That's true..but they are creative ways of securing convictions despite the prevailing political atmosphere.

It's not enough for president Buhari to say the judiciary are the main problem.
I bet you EFCC is complicit in the way and manner most of these top shots win their cases.
If I had told you two years back, Lamorde was stealing recovered money, most of you will doubt it.

I have a strong theory, after the show EFCC puts up for Nigerians by parading this guys in cuffs during the day, at night, both set of lawyers meet and get 'settlement' and then turn around to blame judges.
A judge will not convict based on circumstantial evidence...this is a criminal case not a civil case.

1.dariye
1.orji uzor
3.Ibori
4. Ladoja
5.audu
6.Fani kayode
7.lucky
8.Tinubu
9.Abdullahi adamu of nasarawa
10.el rufai as bpe director general

Of the top of my head, these are ten cases. The Nigeria state could not secure convictions. The coincidence is too much to just blame judges
Right. But again, we all know our judges are anything but last hope for the common man and the state.

Please sir how much money did Buhari invest in the power sector so far?
From which budget?
From the EMPTY treasury that he met?
If the answer is NOTHING as in ZERO, then to whom do we attribute the RUMOURED increase in power generation?

I hope you can reason like someone who has his brain intact that it has not been swept out by the APCshit broom of witches, because it makes zombies of previously Nigerian humanoids. grin grin
I hope.

Already the prosecution team is presenting evidence that does not meet the standards of the evidence act.

Don't be surprised if Metuh walks free.

How can an organization as critical as EFCC keep on employing lawyers that are substandard?

Keyamo made so much noise and he could not secure high profile convictions
For almost ten years now, Chief Rotimi Jacobs has been prosecuting EFCC cases. I don't know how many top dogs he has successfully prosecuted.
Efcc should get the best defense attorneys and pay them the going rate this criminals pay to get out of jail.
You have a point. However, where the judiciary is not corrupt, corruption cases against the state and national interest will almost always be won by the state, not by the criminals irrespective of how brilliant their lawyers are.

When you see known wailers viewing this kind of thread and passing without commenting, then you know that they feel saddened by the good news.

Why will some people just decide to be sadistic just because of election loss? Why will news that should naturally make sane persons happy cause sadness if not that something is genetically wrong with them?

grin cheesy

Great!

Congrats to patriotic citizens who understood that the Ineffectual Buffoon was not an option in the last election. If not, Nigeria would have been put up for sale as we speak.

Watch wailers and IPODs come here to shout "propaganda" as if they've been permanently programmed to be deaf, dumb and daft at the same time.

It is for people like you they release such lies.
The budget has not become a living document. Part of t y e reasons the NASS exists is to perform oversight functions on the budget so that unwanted and unnecessary allocations are removed.

So, don't die before death comes knocking.

So, Buhari will always be preferred over and above the Ineffectual Buffoon any day and at anytime.

Wrong and misleading heading.

The president's words
Nigeria’s military has updated its “rules of engagement in fighting terrorism” and that care is being taken in “the treatment of captured terrorists
So, where is "we will use minimum force on terrorists"?

Wailers/IPODs lack comprehension sense I swear.

Politics › Re: Has Metuh Finally Been Silenced By Buhari's Administration? by DropShot: 8:43am On Feb 03, 2016
Metuh lacks any moral qualification to criticize the govt of the day. Same with the Ineffectual Buffoon, FFK (the man with mouth diarrhea), Dokpesi, and all those in PDP who helped to create the mess we find ourselves in.

Btw, Metuh already knows he cannot come out of his case without bagging jail term.

And where has FFK been since all these days?

Rossikk:
He did not run Zimbabwe aground. He saved Zimbabwe from eternal slavery to minority whites. Zimbabweans now own and cultivate their land, unlike the situation before, when a few whites cornered everything for themselves, and the blacks had to rent small, unfertile parcels of land from them to farm. Mugabe put a halt to all that. How many Africans owned land in Europe? he asked. The west imposed harsh economic sanctions on Zimbabwe for what they claimed was Mugabe's breach of the whites' 'human rights'. Zimbabwe suffered greatly from the sanctions but is now recovering slowly, with China an important ally. Most importantly, the people now own the land. Mugabe is an African hero of the first order.
He's in the same league with murdered Gadafi of Libya. Today, Libyans are openly and silently regretting falling for the West lies to topple and kill Gadafi. Libya can NEVER know peace again.

The height of fo0lishness
Buhari and his family are safe from the contamination of this stewpid act.
The poor fishermen, farmers and the people of the surrounding communities will bear the brunt of the contamination.
The most annoying thing is that they will still come back and ask the oil company to clean the spill while still expecting the company to be alive to its social responsibilities.
The most unfortunate thing is the terrorists have supporters even on this forum.

May they never stop their senseless bombings. Whichever way, Nigeria will run, governance won't stop.
