mine keeps saying gprs inactive. i've not seen the gprs logo on my phone still.

is it a gsm line? what are the tariffs like, and is it different from the usual starcomms we know?

Tell us what's good make we know. All I can see is that Celtel doesn't offer any value added service that is more valuable than other GSM service providers, so why charge higher? By the time Mubadala and Transcorp start trying to grab market share, it will be at the expense of Celtel which will gradually get relegated to the back seat of GSM in Nigeria if they don't wake up and realize that prices need to be changed.

where do you want to find that USB wire to link both of them?
Such connections aren't possible, unless you're ready to use your devices as guinea pigs.

psp and N73 will not work because N73 doesn't have wi-fi.

i notice that the settings on the 608i are greyed out so you can't edit or add a gprs profile

p910 is better because it.ps symbian, got touch screen, huge screen for full screen videos & movies, qwerty keyboard, better music player & sound. p910 is way better than 6230

The hot-spot is a place that has available wireless access. Sometimes it's free and sometimes you need to register and pay. if your phone is wireless enabled, go to somewhere like allen avenue and search for available Wlan networks, I'm sure you'll get like 3 or 4 free ones to browse. The range is usually short.

@cushman, I can confirm that the line is now active and I also was able to load recharge card unto it. The only thing is that there's no GPRS service available. Either I havn't been provisioned or the service is not available at my end. @jobman, is the GPRS service available at Ojodu area in Lagos? Hoping to hear from you bro, thanks for the wonderful job man, I really appreciate it.

how about my lines that have been deactivated? i try to call 170 and keep hearing a chinese woman's voice telling me that my telephone charges are overdue. i try to recharge and it tells me i'm not a prepaid subscriber. @jobman, can i post the numbers so u help me check it out?

how much does Mtel line sell for currently? seems no one is buying it nowadays since i dont even have any Mtel contact on my phone.

@Jobman, I have 2 Mtel lines that have been blocked, I can't even load recharge card on them. What do I do about them?

The 70k per kb is on glo prepaid.

Glo postpaid offers unlimited GPRS like MTN for 12k per month too.

I know what I'm saying man. On a good day, I download over 200Mb daily with 2 celtel SIM cards on 2 seperate computers with the aid of DAP which speeds up the downloads.

I just popped in my 2 Mtel SIM cards only to find out that they have been blocked. I have not used them for like 6 months now, that means I have to look for new ones to buy.

only one out of my 3 celtel lines is browsing for now. celtel disabled the other two.
