u're not happy we can all seat at home and see internet. u've forgotten so soon how we all used to go and buy time in cafes, looking at those wicked clocks ticking away, sometimes we had to save some minutes to use the next day. . . other times we would try some used tickets to see if the good Samaritan who bought the ticket left anything in it. . . yet at other times we'll rub shoulders with the cafe attendant so we can be friends and get some free time from him. . . or we try to get the admin password of the cafe (oh lordy at tht time most cafes in my area used the default admin/admin login sequence). 9ja is progressing joor!

if your laptop allows you to boot from usb drives, then u can boot from one.
else get an external cdrom

or as a last resort (don't try this if u have the slightest of doubts u'll brick ur lappy), remove the hard drive from the laptop, connect it as a removeable storage device to another lappy, back up everything u got (except the p0rn directory , if applicable. haha). partition the drive into 2. copy WinXP installation files into the secondary partition. now connect the drive as a master on that other lappy u're using (not ur own), run windows 98 installation on it, on the first partition. when done, take ur drive back to ur lappy and let it boot up to windows 98. when in windows 98, goto the second partition where u kept the xp installation files and do an upgrade installation of winXP.
That's it. tht's how i used to install winXP on boxes tht didnt have cd-roms when winXP first came out.

every wireless router has an SSID that identifies it, unfortunately most people leave the default SSID so there's a confusion when there's more than one of the same kind of router in a given area.

MTN is stable now, so y'all stop complaining and connect. I've been connected for 9 hours and pulled out about 4gig or more.

i think its my phone's wireless thingy. its not from mtn. The aluminum heat sink i made for my phone musta become hot by conduction since i turned the ac off a while ago.

(High speed downloading) life goes on . . . (with MTN, for now).

MTN has been stable for about 24 hours, so all bundles should be working. you don't need any extra configurations. if its a nokia fone u're using to connect, just make sure u use PC suite and choose "MTN Nigeria Nigeria" from the list of settings. If its the normal mtn hsdpa modem, then u're good to go with no extra config.
