frozen70:You seem to know the answer to your question.. than why bother us with question that you have answer to ........ Go to nearest fuel station and get it .. simple as 123 and they are over 10,000 fuel station you can go to and get what you need ..... |
Jaysharp:It seems you were trying to reach out to me. Below is email. Send me a mail with your WhatsApp number dru23@hotmail.com |
Jaysharp:If it is still shorten oil.. it means the engine is on its last leg.. this is why we encourage people to always follow owners manual at all times.. . Even if person wan use thicker oil, 10w30 to 10w40 would have been more appropriate ......... When you are experiencing now is the vast result of using 20w50. The affect might not be right away ,but with due time it will show its face ....... You have to now sit down and make some choices.. you either sell off the car or continue using it.. but once smoke start coming from tail pipe. It will be hard to sell the car ... |
immortalcrown:The guy was not making sense. When he stated that some poor leaving abroad are more comfortable than rich people in Nigeria... He should come and define to me his definition of rich Nigeria... That is my point.. |
immortalcrown:can you explain definition of rich in Nigeria.. it can be subjective.. If na Dangote, Davido, burnaboy rich etc .. I don't think those rich type will envy anyone leaving abroad. I don't know how poor people abroad will leave more comfortable than them .. Some people abroad are leaving more comfortable than rich people in Nigeria.. your definition of rich seems to be subjective... |
Estyfort:Baba.... It is well with you. Plz use this small cash buy better data

goadson82:This is the realist sh#t have heard today.. nobody and nobody has a monopoly on violence .... Fair game indeed..... |
aieromon:Spoke to my customers that own Mobil 1 station in Lagos .They said make I load am bring am come. They said people they ask about it... Since Mobil 1 Nigeria no dey make am. He figured Mobil 1 USA no get am .. So hopefully we can take Total energy market shares that is the only reliable source thats makes it . We can take it from them. Na so business dey .. were there is a demand they will be always a supply We move...... We will not sell to any nairaland customers self. It will be off limits... Am going to make it exclusive only to my whole sales Mobil customers... I feel very under appreciated on this forum...... I talk am with my full chest.. |
aieromon:Again I don't support 20w50 especially if the manufacturer does not call for it . Since fellow Nigerians don't wan hear word not to use It... Wetin make I do ? |
aieromon:Don't get me wrong.. I still don't support support the use 20w50 especially if it is not recommended by the manufacturer.......... If 20w50 users switch over to 15w50 they can save money. While 15w50 is good for 10k miles, and 20w50 users will need to change every 2,500k...... 15w50 will save you at least 20k Naira Current prize of 20w50 = 24k Naira most change every 2,500k Current price 15w50 67k change every 10k miles Currant price of. 15w0= 67k Naira |
calculation:15w50 rans better at cold temperature than 20w50. But 15w50 and 20w50 rans equally at higher temperature.... 15w50 offers the same protection as 20w50 ,but you save money and time by using 15w50 20w50 will need to change more often at every 3k miles or less. While 15w50 can be change at every 10k miles.. I will advise every 7k For the 20w50 fantastics . This is for you .. we are here to save you money and time.... Compare the cost and decide..... |
2cribz:We should encourage people to always use genuine engine oil follow owners manual at all times An engine flush can be beneficial for maintaining a healthy engine, but it's not universally recommended, especially for older, high-mileage engines. Engine flushes can help remove sludge and deposits, potentially improving performance, fuel efficiency, and overall engine life. However, in older engines, the flush might dislodge existing sludge, potentially blocking oil passages or exposing worn seals. |
2cribz:The Camry is a 4-cylinder well known factory defect. There is nothing that can save that engine fixing the piston or not,the car na my money pit regardless of rebuilt...... Since the 4 cylinder are factory defect the best is to either avoid them at all costs, and if you have to use them go for heavier oil like 10w30 or 10w40 but not 20w50. |
charliechyke:Bro sorry, those 4-cylinder engine from 2006 to 2010 are factory defects engine. And there is nothing you can do to fix it. Only option is to manage by using thicker oil. Depending on how u want do am. Either sell it or use thicker oil until you get money to buy another car.. The truth of the matter is we don't know how the previous owner maintained the car. Open the engine bay and. Check for sludge. Pray sludge no dey . Those 4-cylinder are money pits |
charliechyke:Previous owner abuse the car and reason the owner sold the car. Those v6 no dey spoil like the 4-cylinder.. |
charliechyke:Than na v6 engine you get . Very reliable and strong and fuel economy is good . If there are no leaks on ground, the oil is burning from somewhere . Am sure the previous owner was using 20w50. Have a mechanic open up the engine bay for sludge. Also check the pcv valves. Have a mechanic check. It might need replacement. Most mechanic don't know how to check. Mostly over look when looking for oil leak ... I can't do everything here bro . So take time Google and search for Pc valve of your car. So if it is dirty and have it replaced. Better to change and get brand new .. If it is clogged or dirty it will be hard for engine to breath .. And if all fails sell the car, replacement engine or use thicker oil. Thicker oil just helps prolong the inevitable ... |
Jaysharp:Your mechanic might be rite. It could be the engine seat. |
charliechyke:Are you sure it is not 2AZ -Fe . Because they are know to burn oil from 2006 to 2010 . Factory defects.. double check..... Worse comes to worse u have to use 20w50 until you start see blue smoke from tail pipe . Better yet sell it |
Jaysharp:That car has been abused by the previous owner more than likely using 20w50. It is too thick for the engine, by you reverting to the manufacturer recommended 5w20 is too late ,due to weak oil seal by 20w50... You have few options here ....... 1. Start using 20w50 and observe from there. If you notice blue smoke coming from the tail pipe, the engine is on its last leg... 2. Sell the car and count your losses 3. Go look for a tokunbo engine Grade A if you can find one. And if you do make sure you use the recommended oil 5w20. |
House please is the any demand for 15w50. Am thinking of bringing it in dru23@hotmail.com |
Iyenogie30:Only on special request. I have customer that will request for it and pay before it arrives. Customers usually order 3 to 4 . That will last them at least a 1yr |
