LeopardX: I believe that husbands whose wives abuse domestic helps should also be arrested and investigated. Too often, we hear terrible stories of children and domestic workers being tortured inside homes. Recently, reports emerged of a woman who allegedly poured hot water and candle wax on a young child in her care. Such cruelty and evil act does not usually happen in one minute or in complete secrecy. Someone in the house often sees the signs, hears the cries, or notices the injuries.
A husband should not be allowed to simply say, "I didn't know." If a child is being abused repeatedly in a home, every responsible adult in that home should answer questions from the police. If investigations show that the husband knew about the abuse, ignored it, encouraged it, or failed to report it, then he should face the law alongside his wife.
Children and domestic helps are human beings, for crying out loud. A home should be a place of safety, not a place of fear and torture. Holding all responsible adults accountable will help discourage abuse and protect vulnerable people. Silence can sometimes be as dangerous as the abuse itself.
And since this issue is common place in our society today, there should be a law holding husbands of these women equally responsible for these crimes against children and domestic help.
What do you guys think?
Obviously you are not married, that is why you talk like a boy.
Because after reporting your wife, then you will choose if you want to Leave happily ever after, or Live happily ever after.

You open your mouth waaaaaaa, and talk for talking sake, if it were to be you, would you report your wife?
As a wise man, what you are expected to do is return the child back to their parents, because if you dare report your wife, it means you don't want peace for the rest of your life and she will see you as a threat and can poison you over little issue.
adedapodvirus001: Good morning my people. Please I need an advise on what to do on this matter. A popular Instagram vendor refused to refund my wife for a failed purchase. My wife say saw the bag on her page and messaged her if the bag is still available to which she responded that it's available. My wife paid for the bag Immediately and after some hours she came back to my wife and said that the bag is no longer available. She promised to refund my wife but it's been almost one month now no refund. She kept on putting my wife on "is coming ".
The amount of money involved is 110k.
I don't know why it's difficult for Nigerian vendors to do business with integrity and honesty. They will go on Instagram ranting on how they have made much money and how successful they are but they are dubious and greedy.
I need suggestions on best way to recover the money.
Kalulu44: Good day and happy Sunday to you all. At 45 it still beat my imagination that I get freak out by anything crawling especially snakes. This morning while coming out from my apartment, I saw this snake crawling inside my compound while being escorted by a bird (funny scenario), I guess it came from the bush opposite my house and crawl thru under my gate. Immediately I saw it, instead of me killing it I got freak out. . I quickly took some steps away and hurriedly went to call one of the two guys working in our hotel which is just the next house. One of the guy said I shouldn't call him in matters of snake (my likeness) It was the youngest guy who I am 22 yrs older than that came to kill the snake. Even after he killed it, when snapping it with my phone, I was scared as if the snake will suddenly come back alive and hurt me. After that, I took a stick and picked it to go throw away. Still I was afraid. . This is me that's not afraid to enter any bush or forest whether day or night. This is me that's not afraid to enter any dangerous area or neighborhood. This is me that's not scared of anything be it ghost, armed robbers, cultist e.t.c but snakes no matter how small it's as been my only phobia. So guys! I'm asking, is there a way I can stop myself from being afraid of snakes? Or is it too late cus I'm too old?
Sirchiboy: There is no woman who relocated abroad and came back to marry his bf in NG
Just another day to tell you that, Nigerian girls are not worth the sacrifice.
That is why it is very important that, when you are dating a girl, and she is not committing to the relationship, especially financially, best you dump her, else, she will throw you under the bus, if better opportunity presents itself.
Sellers here in the North rebag it into small transparent Nylon and sell it for ₦50-₦200 only because of the size.
A lot of parents here buy it for their Children because it is very cheap.
When you mix it in water it tastes like baby powder mixed with groundnut oil and sugar.
Peak milk Refill is now ₦4,000, very expensive and it won’t last up to 1 week for my family of 9
My Children love drinking hot tea in the morning. Especially during raining season. I rather give them only plain Lipton and sugar than mix this YO-YO milk for them.
May God help us all
It seems you are feeding your children dusting powder 😂
Hahaha, people are passing 20× times her situation, yet they have not killed themselves, but for some reason, she thinks her case is the worst, when an average Nigerian girl has, or will abort more than 6 pregnancies, before settling down.
Juliette5803: Nigeria is the worst place to live in emergency situations, no ambulance, no CPR , no defibrillator. This is reminding you that your chances of survival can be negatively impacted by the stupidity of the people around you That woman has probably 30 minutes of life left in her........but we will rather bring out our phones to create content for viewership
I’ll be turning 25 in July, and as I approach this milestone, I’ve been thinking seriously about my next big step in life.
I currently live in Kaduna with my parents and have a stable, comfortable life. I work as a teacher and also earn additional income from research writing and occasional website development gigs. I hold a Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in Biochemistry and consider myself fairly tech-savvy.
Lately, I’ve been feeling that it’s time to challenge myself and pursue bigger opportunities. Lagos keeps coming to mind because of the career prospects, networking opportunities, and the fast-paced environment that seems ideal for personal and professional growth.
My biggest challenge is accommodation. I don't currently have a place to stay in Lagos, and that uncertainty is making the decision difficult.
For those who have made a similar move, especially from northern Nigeria to Lagos, would you advise taking the leap? How did you handle accommodation and the initial transition? Do you think moving to Lagos could be a worthwhile investment in my future?
I’m considering making this move as a birthday gift to myself and would really appreciate your advice, experiences, and suggestions.
Thank you.
Birthday gift ke, unless you want to sleep under the bridge.
If you don't have minimum of 300k to rent a house in lagos, somewhere around ikorodu, just forget about it, else, you will become a potential customer to ritualist.
oluwatruther: The first 6 months for any new country be when most people break down because dem think say dem dey escape something, but dem don enter another problem. Visit the place first before you go permanently. If you no fit survive 3 weeks there as local person, you no ready at all.
Visit the place, as if you board a bus from mile 2 to oshodi abi... Where do you expect them to get the money for such?
MilestoneMillet: Just because a bad habit is prevalent doesn't mean it should be acceptable..
Anyways, some determined Nigerians will in no time stomp these behaviours out!!!!!!
Have you asked yourself why countries like Japan, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland all have low crime rate?
A country where life is so easy, with basic amenities, and the future is bright, will automatically make the people honest and upright.
Compared to Nigeria where 85% of the citizens are struggling to survive, no single hope, it automatically makes the people brutal and act with evil mind set.
MilestoneMillet: With this kind of mindset, I hope they have strong screening method, so that people like you don't get the job, and become nuisance to hotel customers.
Anyways, good development.. More jobs for the youth.
Dey play, virtually all the staffs of all the big hotels in Nigeria acts and behaves in the same manner.
House please, i have a 2013 Toyota Sienna, is it profitable to use it for e-hailing like Uber, Bolt and Co, or should i use it for airport tax, or should i sell and buy a 2007 Toyota Corolla?
Mind you, this car comes with a 3.5L V6 engine, but i would convert it to 100L CNG.
Like, what is the rough estimate it can make daily?
Terrorism and banditry are operated by the Northern elites, in collaboration with their governors and the assistance of the Nigeria Army.... Because it is a multi trillion dollar industry, i don't see them stopping soon.
If the federal government cuts off funding budgeted for fighting insurgency, it will naturally stop all these shenanigans.
tojahh: Ah Bossman you're welcome to such discuss. We were here the other time when someone accused the project and questioned why transporters don't use CNG,. I laughed because Ignorance is never bliss as facts always stands true.
It will be a win and more beneficial to the company if they can transit to cleaner energy while keeping their engines safer not even talking about the millions that would be save in recurrent expense for the company. Firms and institutions are keying in to CNG to safe cost to its minimum, even LASG Internal Revenue are having their non operational vehicles converted. The price of fuel is so volatile that you can't bank on it, even if government policies swings, there's still a huge chance of CNG winning. Remember, CNG didn't stop you from using fuel, so it's a win-win.
Please we are here when it's time Chief. Bring deals make breakthrough long. I wan dey convention for Cedar Point, Ohio with Rutherford them
pocohantas: This old woman is not yet ready to tell us what happened, except she is suffering dementia and people are using her for content. Ever since they discovered she is the woman in a popular Igbo highlife song of old, na content back to back.
I am sure in a previous interview she said she was taking care of her younger siblings and their kids until time went by. Was it her parents that imposed that on her? Not impossible because I have seen people saddled with family responsibilities that to marry becomes a problem. Even when they eventually do, their birth families won't allow the spouse have peace as income source gets blocked.
Just like in the movie Monica, Uche Montana was sacrificing her future for her family, to the extent of her mother being against her getting married, because they expect her to continue carrying the family responsibility for ever, and later still blamed her for not settling down earlier, and that is some people's present reality.
Samantha125: At least she's able to pamper herself with some Louis Vuitton...
But honestly, marriage and children aren't a big deal, personally, I don't view them as achievements... There are many women in loveless and abusive marriages who wanna leave, but have nowhere else to go... In fact, marriage is a humiliation ritual for many women out there.
The same way there are many elderly parents whose children have abandoned to die from loneliness.
Of course, it is not an achievement, but wait until you get old and your life flashes before you, then you will understand the very importance it is to both men and women to get married and make children.
Lilosama: A House of Representatives member has been linked to a scandal after allegedly being caught twice in a hotel with another man’s wife — while she continues returning to him despite the damage caused at home.
But beyond the headlines, there’s a deeper message here.
Many men waste time, energy, and emotional investment trying to compete for or “fix” a woman who repeatedly shows where her loyalty lies. When behaviour is consistent, it stops being confusion and starts being a pattern.
The lesson is simple: stop over-investing in situations where respect is not being returned. If someone keeps choosing chaos, distance yourself and protect your peace.
Righteousness2: What we are witnessing today may very well be a PREVIEW of what the future will look like for ISRAEL after the RAPTURE . A world leader who appears friendly toward ISRAEL, brokers a peace agreement, and even allows the temple to be rebuilt, only to reveal his true nature and turn completely against her. One Sure Fact is GOD will Save HIS PEOPLE and CRUSH All that come against them.
These are truly HISTORIC and BIBLICAL times.
Stay close to the Lord. Remain rooted in His Word. Encourage one another and stay in fellowship as we eagerly await His return:
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
When he did that during campaign of the last election, and Tinubu refused to present himself to Nigerians for questioning, why didn't people like Dayo Musa react to that.
