If you ask me, none of them

The problem with Nigerian leaders is the way they run the economy. All of them ran the economy this way: they sold raw materials, whose prices they did not control, and used the revenue to import stuff at a value higher than the cost of the revenues from exports.

Yes, even during the first republic, all the regions ran economies based on exporting raw materials, and importing stuff.

Somewhere along the line, we never developed a productive ethos.

Yeah, none of them really worth.

but the one who still try than others is;

Musa Yar'adua

Romance / Electrifying Facts About Kissing You Probably Don't Know. by DrPurple(m): 11:42am On Sep 28, 2019
Sharing a kiss is no doubt the simplest way to
engage with your partner and express that giddy
feeling of butterflies they give you.

Of course, itā€™s such a normal thing that we donā€™t
even bat an eye anymore when we do it, or see it.

But like anything else, thereā€™s more beneath the
surface about kissing, like health benefits, origins
of etymology, and the science of kissing.

Kissing uses more muscles than you think.

In total, one kiss uses 146 muscles working
together.

You may think the majority of those are
in your face, but actually 112 of those are
postural muscles, and the remainder 34 is various
facial muscles.

Even so, the muscle used the most in a kiss is
the muscle around your mouth of course, called
the orbicularis oris.

How did researchers find out something like this?
Well, they studied couples kissing underneath an
MRI scanner. Imagine that experiment!

The world record for the longest kiss.

There is a Guinness World Record for the longest-
lasting kiss, and itā€™s insanely high!

Thai couple, Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat held
a kiss for 58 hours, 35 minutes, and 58 seconds
without a break. If thatā€™s not a symbol of love, I
donā€™t know what is!

To emphasize this impressive feat even more, the
average person spends two weeks of their life
kissing ā€“ about 20,160 minutes in total.

I imagine the total amount of time kissing by this
record breaking Thai couple must be even higher!

Thereā€™s actually health benefits to kissing.

When you lock lips, your mouth produces extra
saliva which helps clean your mouth and prevent
tooth decay!

Although keep in mind, that one kiss can carry up
to 80 million new bacteria, which may be a turn
off if youā€™re a germophobe.

Rest assured, research implies that this bacteria
swapping and sharing microbes is good for you
and boosts your immune system.

Worried about your complexion? Kissing can also
minimize dermatitis and blemishes on your skin.

Kiss-a-phobia is a real fear.

Afraid to have your first kiss? Many people are
nervous at first, which is normal! But there is a
phobia for pretty much everything, and kissing is
no exception.

The fear of kissing is officially known as
philemaphobia which makes sense, because the
Greek word for kissing is ā€œphilemaā€.

Of course, this can occur not only in young
people, but lovers of all ages.

Sometimes it may not get better unless you seek
therapy!

Which way do you lean?

While your reaction to kissing feels like a natural
response, for the most part, our kissing style can
be traced back to when we were still in our
mommaā€™s stomach!

The majority of people will tilt their head to the
right when they kiss.

This may seem like a socialized trait, but it
actually goes back even further.

The theory goes, is that we lean to the right
because when we were in the womb, we naturally
tilted our heads to the right.

The next time you lean in for a smooch, keep in
mind that two-thirds of people will lean to the
right, although there may be the occasional left-
tilter, so watch out for head bumps!

There is a science behind kissingā€¦

If you want to follow a career in kissing, you can!

The study of kissing is called philematology,

while the person who studies kissing is called an
osculologist.

Now thatā€™s a mouthful!

If you choose to pursue this study, youā€™ll learn
deeper about things like how many calories a kiss
burns (3 per minute), or that lips are like
snowflakes in that no two lip impressions are the
same!

Education / This 14 Interesting Facts About Farts Will Amaze You. by DrPurple(m): 9:03am On Jul 03, 2019
Farting is just as natural as yawning or blinking. Itā€™s
a bodily function we canā€™t control and itā€™s
something we canā€™t avoid.

Factually talking about flatulence, thereā€™s many an
interesting little things to learn. From the speed of
a fart, to why they smell, and just what exactly
theyā€™re made of, you can read all about it here with
these fourteen fart-tastic facts!

1. 99% of a fart is odorless.
Only 1% of a fart is made of hydrogen sulphide,
the stuff that smells extremely bad. The other 99%
is non-smelling stuff like carbon dioxide, hydrogen,
nitrogen, oxygen and methane.

2. In Britain, they sometimes call a fart a ā€œTrumpā€.
Yup, thatā€™s right, President Fart. Thereā€™s many a
colloquialism for farting, and many more national ā€“
and even regional ā€“ variations around the world.
One such is the British slang ā€˜Trump,ā€ which why
youā€™ll catch your British friends chuckling when you
mention the President by name.

3. Vegetarians fart more than carnivores.
Well, for the most part anyway. Generally speaking,
vegetarians tend to eat more beans than their
meat-eating counterparts. Beans contain
carbohydrates made of molecules too large for
absorption into the small intestine during
digestion. Because of this, they pass into the large
intestine still intact which increases certain bacteria
to break them down, producing large amounts of
hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide gas.

4. Although vegetarians may fart more, meat-eatersā€™
farts smell worse.
Due to the increased sulphur in meat, more
hydrogen sulphide is created during digestion when
meat is broken down.

5. In 2014, a study was conducted by a Flatologist
Dr. Michael Levitt, M.D, which found that women
produce more hydrogen sulphide during digestion
and as a result their farts smell worse.
Sorry ladies, you might be the winners of fart
etiquette, but youā€™re the losers of this one!

6. The worldā€™s oldest joke is a fart joke.
Toilet humor is global ā€“ it doesnā€™t matter what
language you speak when weā€™re all unified in our
bodily functions, but apparently fart jokes are also
timeless as well as universal. The oldest known
joke in history is a Sumerian proverb that dates
back to 1900 BC that says ā€œSomething which has
never occurred since time immemorial; a young
woman did not fart in her husbandā€™s lap.ā€ What a
classic.

7. Farts can be highly flammable.
This is due to the fact that thereā€™s methane and
hydrogen in your farts, both of which are
flammable and can be ignited. But donā€™t worry, you
canā€™t explode by lighting one.

8. Farts are faster than hoverboards.
A fart speeds out of you at 3.05 meters a second,
thatā€™s 7 miles per hour. So they might be faster
than hoverboards, but the jury is still out on
whether or not theyā€™re more flammable!

9. Your butt can tell the difference between a fart
and a poop.
The tactile nerve endings in a personā€™s rectum can
distinguish the difference in sensation caused by
each. However, there is one exception: the runs!
This is due to the liquid consistency which
confuses your poor nerve endings.

10. Although it can be uncomfortable, holding in farts
isnā€™t lethal.
Youā€™re not going to just puff up like big balloon
then explode!

11. The average person farts roughly between 14 ā€“
22 times a day.
Thatā€™s 98 ā€“ 154 times a week, 392 ā€“ 616 times a
month and 5,110 ā€“ 8,030 times a year!

12. Itā€™s impossible to go through life without farting.
Even if you were to hold them in all day every day,
whilst you sleep your bodyā€™s natural functions will
take over.

13. In 2014, 65 year old French artist and inventor
Christian Poincheval created some pills from
100% natural ingredients that aid digestion and
make your farts smell like roses or chocolate .
Talk about coming up roses!

14. The scientific term for a fart, ā€œflatulenceā€, is
derived from the Latin ā€œflatusā€, which means
ā€œblowingā€ and ā€œwindā€.
