You should know that the both profession suffers the mess in our health care sector. So what ever affects nursing practice in Nigeria as a result of bad governance might likely affect the pharmacy practice as well. Poor governance, poor regulations which leads to infiltration of quacks puts the health care sector in shambles .

Nursing is a good profession with widescope of practice and evolving trends as well Pharmacy . But honestly if you are business oriented and would like to work quickly in the private sector u can study pharmacy. Both nurses and pharmacists are respected abroad.

What I use in consoling myself many a time in this forum is that well " it's quite unfortunate that most people have misconceptions about Islam and Image of Islam have been sold badly to them by Islamic skeptics " but I still believe there a few persons that will always check up issues on both sides before passing there own personal mouthwatering allegation on individuals and group because of sentiment.
I am a religious scholar of comparative religion and that has helped me in knowing much about major world religious teachings and I will never condemn the act of any religion so longer as its part of their religious doctrine to practice it even though I am a Muslim.
I think Nairalanders we should stop the habit of insulting religious groups or ethnic tribe when sensitive issue or topics are posted rather than offer reasonable solutions to mend our differences for the benefit of everybody. Thank you

I expect to see rational and reasonable comments not a war words amongs ourselves simply becos we are in a faceless forum, we should all learn to respect each others faith and try to judge issues and affairs rational using our intellectual abilities. Now from my own observations;
1: it's a ploy of the western media to blackmail islam allover the world; reasons being that
A. Its an open secret that most of these Muslim country's are the richest and they need political invasion to achieve "oil"
B. If the world is in peace they need not to sell their weapons which they produce and supply
C. They ( USA ) need to have the loyalist in power in almost all the richest countries in the world to achieve thier political aim.
They use all these strategies to achieve their aims and at the end they call Muslims Fundamentalist, Extremist, Terrorist .The biggest terrorist in the world is George Bush, Tony Blair and the likes , for killing thousands of Iraqi children because of one man , Osama Bin Laded whom they Bred.
You can can have personal problems with Muslims and abuse them and their parent but not their God or Religion ( to some extent ) .
Pls nairalanders let's try and reason to issues from underground and to put personal feelings to this issue.

University of Port Harcourt .. Pharmacy here is headed by a 'no nonsense' dean Prof Udeala .The academic policies are ;
100l passmark is 40% and a student must not fail any course ( exception of one 2 unit Ges course) .
200l and above passmark is 50% and a student must not fail more than 3 courses, a student who fails the course(s) will be given the chance to RESIT the exams.
Any student who fails to meet up with the policies will have to REPEAT the session and a student must not REPEAT more than twice.

It's unfortunate that this poster has no indepth knowledge about Islam.  All over the world go and search to know more about terrorism and see how westerners use the name of Islam to terrorize oil rich Muslim countries and blackmailing our religion Islam . Boko haram fight is far from being religious it is purely political ( one who fights to control state power) and they are sponsored by politicians and not any religion.  Read surah maid ah 5 vs 32.   Islam prohibits the killing of innocent human beings . Now even the Americans are complaining about the foreign policy of the us govt in invading other rich countries and causing problems through there oppositions whereas they also have their problems to solve unemployment and economic meltdown and they are there supporting fights instead of seeking dialogue as a means of conflict resolution .  Simply becos they are the world leaders . I heard rumors last time that the us wants to send their troops to help Nigeria in fighting Boko haram. That's their conspiracy . Even the Nigerian govt knew about .

' the punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this , that they should be murdered or crucified or their Hands and their feet be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned ; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world , and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,'
   Am a scholar of comparative religion, there is no religion that support the killing of innocent human beings and leader of this religion which is Islam ! Its unfortunate that some people fail to distinguish between war and peace ,  religion and politics, as media report afiasychosis  and islamaphobia amongs billions of people worldwide . 
       The govt should always do justice to it citizenry so that peace can reign , those boko haram fight is not religious to my understanding though it has religious root but never religious. Purely political

People should please try to differenciate religion and politics , fight for freedom and Justice , and especially to those islamic critics , But its saddening to know how the US govt carryout their foreign policy on wealthy islamic countries and labelled against islamic groups through the western media , but no matter what they do to blackmail islam as terrorism , islam is still the religion of peace !

Ayima tanks 4 dat kindid assistance, i was offered admission to poly by jamb, but wen i rechecked my status in unical site, they said u have no admission. My jamb score is 263, putme 340 dat medicine. I dnt know whether if u ve checked urs thru unical site recently to si ur status
