Hello. I don’t think you damaged anything. Trust me. For your engine to be damaged due to insufficient engine oil, your low pressure oil warning light has to illuminate. If the light is indeed working and it didn’t illuminate, then you are lucky. The oil is short of the optimum level but isn’t dangerously low yet until the oil light comes on. I drive a Honda Accord and the dip stick may not have any oil at the tip but be rest assured that you have about 2 and a half to three liters of oil left in that engine. As the post above advised, get a mechanic to check to discover the source of the oil leak. Once that is determined, fix the oil leak and refill oil to the optimum level and you are good to go. Hope this helps. But whatever you do, do not drive it to the mechanic’s. Rather get the mechanic to come over to your place. Cheers.

Thank you all. I always read the instrument cluster for any change but no notice was given me; no increase in temperature, nor oil warning light, nothing at all.

I noticed a drop in power but I attributed it to fatigue. But it was when I parked and I was looking around the car that I saw the wetness.

Glad to know this now and update: my mechanic confirmed that I hit the chassis covering the sump (one nonsense rock I put in between my tyres forgetting that I was now fully loaded with village things hence a lower stance) and while the chassis protected the sump, the cheap oil filter was unprotected and therefore sprung a leak.

Right now, we are purchasing a fresh oil and oil filter.

Would be back to let you know the results.

Woke up this morning and checked the oil level, no reading on the dip stick!

1)To perish and to die in some places in the bible simply means to die without hope of being raised again on the last day.

2) ln some places it means to lose touch with God. ( like Adam in the garden of eden).

3) ln other places it means to rise again, but to rise to eternal condemnation( as in the book of Daniel)

4) ln other places it means to die to a previous lifestyle usually sin.

5)And for the rest of the bible, it simply means to perish literally.


Both you and most evangelicals and/or Christians assume that perish in this instance should only mean no 3 and no 3 alone.

As for me, l don't clearly know what it means in this instance but it most likely means you shall begin to reap the fruits of your own sin, or receive the wrath of your sin both now and in the new age during the resurrection.
What l know is important from that passage though is that the words of jesus gives eternal life, or guarantees resurrection to life everlasting when the new age comes.
