The need for speed .. fun but very dangerous. The best way to appreciate this vehicle is on the highway..... Once I get to around 65mph . The i VTEC engine is screaming push harder. The most have done is 100mph. It was dangerously fun ........ Also with the Civic especially the EX model. It comes with lane watch camera. So if you are making a left turn to shows blind spot...... And also you can switch it on for the remaining part of your trip to see what is going on behind you.. It will come in handy in Lagos traffic

codemaster2much: you use to use Infiniti car brand Very much o. I prefer the driving comfort level of Infiniti to Honda... The Infiniti is much higher from the ground and easy to get out of the car .... The 2016 Honda Civic is too low to the ground. It is like driving a sport car. It is much fun to drive than the Infiniti. Keep in mind my Infiniti is the G25x not the G35 or G37. So not that fast..... |

sultaan: Right now we see 31.7 mpg.
When it gets to Nigeria let us see if it makes 20mpg on nnpc fuel I didn't reset my trip. The last time I reset my trip I got 35mpg. 90% of my driving is high way and I usually do roughly 65 to 75mph . Most people are using Dangote fuel now. They should be ok ....... I go soon post the full update pic this week. |

delaw4u: Pls people who use kia sorento should come up and give advice on the type of engine oil to service the vehicle This engine oil matter nawao ...... Your car is supposed to be using 5w30.. Am out of Mobil 1 ... I have Castrol oil Extended Performance 65k. I import from my USA based.. The most important with engine oil is that it meets car manufacturer specifications... USA made Castrol exceeds those speficiation... The problem with Nigeria is that most products are either fake or adulterated. Original are hard to find. Hit me up at dru23@hotmail.com with your WhatsApp number and we go from there

delaw4u: bought the car myself from USA
2 I believe the coastal oil from USA and I dd I used it for my Highlander before
3 no oil leak at all its a Belgium direct bought direct from USA myself I think you might have a bigger problem. If the oil is leaking on the ground at least it can be trace somewhere. And you are 100% sure the engine oil original.... The oil is leaking through the worn out pistons. And through the PC valves. If the PC valves is worn out it needs to be replaced. It is hard to recommend a good mechanic to check all these things. And I don't want to advice you to use a thicker oil . A thinker oil will burn more slower, but na death sentence on the long run . For the sake of trying ask the Mechanic to check the things I mentioned. Have them check oil seal . Mechanic will need to open up the engine Conclusion: if the mechanic can't seem to find the problem or have solution. Most times the solution they will offer you is to use thicker oil like 20w50 . thicker oil will burn slower but you have to change oil every 3k Miles it will end up killing the engine in the long. And when you do find the solution to your oil leak , it will be too late coz of the thickness of 20w50. The best solution is Mobil 1 10w40 . It is mainly use for older engine . It will be burn much slower and the engine will last longer than using 20w50. And you won't have to change oil more frequently like the 20w50. And you also easily revert to the recommended oil once you solve the oil leak . Am talking from experience. I used to ran cars on Uber and similar issues. And that is how I got into the importation of engine oil business.. Le me know as things progress. Good luck 🤞 |

delaw4u: Good evening guru in the house Please I need help on 2017 Kia sorento I need the info about the correct info on the engine oil to use here in naija soil Have service the engine with coastal engine oil 5w30 but it dry off from the engine without reaching the 3000 miles set on the car. Pls any help on the engine oil that will be better pls. Thank you all. Few questions I need to know.... 1. is the car a Nigerian used? If it is you need to ask the previous owner what type of engine oil they used... 2. By any chance did you see any oil leak on ground were the car is parked. Check for leaks around the engine area and on the ground 3. There are lots of fake engine oil in the market now. There are more fakes than original. Coastal oil is a no no for me. You are driving a 2017 car and using engine oil that you don't know the source or coz is cheap. You are not ready to be a car owner.. Once you answer the questions above I can than proceed from there |

Pearl1910: U can charge ur EV in ur house. Naija no too bad as u think again. Some people are on Band A with up to 20hrs light daily. Many people have solar inverters installed at home now. If u choose to buy an EV then it's only wise to make a way to charge ur vehicle. The fast charge system is also cheap to install. And even if u have to set up a solar powered charging system, it's worth the investment.
The only challenge is that repairs will be pricey, but the repairs are very very few and can be non-existent.
Let me remind u again, there is nothing in the hood for mechanic to fix in an EV. What will take u to mechanic is suspension parts and panel beater for body. The problem Hybrid has is not present in EV because that combustion part is absent. EVs are a major upgrade on hybrids, think of it like Nokia phones and Android. Or Android OS 3 and Android OS 13. Ur hybrid car can't drive from mainland to Island (20km) solely on batteries but EVs are designed to run for hundreds of kilometers, so don't compare them. Although, Hybrids are good on their own and I will still recommend them for commercial use any day, when the problems come I will find d solution to it.
What must sha change is this huge cost of fueling everyday. If u really sit down and begin to imagine how huge this is, u will also adopt it.
I remember when we moved from contact set to injector this was still d excuse for adoption to change. Where will u see mechanic that will fix injector? When automatic flooded the market, where will u see mechanic that will fix automatic gear. How will u push ur car and start when battery die... Many many excuses. Whether u change or not, people are changing and finding solutions to their problems as they come up. The most important thing is d reason for the change : is it for efficiency, is it for better, is it for ease, is it for cheaper... If the reason is genuine and true then water will find its level. The fact is that the cost of managing it is cheaper than the cost of not having it. Unless someone can invalidate this, then no excuse is tenable. Enjoy your EV baba |

Pearl1910: It's a sinking fund bros... That's not even up for argument. If I make 120k daily and spend 30k fuel to make it. I am never getting my 30k back. It's gone forever because my profit is not 120k but 90k. That 30k is gone forever. Tomorrow I will spend another 30k on fuel again. Now imagine u can drive and make 120k without spending 30k on fuel***guy, d thought of that alone is what is gingering me. The only discourage here is the high initial capital. If I can get this car on installment payment then I will dive in. Afteral HP for Naija used Corolla now is about 7-8m.
Information is key bro. It's just a matter of time, u can see Lagride has EVs in its fleet now, some other companies are entering the industry. There is an EV charging point by Sterling Bank on Adeola Odeku by Idowu martins. How do u know companies haven't adopted it yet? Someone just said he knows a company running EV fleet for taxi. I have seen many EVs on d road, and some cars are EV but u will not know cos it doesn't have d regular robot design.
There are many things that affect the decision of companies, many companies now don't even want to own official cars, they use Bolt and Uber for all office admin, marketing and logistics runnings, they hire other companies for their supply chains. If u were on Bolt management u would have discouraged them from doing Bolt Business that nobody will patronize them cos it's cheaper to have company car and move around. But today even banks are making the "foolish" decision of using Bolt Business. I carried a First Bank logistics guy from First bank Motorways, 7up Tollgate to First bank Adetokunbi Ademola, VI. The guy said they don't have fleet cars again in d bank. All their waka even to collect one sheet of paper from island to VI is on Bolt. He said in a day he does at least 6 return trips, he was lamenting that he wished d bank can just pay him half of that money and tell him to find a way to deliver all those parcels. That they had cars before but management vex and sold them off cos drivers were taking advantage and defrauding the bank.
Get information and run with it, don't be static in "this is d way u have been doing it so that's d way it will always be". Don't say why are they not buying EVs or who will buy toks EV for $7k. That's myopic, think about what will work for u and do it, dont say why are others not doing it. Sincerely, the only reason I haven't done CNG is because I still feel what wasn't designed by the manufacturer shouldn't be installed. I don't even put those white halogen lights in my cars cos I feel the wattage wasn't accounted for in d fuse and sensors when the car was designed. All these talk EV is DOA .........The USA that has more steady electricity than Nigeria ,is yet to fully embrace EV because the infrastructure is not there yet.,... And na Nigeria wan go into EV . Your government can barely provide 24hrs electricity. Thereby putting the cart before the 🐴........ Hybrid cars now that can both run on electric and gas is more acceptable now plus hybrid that runs on battery and gas is currently. These are more acceptable for now until EV technology is as good and fast as pumping fuel at station......... Nigeria mechanics that can barely fix fuel power cars or hybrid cars with batteries na them wan repair EV cars .......... And 99% of EV cars imported into Nigeria will not even pass international safety test. Nigeria will now become a dumping ground For now make you na manage internal combustion engine cars. After all Dangote didn't built his $20 billion refinery to collect dust . And plus he has been reducing petrol prices down And most importantly all those charging stations in Lagos and outside las las na vandalism go close that chapter... I come in Peace....

Magnetic010: Did i borrow money from Nigerian politician?..If not that you are just looking for how to insult someone the proper example would have been have foreign leaders have control over our Nigerian leaders because they are always running over there to borrow money....It is not about indivdual self sufficiency but rather the Nation.Don't know if you understand the difference between micro and macro economics...When they say Nigeria owes china this amount of money, did you borrow money from china? of course not, but your government did so that makes you indebted to china My point here is Trump and his Rogues didn't have to talk down to Zelensky like that. All Trump wanted to do is for Zelensky to sign the deal without any form of security guarantee. Zelensky can't just sign the future of his people away for nothing. Also keep in mind during Trump first term. Trump wanted Zelensky to implicate Biden son Hunter Biden in the corruption case. Which Zelensky decline to do. So for Trump this is pay back . All Trump is doing is extortion which will benefit him behind the scenes.. Please don't tell me that Trump is just trying to collect all the billions that was given to Ukraine back by the mineral deal . The USA has given Israel billions of dollars in grants and aid . Yes we can agree that Urkraine has been given more than any other countries. Why don't Trump ask Israel to give back the money etc...... Just because you are helping me does not mean that you now own me. All Zelensky was saying was the obvious fact. I keep saying this USA politics has turned to 3rd world politics. Trump is behaving like an African president. |

Juju70: to all those calling zely foolish i have this to say for the record. you have never been in a position that requires responsibility! those guys would have parked him under the bus if he signed that document, they just wanted him to sign and discredit him so he will resign! there would have been chaos. whether you like it or not WW3 will happen whether now tomorrow or whenever! do you think people are acquiring weapons to decorate their warehouse things are happening and you in Africa are left far behind! there is going to be a second conference where dem go divide africa again! how prepared are Africans and their leaders to safeguard themselves! Africa still has the resources and you can see how wickedly vigorous they are going after ukraine and greenland. if e happen today say dem recolonize africa are we prepared to defend ourselves?? Africa are we prepared ??abi una think say e no fit happen?? You have my respect....... I was glad that Zelensky didn't sign it . I thought he was going to sign it. But he came to dialogue with them and reason with them.. He stated over and over again he can't sign anything that does not guarantee Ukraine security. Trump stated he can't guarantee Ukraine security.. When u look at it they way they spoke to Zelensky like a child. It was embarrassing to watch. He stood his ground. This is like mafia shake down . The USA has gone to the dogs..... |

BondRiv: You're just a zombie who watched a segment on CNN. You can't give what you don't have. I'm not surprised your empty head can't fathom or generate a simple analysis of this situation. You watched a meeting, without understanding anything. Asides that, you failed to appreciate the power dynamics between the parties and the context in which they were meeting.
It is my understanding that the uncouth Zelensky was coached by European allies to act out this way, having analysed certain variables and series of events. How does any sensible person in such a position behave as Zelensky did? He has certainly been known to use drugs though. The constant interruptions, contemptuous head shakes and abrupt dismissal of the statements of Trump, sometimes mid-sentence. His flagrant combativeness and confrontational approach. Basically challenging Trump in the Oval office, throwing caution, common sense, diplomacy and even intelligence to the wind.
A man whose country the U.S. is trying to help. He was in absolutely no position to do what he did and he did it to the wrong people. The very country he is heavily dependent on. He is about to find out what a big mistake he made.
