NanaF: Tell him the agent won’t help him do ielts or write TEF or diploma or masters for additional points. @ the bolded, process which documents exactly.
Is it to fill express entry profile he needs agent for? The express entry process is well designed to be a DIY process. Don’t get scammed sha. I really wonder why people use agents. You will suffer to gather documents like I did and yet you will give someone 1.3million to compress and combine pdf...chai! |

KunleSteel: I selected Yes
Then I was sent this via mail: To confirm your eligibility, please send us a copy of one of the following documents: A. An IRCC request to complete medical examination (Not the upfront medical form) OR B. Passport request letter OR C. Visa pick-up letter OR D. Canadian visa OR E. Invitation letter from the High Commission of Canada in Ghana OR F. Positive eligibility assessment letter OR G. Confirmation of permanent residence letter
Please note that we will only be accepting the documents stated above and originals only . Kindly forward the documents for yourself and your spouse /partner as well, if they will be attending.
And I replied in this manner: Thank you for the feedback.
What I have presently is the Acknowledgement of Receipt letter after submitting my application (I have done Medicals and made payment). Please find attached.
I hope it will suffice.
Thereafter, I was sent available dates to choose from. Where did you see your UCI? |

KunleSteel: Yes it is possible. I used my AOR to register for the session.
It doesn't matter. You can land anywhere if you are not going through PNP.
I'm open to correction if I'm wrong. At what point do are we supposed to get UCI after submitting our application? |

Is it possible for me to register for planning for Canada when post AOR. If yes, what document can I use? And does it matter that I chose Ontario in post ITA and then changing my mind to Saskatchewan later. I am not a PNP candidate. |

Chicagomum: Dear EOR applicants,
I applied for my EOR last December. Took 7 weeks to get a reply today. They just asked me to go to the Abuja office to pick my result. Does this mean the result did not change cos there was no refund form.
Those that applied and got upgrades please what was your EOR result notification email like?
Thank you. Same mail. You won't know the outcome until you pick it up. God's grace as you receive your upgrade |

Blooit004: #ECA #UploadORnot
So, I noticed today a couple of our good-hearted and well-meaning members have commented on a post stating that ECA is NOT required to be uploaded in an application post-ITA since it does state so, anywhere.
I have attached a screenshot of the page, where it specifically mentions that it needs to be uploaded.
Also, there have been several cases of application rejection right at the R10 stage, because ECA was not uploaded.
If you err, then always do so on the safe side.
Please upload the copy of your ECA along with your educational credentials, degrees, transcripts/marksheets, and IELTS report. But why would someone not upload ECA? If not for anything, the stress in obtaining it. |

joo2018: That might not be clear o.
The min. CIC recommends is 96dpi (see here).
Why don't you use 300dpi colored and then compress the pdf? There are tons of pdf compressors online. Thank you |

I have come again o! Please I need your advice on POF. Spouse provided 100% funds. 50% was transferred into my account last year which I put into a fixed deposit. Now the other 50% was transferred into my account. I would like to fix the money in the same bank as before but this will be a top-up and there will be a new effective date. I want tmy application to show that I had some money before and not just before I submitted my application. I am so confused. Do I go ahead and fix in one bank?(makes the application simpler) or do I fix the other 50% in another bank? We plan to show spouse's SOA in order to explain the source of funds and also show the transfer to me then add a letter of explanation. |

joo2018: Some more musings. For a single PA, the effort is 1 unit and the return is 1 permanent resident. The efficiency is then 1. For a family of 2 (PA and spouse), the effort is 2 units and the return is 2 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 1. For a family of 3 (PA, spouse and 1 child), the effort is 2 units and the return is 3 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 3/2 = 1.5. For a family of 4 (PA, spouse and 2 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 4 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 4/2 = 2. For a family of 5 (PA, spouse and 3 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 5 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 5/2 = 2.5.
So from a logistic point of view, it makes sense for such a target driven organization to prioritize applications that will bring the best returns. I think this is true. A friend of mine just received PPR. AOR November 28 PPR January 25 Family of 4 |

Happy Sunday all. I am the PA in my family application. Our POF will be provided by spouse. Because of this we have decided to provide letter of employment for him in order to avoid ADR later on. Now my questions are:
1. Must the letter be in CIC format? What if the job description isn't included? Will that pose a problem?
2. On another matter, my FD certificate shows an address in which I lived in more than 10years ago. Should I go to the bank to change the address to my current address? Or leave as it is? Thank you. |
