A man has given birth to a healthy baby boy.
Trystan Reese, a transgender man living in
Portland, Oregon, gave birth to son Leo
Murray Chaplow on July 14 after chronicling
his experiences of pregnancy online.
Mr Reese tweeted in celebration: "Attention,
If You Have Ever Said 'A Man Would Never
Have A Baby,' A Transgender Man Just HAD
ONE," linking to an article about the birth.
He also posted a picture of himself with the
open-mouthed baby to his Facebook.

Mr Reese and his partner Biff Chaplow
already have two adopted children, having
taken on Mr Chaplow's toddler niece and
nephew when his sister became suddenly
unable to care for them.
While their story of being "accidental gay
parents" drew the attention of international
media, they decided to expand their family
by having their first biological child together.
Mr Reese has sought to demystify
transgender pregnancy through blog posts in
which he explained how he reconciles being
a man with being pregnant.
“People get the idea that this was some
experiment that we embarked on,” Mr Reese
told the Washington Post, pointing out that
there have already been
successful transgender pregnancies.
“This is tested ground. This is something
that has been done in a very safe and
healthy way,” said the 34-year-old Mr Reese was born female but began taking hormone therapy and identifying as a man age 20. Doctors told him that although taking testosterone has given him facial hair, his ovaries and womb were still healthy and he could have a normal pregnancy. WE ARE HEADING HOME!!! Leo has received a clean bill of health (and so has Trystan) so we are happily heading back home to settle into our new life with our newest little addition. |

well, what else will I say than say its serves him right . we all blame the government for our undoing, that importer is a criminal and should be treated as such. imagine someone shortchanging the government with that huge amount of money. didn't he knew the process involved in the business before venturing into it? the government has done nothing wrong because it only seized rice not ' yeast' . he is perhaps not the owner of the rice .that's how they bring in dangerous weapon to the country by falsifying the content of it. A deterrent I say to the would be criminal. let the Nigerian custom auction the at a very low price so that we can all enjoy from it |
Tell me |
Curdlebug:Yes bros, I know one, he's my brother ..... but he lives in Abuja but if d contract is huge he'll meet u anywhere. we are from kwara state too..... waiting patiently to hear from u |
God pls let it remain like this until at least end of this year... that's when I'll be back in Nigeria |
I pray he doesn't fall into d hands of d evil men. Nigeria is now something else since buhari came in. thank God immediately he was sworn in, I flew out of d country to a safer country where all men are treated equal with constant inflow of dough. |
Guys, I've missed u so much. I'm now in Malaysia though not for studies its actually for work .I know some good guys will call me a fool but if u were in my shoe u are likely bound to do same. However, I'll b coming back to Nigeria by d end of dis year God's willing, I saw an opportunity and being a very poor student that I was, there is little doubt as to whether to take it or not. u all know that it comes once in a blue moon. I know what u guys will b willing to know is my studies but a defer of admission for a session will take care of that. My only regret is that this opportunity came in d mid of an academic session having successfully completed d first semester in kwasu d next thing I saw was my travelling processes that eventually led to my being here. I miss u guys so much most especially my big boss Jeleel, my kwasu room mate and brother gwears and u too, I miss u all. I've forgotten all your monickers on nairaland ,I'll have mentioned all of u. I hope to see u soon when I return .. .. love u all guys love nairaland also, I'm always online. missed Nigeria so much, most especially d food |

largehead:Apologies accepted bro... mabinu dear...i'll try and meet u at " aspire cyber cafe" wen i resume lol |
largehead:these will b d last time i'll reply u cos from ur post i've realised dat we ar nt in d same category as attessted to by post wen u nick named me a 'HND' holder who 'managed' to gain entrance to kwasu, now u see dat in accademics 'oga lo gan je' having said dat, let me also correct an impression from ur end dat i managed 2 gain admission dat i deserved? u must b as clueless as ur post. in every society, thr must b some few recalcicrant element who will b poised to militating against d progress of such society... i owe u no apology to categorise u in dis group. guy b careful cos "egbe eye leyen wo to". we ar nt in d same lane, our goals ar nt d same for sure face urs let me face mine. in ur own interest stop quoting me |
A4dams:Bro na u b boss ooo.. abeg mak unna leave dis guy d guy na F on a more serious note, anyone who is a kwasuite or knows d happenings in and around d sku will know dat dis guy (flat head abi na small head self) is nt a kwasuite, perhaps he's a frustrated admission seeker, or one of d few students who misplaced their priorities at d early stage and he's becaming pissed-off with d stress he's going thru on ways to turn d table around or better still he may just be an uncelebrated guy who needs to step on other people's toes to get to his height. my HOD Prof. sunday otokiti sef na xtian, so many to mention abeg |
largehead:Hey!!! why ar u disgracing yourself? i raised a counter and a superior argument to urs and instead of u to accept d fact that u lied and also offer an unreserved apology for character assassination of d sku, u ar here ranting rubbish. meeting u at aspire cyber cafe changes nothing cos d gullible aspirant whom u may have decieved with ur lies wount b thr to witness d debate. so it is imperative on my part to deal with ur malicious points for d whole world to see. lastly, let me say to u dat i'm nt ashamed to be a 300level student, it may b later dan i would hv wanted it bt i'm faring well, my experience is paying-off and i'm looking forward to u clapping for me in d nearest future on a standing ovation... ire ooo |
largehead:why must u lie 2 criticise? kwasu run an accademic calender 4 first semester from 1st week of august to 1st week of december. now tell me how d accademic calender affects ur xmas celebration? infact, last year d muslim students only had 2 days break for big sallah celebration cos it fell in october wen d sch is on session. i knw u ar nt a student of kwasu bt pls make enquiry 4rm d students of d sku b4 passing on judgement. |
