A lot of bible prophecy, is faulty based on people having no understanding of the fact, that the Jews get the fulfillment of their promises after the resurrection.

Doctrines that are errors based on not understanding this:

1. The 70th week is future.
2. There shall be a third evil temple built by Jews.
3. Jesus shall rule some earthly millenial kingdom, that has sinners and believers living in it.
4. Jews shall be preachers during this future 70th week.
5. The great evil economic system is future rather than present.
6. Jesus comes back twice for believers.
7. Sinners shall survive the tribulation, the great tribulation and be in the Millenial Kingdom.

In reality:

1. The 70th week is past.
2. The third evil temple is Apostate Christians.
3. No sinners shall be in Jesus Kingdom.
4. The 70th week is past, so of course there will be no need for Jewish preachers.
5. The great evil economic system is present, not future.
6. Jesus comes back once for believers, who are either raptured or resurrected.
7. Sinners do not survive God's wrath, they are destroyed and they do not enter nor are they born in the Millenial Kingdom.

If not for the erroneous belief that Jews get their promises fulfilled during this age, most of these beliefs would not have been invented.

For me christian cults can be defined by secret beliefs and interpretations, that they withhold from the general public.

Christian Religions tend to hold beliefs that people are open and honest about, no matter how insane and unbiblical the beliefs or interpretations.

I do not use any substances except those endorsed and allowed by the Federal Drug Administration.

I have been spiritually attacked.

Once when a witch was riding my back, I watched helpless as someone who was in my house at the time came and told me to renounce Jesus Christ and when I refused the person got on my back and began to stab me in the back and neck.

Somebody told me to fight, so I began to call on Jesus and cast the demon out in Jesus name.

I woke up. The pain in my back and neck was so intense that I could not move for 20 minutes. I just sat there on the side of my bed trying to recover.

This is how God taught me about how spiritual things do have an effect on your health because that pain was unreal, I could not believe that I was awake and still feeling the pain of 'the witch riding my back'.

The witch riding your back -- is what African Americans call sleep paralysis.

There are only 3 persons mentioned in this scripture.

1. Ye who see
2. Daniel the prophet
3. Whoso readeth

You are turning the event "abomination of desolation" into a "4th person" in this scripture.

Yet there is no scriptural justification for believing that "abomination of desolation" is anything other than an event as the scripture and language shows.

The "abomination of desolation" is not a person.

I beg you again to look at the text in Matthew 24:15. The exact words used in that text are -

οταν ουν ιδητε το βδελυγμα της ερημωσεως το ρηθεν δια δανιηλ του προφητου SBεστως TAεστος εν τοπω αγιω ο αναγινωσκων νοειτω.

Notice the two words emboldened in red - (a) βδελυγμα = (bdelugma) - detestation, specifically idolatory.

(b) ερημωσεως = (erēmōsis) - despoliation, pillaging, spoiling.

The word used for 'abomination' in that verse is not ειδωλολάτρης (eidōlolatrēs) but βδελυγμα (bdelugma), and the latter is used in Greek to express something 'detestable' and specifically idolatory (See a Greek NT lexicon or Strong's Exhaustive Concordance or Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries).

You are missing my point entirely because I agree with you on the word being: bdelugma and referring to idolatry. What I am pointing out to you is that people are called -- idolators, not idolatry. Idolatry refers to the actions of idolators. [/b]If the verse wanted to point to a person, then it would not have used the word for [b]idolatry.

Malik, the words "abomination of desolation" [size=16pt]do not[/size] refer to any person. Neither Jesus or the Anti-Christ.

This is where a lot of commentators and Bible students get confused, because they understand that the context would not point to Jesus as "the abomination," and then they wonder if actually Daniel 9:27 was referring to Jesus in the first place. It is clear that those who say that Jesus was the one referred to in Matt. 24:15 are in fact calling Him "the abomination!" Does that make any sense according to the context?

We do not have to believe that the words abomination of desolation refer to any person. Since the plain languages of the bible teaches that it is an EVENT not a person.

Come now the book was written in 1972. This is the exact same time that African Americans were first given Classical African Studies departments at Univerisity's.

We have learned a lot more about our situtation since Walter Rodney wrote his book.

Unfortunately, Mr. Rodney is not here to share in the new knowledge.

He would have without question have contributed greatly to Afrocentricism and been the biggest promoter of it, if he had ever learned about it.
