I have been having a constant rough idle(RPM fluctuates on its own) on my Honda Civic 07 since the throttle body was cleaned. Will changing the throttle body fix this or are there other things I should look out for?

Advise your mechanic that when he's cleaning the throttle body be should not manually depress the throttle body. Make sure someone depresses the accelerator pedal to open the throttle body so that the cleaning spray can go in properly . And be weary that after cleaning your throttle body the car's rpm at idle will increase but not to worry . The car's computer will gradually readjust the rpm. Hope I'm making sense.

I've cleaned my throttle body before and I directed my mechanic on what to do. Thank God for the internet.

Very easy in both manual and auto.. Press the accelerator gently and engage gear. Fuel economy is top notch at that rpm 2-2.5

bros eh my car was converted from VW JETTA 2002 2.8L VR6 EFI to a GOLF 4 2.0L
so sending the VIN will not be practical in this regard what other ways can you get the information you seek
