RoyPCain: ^God is Perfect. humans [creation] are not. There is no way perfect will err. you seem to be using perfection [perfect] very loosely. Now I got your points and I'd deducted a vital point I wanted to know, but seriously your last two sentences were quite tricky. From that statements of yours, you will see that what you will do by free will(unwritten) becomes what you've done(written). This shows there's no DESTINY, you responsible for whatever you become. So, the only part I agreed with you is (we are destiny either to go heaven or hell). |
obayaya: this interviewer is a very shallow human being.. I was expecting to hear the most important question of them all.May God bless you, in a normal society, a person like Gowon shouldn't be seen as ICON let alone talking about affairs of our dear country. Nigeria should DISINTEGRATE or go back to REGIONALISM. This kind of Federalism is notting but impediment to development. What do we expect from a federal state where local-govts are useless or lack constitutional power? A country where FG takes more than 50% of allocation revenue? A country where money is senselessly giving to law-makers who're barely know in their various constituency? Etc. @debeey87, you need more education and enlightement, or better still get out of your cave and see what they called good leaders in the developed societies. |

I agreed with 'tpia@', and that was why I said 'we all know only God and his works are perfect. For instance, when something bad happen to people(believers), they will still say it's will of God or he did it for a purpose. Dear RoyPcain, the fact that I called your explaination immaterials doesn't mean I disregards/discredit the Holy Quran, infact I can say the same to any immaterials view from the Bible too. You directed your explaination solely toward heaven and hell, that was why I called it immaterial. Perhaps I should put it this way;do destiny varies? Has it been written that whatever we wiil be, we will be irrespective of whether we work hard or pray hard to earn it? |
Very good (which is what the verse says) is different from perfect. Just wanted to mention that.
We all know perfection is of God and his works. Your view on the topic? |
@RoyPcain, like I said in my previous post,I would only use Bible verses as a reference. Now talking about purpose of creation according to the bible; Gen 1-26, Let us make man in our image, like us:and let him have rule over the fish of sea................. Reading from verse 26-28 shows he created male and female for the same purpose. Also Ephesian 3:9-10, Isaiah 43:7, Peter 5:6-7. In his words, he always says cretures(not individual destiny) because everything he created was perfect. Romans :23-24. Besides, your plausible explaination from Quran is purely immaterials and therefore different from human view of destiny. I ask again, do God created people to be what they are or the position they find themselves? |
I'm a christian, and will only reverse to what bible say about God creatures. Gen 1:31, And God saw everything which he had made and it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. From the above bible verse, it clearly shows that everything that God created was perfect. The verse also shows that we were created for the same purpose. So my question is; is destiny a thing of God or a mere word invented by men to give hope? Is there any correlation between destiny and what we are(rich/poor, healthy/unhealthy,brilliant/dull, etc). Note: I belief in natural ability(talent). |
I STILL CANT BLIV D OP WROTE THIS... DIS GAL NO GET MIRROR FOR HOUSE
Seriously don't know what's really wrong with you guys calling her ugly. You need to see someone face-face before you conclude that the person is ugly. Many girls usually posted their best pictures on socia-networks while some don't know how to do that. |
@op, it would be better if you post more pictures of buidings roofing with BATLAN ROOF. |
DailyNews: The fear of getting a NO from someone they will be seeing so often. Imagine if he builds up courage and walks up to a sister he had been admiring in the church, and unfortunately, the sister says: NO! I am taken, occupied, not ready now, etc.Wooing a lady is like a game of luck, you either win or get rejected. This's something you must live with, only a coward give up on wooing cos of a mere rejection from girls. If a woman reject you, please don't mind her shakara just go to the next available one you like, many of them are hypocrites, so don't give up. |
@all, please and please there are genuine cars dealers on NL. There might be some scammers really but don't forget there're genuine people too that imported their vehicles from US and EU. All you need to do is to ask for the requires papers including custom duty. That's why I will advise people to patronize sellers that imported through port. THANK! |
obami007: I dnt hav any of d listed characteristics,,,its just sometin I observed ryt from our days in secondary school,,where girls, because of d pple dey date den,,wil start lookin down on d guys,,,,,,so bro,I knw some of ur agemates (girls)wil stil tell u dat u are nt up to deir level,,,cos dey myt b dating an oga @ d topLolz, don't let me deceive you man, there's no way a woman will look down on you if you possessed those characteristics I mentioned in my previous post. Irrespective of your age, I will say it again, no woman, not even your so called 'Oga at the top' will look down on you. Work hard and be someone every girl will like to be with. |
obami007: What is it with young girls of nowadays calling their male counterparts small boys when dey are actually the same age or the guy is even the senior with a few years??usefull answers will be appreciated,,,thanksThey can't just call you a small boy for no reason. Hope you don't have problem with the following; * you act immature. * you broke or you no get level. * your dressing. |
Absolutely not! Whoever belief this wrong entity (with over 250 ethnic groups that possessed difference political ideologies, economy and socio-lifestyles) would see a bit of development is actually living in the world of form. |
35years old prophet? How did he got the title in the first place? I pity those ladies going from one church/pastor to another in search of husband or whatever. |
@op, I've bought phones and other valuable items for girls and I didn't ask them to return the favour by whatever means. So, where did you got your baseless accusation? |
carefreewannabe: How can I notice his personality first?Perhaps you're still very young? Classic or smart ladies do recognise decent or personality of a man they meet. @topic, all i will say is that, NL is full of young girls. |
@op, at 31yrs you're still looking for a virgin guy who must be older than yourself? Set your priority right woman,a virgin guy cannot guarantee you a successful marriage,so why bothering yourself upon notting? Seems despite your age,you know little/notting about men and relationship. Once a marriageable Nigeria man become rich/successful(virgin or not),he will never settle for older girls especially those in their 30's. I will advise you to remove that virgin nonsense. #My2cent#Goodluck. |
This is quite annoying, some guys sha! |
@op, why doing this to yourself? Perhaps you'd have looked better if you dress very well and taking those pics at a nice place or photos studio. I give you 5/10. |
We are made out of our thought/mind. Our minds are very powerful invisible substances that control our existence in general. |
WackyJ1: Your displays of foolishness and attention seeking are getting old and boring. I don't think i have seen an intelligent post from you, not even once. So why don't you just act mature for once and end this before this thread begins to accumulate unnecessary pages.I think this 'Wu zetian'. Of a girl need to check on her unnecessary anger towards strangers especially men on this site. Imaging a lady quoted your unharm post and started calling you stup1d. Dear Wu zetian, humility and respect are the pride of every virtuous woman. Also, stop reading femmism theory or whatever,it cannot help your socio-cultural relationship. |
fckyourman: AMBASSADOR FOR WHAT ??, THEY THINK THIS IS CHILDPLAY. ANYHOW AMBASSADORMay god bless you! She's advocating for the education of girls indeed. Rubbish! |
youngds: Bro don't act like a mitch here, won't you be ashamed if you and your gf is pushing a car, and beside what help would it bring, girls are weaker sex and it won't hurt to be a gentleman rather than nigga-raw-shitt, that's the problem with niger-guys, you take things too serious............Lol, who tell you they're weaker sex? Didn't you see a thread made by one feminist here on NL front-page days ago? |
tsidra: IMPOSSIBLE!!!Later, they will be shouting equal right. @op, this shouldn't be a question at all, even if she's the queen of England, she must push in such situation. |
But you guys get time o, what is it with all these long posts? You can explain your points in a few lines or sentences. |
sakaguchi: @OP And the relevance of this question is only to thrill you with the adrenaline from tribal bashing?I don't think any tribe will suffer it, the north is reputed for agriculture: tomato, onions, cattle, beans, millet, dairy and will be forced to return to it, New zealand is fine with agriculture. The Christian part of the north; Plateau, Benue, South Kaduna, Taraba, some parts of Nasarawa and parts of all northern states have soya beans, yams (with Nasarawa, Niger and Benue being the largest producer nationwide), potatoes, apple, cabbage etc, in general, the north will be an agricultural hub. The South west have inchoate technocrat setup, they can build on it together with their cities, culture and manpower, the south East have traders and entrepreneurs who would delve in business, manufacturing etc, South South has the oil. Did I forget to mention the leather industry in the north? Cement, sugar cane? I don't think any zone/region will suffer and wait a minute, Nigeria will never break up. #TeamOneNigeriaI would not have said it any better. |
jay bee: Thread has romantic undertone and absolutely nothing to do with politics. I honestly don't know what happened to your comprehension skills. If anything, it's best suited for the family because of the obvious commonalities that exist within romance/familyC'mon Jay bee, notting is wrong with my comprehension skills, except you're trying not to tell the truth, notting is romantic about this thread. The thread talked about gender inequality, domination of a particular gender,as well as right and position of women in the society. On this basis, it's also suited for the politics. |
Wu Zetian: You're the first person to mention this, though you stup1dly assumed I'm unaware of that. I wonder what the 'dead give-away' wasIt's a waste of time to be argue or writting long essay on this issue. You and I know that inequality and perhap Patriarchy are inevitable and natural. The nature has favoured men, so Patriarchy is normal and unquestionable. |
jay bee: Your reason?Notting is romantic about the topic. Besides,I don't think someone should tell you before you know. |
