mikeansy:
Nigeria is in trouble.

How does a Nation make progress when its people have no clue what is right for the country.

I doubt if a man who oversaw the tranformation of Abuja into the beauty it is really wants to see our country fail.

I find it amazing that people still accuse El-Rufai of 32Billion even after Babalola has confirmed that the money was actually in FCT account after El-Rufai left office. This is exactly why journalist report anything they like. Because they know that when they report a scandal it sticks, but when the report is rebutted people don't take note.

The message is very clear, the people are very gullible. If you tell them that Ibori, Turaki, Kalu, Odili, Alamesigha, Tinubu, Yerima are actually Elder Statemen while Ribadu and El-Rufai are the true thieves, they will agree so long as it is Printed on Thisday, Tribune, Vanguard, the Sun.
People wont even try to draw a link between the owners of this newspaper and what their interests are in these issues.

All I can say is sorry for Nigeria. There is truly no hope in sight.
the best thing i have read in a long time!!!

its going to be typical amoudu, hustle d first few minutes, because he has told d boiz not to mess up (his only strategy),then break down, its now up to the players prowess!!, which wont last long!

siasia showed nigerians the power of strategy and team work, now, nigerians wont go less!(unless, your name is sani lulu and you work in a glass house)

CultureRe: What Do You Hate About Your Culture? by drossy(m): 7:29pm On Apr 01, 2009
The culture of greed, bribery and corruption is what I hate the most in Nigeria
Evil has permeated the fabrics of the nation that the line between good and bad is blurred.
Criminals and looting politicians are celebrated and highly esteemed even though everyone knows they got their wealth by illegal means.

I hate the culture of rudeness and lack of customer service
Everone seems angry and frustrated and ready to vent their spleen on innocent people

I hate the culture of using the Lords name in vain
Evil men pretending to be men of God while fleecing people of their meagre resources

I hate the culture of low expectation
The average Nigerian thinks he deoesn't deserve much from the elected officials and so we don't hold them accountable

I hate the culture of lawlessness and selfishness.
where individuals are constantly thinking of how to swindle the next man for quick bucks

I hate the culture of asheworism that has turned our young girls into pop corn begging whores
some with the parent's passive consent,
,
, THE BEST THING I HAVE HEARD IN YEARS!!!!

SportsRe: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by drossy(m): 9:39pm On Mar 29, 2009
number 1, kick sauron off this post,
number 2, there isnt much difference between domenech and amoudu, they both suck!!!!
number 3, a good coach needs just decent players who are fit to excel,we have above decent players, they have some measure of fitness, we just dont have the coach, how many nigerian coaches will use a midfield of sani kaita and ajilore and survive a an argentine midfield(forget its under 23,it still has mascherano ,messi and relquime, and bare loose 1-0??)
give siasia this team, pleeeaaassseee

SportsRe: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by drossy(m): 3:38pm On Mar 29, 2009
the mozzies are so good we had to use 3 defensive midfielders!! HAHAHAH
SportsRe: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by drossy(m): 3:01pm On Mar 29, 2009
pple talk of us not having passion!
have you ever gone on a mission without a plan and back up plan?? thats enough to drive out the passion in you!  shittu looks good because of the aimless high balls the mozzies are playing, if they sit down to pull a string of passes, our captain will have  a second yellow, straight!!

our olympic team did not have mikel, but they had a perfect strategy that battled a midfield that had mascherano, riquelme and drove messi to the midfield to pick balls, dats coaching!!
SportsRe: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by drossy(m): 2:55pm On Mar 29, 2009
if the mozambicans were better at the final third of the pitch, the match would have been concluded!
they have not too good players but team work is perfect(evidence of good coaching!)
they will probably not keep up thier tactical discipline and organisation at the back for too long and we'll sneak in a goal and the ''paid press men will sing amoudu's praises!
our tactical organisation is zero! wen are we going to stop depending on players ingenuity instaed  of a well laid out  strategy to win!!

PoliticsRe: Senators, Representatives And Academic Qualifications. by drossy(m): 7:47am On Mar 06, 2009
thank GOD for poeple like davidif, as i was reading the thread, the trend was getting me scared on hearing the verdict on the importance of education! poeple talk about paying too much importance on paper qualification( a term i think is almost exclusive to nigeria), they fail to realise some things, in the west the basic and minimum level of education someone is believed to have attained is high sch, high school abroad is not high school in nigeria.here in the us, high school kids(even with the so-called high drop out rate) would have recieved an exceptionally high level of "analytical education, the type that helps him analyse, research and solve simple problems around him, a basic tool u need to be a steven spielberg without a phd and a drop out bill gates(pple forget that his SAT scores were one of the highest in the country and that his parents were above middle class-so he could drop out!) and helps u contribute in adult discussios and pple open thier mouths wide, ! can our high schools boast of that!
abroad, education and experience go hand in hand, pple are brought from the industry to teach, successful pple in the industry that do not neccessary have "formal education" are studied and the principles of thier success are incorporated into the next academic syllabuss, all these are done to bring the total graduate,
when all these factors are lacking in the academic system,it is easy for some pple in this forum to scream that paper education is over-rated because they do not even know what they are missing and secondly the leaders who have reduced the educational standing to this abysmall level will never want to attribute quality education to good governance!, if indeed they were proud of thier "degrees" why would dey feel insultedhuhhuh?
PoliticsRe: Fg Finally Removes Subsidy On Petrol by drossy(m): 3:50am On Mar 02, 2009
from the MASSIVE EDUCATION i have recieved from this forum, it seems most poeple feels it is better for the president to sit in his office and hike up prices and hope it becomes unprofitable for smugglers while nigerians feel the pain than to just grab d bull by the horn and tackle smuggling, at least reducing it!!!! GOD SAVE US!!!
PoliticsRe: Fg Finally Removes Subsidy On Petrol by drossy(m): 7:53pm On Mar 01, 2009
the point is this, d govt will always release statistics when it favours dem! all govts of the world will always cushion its citizens in one way or the order! when fares were hiked previously, we were told its because of the black markerters and lots of pther crap, now we are being told that a cabal enjoys subsidy benefits and they must break it. what happened to the good old art of investigating, garthering info and charging to court, if indeed the cabal isnt just you! this is just EVIL!!!!
