aumeehn: I have observed something among polygamist and that is "Selfishness and self centeredness, the posts above confirmed it. Everyone is talking about Himself, they will be competing to take care of you, competing to do this do that for YOU! Everything is all about YOU! But let me remind you, while they are competing to please you, Your children are also competing for favors from you. Some will live with hatred for their step moms and step brothers until they die. They will hate you and destroy your legacy. In this 21st century polygamy is not worth it.
At Old age none of them will look your way because each an every woman in that house will work towards the progress of her own children and once that goal has been achieved, oboy forget it even the children will careless about you.
I have a friend who was born into a family of 28, their father passed away late last year, and as i am typing this, their father's room is occupied by a tenant, they sold everything including the family house. Sometimes its not all about you, think about the future of your children. Well said my man,,,na this simple message I dey try pass |

MrBrownJay1: i mean you have to look at all angles.... and all setups. - is it better to have concubines and step kids that live under the same roof and know one another as "brothers" OR kids that dont know each other and from babymamas that biitching/fighting and brainwash kids against father/step brotha? - financially, is it better to take care of one household, one set of bills, one family setting instead of paying for two or more home setup?! - emotionally, it would be better to face your issues and fix them on the spot than let them brew undercover til it explodes one day... as there will be hatred and commotion whether you live with women in one house or have different houses. I no comprehend all boss but I feel its better a Man Sticks to one wife,, I still have not seen any advantage of polygamy,,if as a married man,ur conjified,,,man can go to unilag pick any olosho there and buy condom I stand wit one man one wife, one man one vote |

They wouldn't see the roads he has built and the things he has done and commend him for that. if abia government serious they should find way to fix d negative view people have bout abia as the worst state in west Africa |

EzekielMab: Chai. Wisdom.
This man stated it as it is.
Let me share my little experience...
I bought the "Watermelon/snake oil car" in December 2019.
Okay, I saw this car on jiji and decided to go and check it out. I went with a mechanic to Ibadan on Sunday. 8th December 2019.
On getting there, we inspected and I kept asking the mechanic if anything was wrong. The fool kept saying only tyre.
I asked him severally, he kept on his word. I paid sha.
Driving the car to Lagos sha. Car started going off in traffic. He kept saying it's a small issue.
We got down to Lagos and expenses started on this car.
From guys that changed the lights, to 4-tyres, windscreen had a small crack. Spent 200k there oh. I won die. Car wey I never use make money. They all sucked me
Conclusion: They knew the car was faulty , but still keep lieing to me, in order to make money from me
Guess what!!!! The engine was bad. Sold it off at a loss sha.
That was when I knew that there were too many greedy folks in 9ja. Only after their pocket haha haha haha |

onatisi: This lockdown lockdown they are shouting all over will eventually end in chaos . It is absolutely insane to lockdown ppl in their houses for 2 weeks without providing them any food and expect them not to react. Even the countries that started this lockdown method didn't do it this way, they are providing daily food to everyone and during the lockdown, they are going into every house testing everyone. We are just telling ppl to lockdown , we are not testing them to know who and who is infected? What the fg should have done is to close all schools ,give workers both state and federal workers 4 weeks break with double pay, ask all non essential private business to close for the same period , this will automatically reduce movement by 50% , give food markets 8hrs period to open every day. And establish testing centers in all wards and local government areas ,.TESTING IS THE KEY TO DEFEATING CORONA VIRUS NOT LOCKDOWN . the more you get ppl tested, the more you will understand and know what to do. Everything about naija dey so !5th century |

sentra05: Good thinking!Because emergency services did not save some people in London, then not having them in Nigeria is no big deal since anybody who will die will die. For your info, God has given man all it takes to make her world a better place so it is now left to man to use their brain. You downplay the role of working health care in the UK but the number 1 man in Nigeria, the president will disagree with you because they are the one keeping him alive today. Your last paragraph is why Nigeria and a lot of other African countries are shithole. The only thing that ever matters to us as a people is money, money and more money. The leaders know this and this is why they loot and bring part of the money on election eve to share to the people and win election. Because they the know the people don't care about the good roads, the state of healthcare, the state of education, whether there is electricity or not etc. after all who will die will die and people die even in western world where there the systems are working.
With money in our pocket, we do not care about any other thing else. After all, if road no good,we buy SUV to drive over it, if light no dey, we buy big gen at least fuel still dey for filling station, if armed robber invade our house, we don't need to call 911, we just go on our knees and start praying to God, if hospitals are ill equipped, that one no be problem, we travel abroad to get treated and for those who can't afford it, it is not a problem after all who will die will die.
No wonder! i used to wonder why our leaders who travel abroad all the time cannot replicate what they see here in Nigeria but with this mentality it is now clear that they don't even value what they see. What this means is that our greatest impediment to progress is our mentality as a people as it is clear that a clear majority of the people including those who live abroad don't value good things but only value what comes into their pockets. This is to say that the state of Nigeria today is no big deal and it can remain like this till eternity as long as we are smiling to the bank. Bravo!Good thinking! . After reading this the small little hope wey I be get don vanish . Even with additional 500 years this shot hole is doomed |
