phone isn't a big deal at all, since that would be the last appeal he could do so that his punishment could be lessened. With this, by the time Buhari start crying out loud that Jonathan has done this and that, we the gullible Nigerians will start calling Buhari a wicked man and saying "upon how Jona called this man on phone, yet he is still exposing him that way." That is what we call APPEAL TO PITY(Fallacy)
3. With JEGA's intellectually calm and astute response to Mr Odubebe's bei bei bei, the whole world has already judged the man as a very shrewd and unbiased man, so I don't see any court case or rejection of the election result standing at all. Surely, Jega will defend himself and win in all cases. Also, everyone knows that Jona would have made many advances to Jega in attempts to bribe him; surely JEGA will reveal those advances in court and the story would be 'no story at all.'
4. Jona had to act this way(you all know he is a Nollywood actor) just to buy the apathy of many gullible Nigerians (especially the 'prophet says' and the 'Jona is a gentleman' type). He hasn't done anything well for the past six years, so by gently walking away, he wants to use that to gain last-minute popularity. Well, good luck to him but I ain't buying his ideas. while I was reading your comment I saw another me, you wrote my mind that's what I tell people jona hasn't done anything historical he's only saving his own skin, and trying to buy cheap pity for himself and a little more political relevance. |

Well said but the country is not likely to change if the leaders don't do anything about it for instance, while asari was threatening from the south South, Jonathan never cautioned him, instead he had a sense of. They wer fighting for him being the brother but if jona had, shunned those militants, he would have gathered more votes from the ordinary Nigerians.. . And the ethical sentiment would have reduced. Now buhari has to work on that him self. |

barcanista: It is a shame that what we witnessed on Saturday was show of ethnic superiority going by the voting pattern. I commend the non igbos/SS that stood by Jonathan beyond ethnic sentiment. But I must point that it will amount to deceit if we think we are united as a people. I am glad I belong to Jonathan's camp though tribal affiliation wasn't my primary purpose. I commend my Igbo Cousins worldwide along with all those that didn't vote along ethnic line irrespective of who they vote for. Everyone to his conscience anyway.
To Asari, I say Senibor please cool down, the struggle for our emancipation as a people(ND and Igbos) has just began. We don't need to spill blood but can take through the diplomatic route. The most important is that our interests are protected as a people and region. We shouldn't take to open confrontration with any ethnic group. More than ever before, we shall remain to advance the course of the Niger Delta and Igbo Struggle in the most noble way available. God bless Niger Delta and the Igbo Nation. God bless All Nigerians.
PDP will bounce back in 2019... Up GEJ I say Thunderbolt fire you and your brethren for this comment "I commend my Igbo Cousins worldwide" since when did we become your cousins?
