I didn't agree earlier with the submission thing. But, from my recent findings, if it's SnapNet that got the test contract. Then no two ways about it, the "Submit" button is necessary to make/save your test successfully. For benefit of doubt, on DPR website uses Submit button in all openings, without clicking such button u will have ur details intact(i.e save pages) but is invalid till Submit button is clicked. On their site, u will notice words in red color, which "submit/submission" is a/the key word.

To be sincere with u, have u seen/read/heard where federal agencies shortlist twice? It may sound bad but truth be told.

don't mind those arguing unnecessarily, may be this is there first cbt,even IOC's the system is programmed to automatically submit test when time ellapsed not to talk of a public sector like dpr.you think in the name of cutting doen the size of candidate they may be so heartless to invite people from far and near just to fail them after a 45min exams cos the did not click submit botton,have you asked your self why do the emphasize so much on the save botton?

I did not agree with them earlier but now there's an iota of truth in their statement. DPR may not tell on that. Why am now buying their quotes is: Why set same test for both EH & GT irrespective of roles applied? In the same day & the same time? I still dey reason am. Do remember an official kept reminding us at ACE Center, to click on "Submit" when done. Though, in programming that assumption/concept could be "True or False," depending on each Programmer.

From my observation going by the test all sat for. I guess there will be two stages for interview. 1. Role Specification Interview. 2. Managerial/Human-Resource Interview. I guess that's what they will adopt next. For Managerial Interview, always use the STAR method. Note, it's a maximum of 5-6 questions per candidate during each interviews. That's my thought, though.

Yeah, am talking about d same recruitment. I didn't click submit at all and I was regretted after 24days. A friend of mine who clicked submit in the three sections was also regretted.

I don't think shell adopted what u are saying. The instruction shell gave was to ensure u attempt all the questions in the stipulated time. The test administrator would always give u the instruction to click submit in cases whereby not doing so results in scoring zero

I'm talking abt the recent shell recruitment which i also sat for. We believed(though may be wrong), that many got regret mail because many failed to meet the submit buttons of 2 out of 3 timed tests. Going by the numerous regret mail sent, a clause tried to signal the said observation. Though, no one can really say how shell was/is going abt it.

@Perooo2017, I know u stylishly quoted me on last paragraph. But I put it to U dat this is the 1st CBT u sat for after graduating. Nevertheless, We r talking about Job employment & not School's CBT records. They are two different exercises. U do not know there are some high job recruitment that its CBT deduct marks from each question ticked/answered wrongly? Oh! Now u know. Just as in EH & GT are job openings but are of different recruiting styles/processes. Pls, don't compare ur School's CBTs with Job CBTs cos we also sat for School CBTs. Thanks & gudnite!

Oga Ade hold on first. If while u are applying for a brass-ring, say GE position online, where u have to fill forms then hit the 'Save and Continue' button as u keeping filling the different segments of the application until u finally reach the Tab where u have the 'Submit' button then the network suddenly goes bad or ur phone goes off, will u assume or not that the applicaton has been submitted, even when u are 'COCK' sure u didnt hit the button?

U are kind of right cos Shell adopted such, but it also differs from recruiting agencies.

1425 is the total profit b4 the 10 percent deduction. So u r to work with 1425 to add back the 10 percent deducted. I the question Now is Wat is the value of 10 percent?

I got the question too when I wrote on Wednesday but mine was 5% instead of 10%. Though, I can't recall but when I solved to arrive answer with $142.5 or so. Still can't remember. But, wow people can cram the questions, they dey try.

That is simple, mine was difficult. To tackle that kind of question. Take letter D as Dolls, W as Windows, B as Bottles, are/is as =. St.1. All dolls are windows(D=W). St.2 All bottles are windows(B=W). So if asked what Some bottles(B) are... Knowing that B=W, & D=W => W=D. That means, Some Bottles are Dolls(B=D). Thank me later, gave u tips incase u meet it anywhere in the world.

Yes, it will submit automatically but ur chances to get the next stage might be reduced. That's 0.1 in 1. For example, U are a Nuclear Physicist, & got a Bomb in a Recreational Centre to detonate the Bomb before 45 mins, & u see the Timer reading in Red, so U will allow the bomb to explode? If it does, it will kill lots of people including urself(God Forbid). So, u need to work on "Accuracy & Speed." Hope U get the Scenario now?

From my observation, u won't get the score but will be sent a mail inviting u for the next stage or a mail regretting one from the next stage. Scores could raise issues, u gat 2 know that. For the next stage selection, could be maximum of two weeks from now. It's only God can see us through, be it u wrote well or not.

Oh I see... So u come from North & u clamour for "Federal Character" because it's now OCs recruitment. Mind how you reply people, & learn good manners. U said if I needed Biafra & still went for DPR. Yes! It's in our Land & also our Resources they regulate, therefore We(Biafrans, esp Graduates) are entitled to it. Also, go read about Scotland under Britain, so is Biafra under Nigeria. Maybe then, u may understand me better.

Another fact I noticed about recent recruitment. That the CBT is used to identify One's "Accuracy together with Speed." They believe that a promising candidate must be accurate & fast. Hence, expected to submit Test within 4 mins minimum - 8 mins maximum before the scheduled time ends. That if u get right answers(accuracy) & submit within 4-8 mins(speed), u can adapt. It's believed that only Robots, or guessed answers, or test being leaked, can finish above 9 mins. Those who set it, knew the stipulated time for Humans not Robots. Also, finishing as time ends or below 3 mins signal "no speed." So, need to work on speed. Pls, don't be discouraged by my fact. It's just my observation, I may be wrong.

I used Biafra in the context, as per Eastern Nigeria(including, parts of Edo or so-called Niger Delta) before 1967. Was it not during the war, Gowon divided Eastern Nigeria into 12 States just to create "chaos" among us, which we are having today? Nigeria was almagamated(that is to say two seperate entities /Northern ~ Biafra/ were joined together) in 1914, just for the purpose of feeding the North(Nigeria) from the South(Biafra).

For those saying... Be known to u that u are competing urself with ur role counterparts regardless of federal character. So, u are telling us that if 3 persons applied for a role, two got above average & the other below pass, & there are only 2 slots. Where the two who passed are 4rm Biafran Land, whereas the 1 below pass is from the North. So, because of federal character, 1 among the 2 passed candidates should be dropped? Oh! I see..

Sorry it may sound really bad but "yes" you should. My immediate elder brother who applied the same day with me & he's qualified but wasn't shortlisted. His status still shows " pending-successful submission." Yet, he has moved on. Though, I don't know the fault but DPR may not shortlist again cos of numerous shortlisted applicants. Check previous threads on OCs & IOCs, they do not re-shortlist. Same goes for Governmental Agencies. Though, I may be wrong.

Am presently at ACE centre port Harcourt with other applicants only to be told port Harcourt has being closed. But we hear the exams are still going in Abuja, lagos and kaduna.....
We are going to their office at moscow road to stage a peaceful protest.

I already told you guys on previous pages that it might only hold from 24th-27th, some of you doubted me. To be smart no be say pesin sabi english dey speak. I noticed this when I saw persons of 28th, 29th, being back-dated. Then, I knew it will end this way. Hope & pray they resolve this issue, there's still hope.
