This is probably IOM Abuja judging by how fast you were able to call them. IOM Lagos is a terrible place with terrible service

They usually send a mail advising on further details like how to pay after you’ve booked, maybe you didn’t get the mail cos of the invalid date thing. I’ve attached a copy of what the mail looks like. Search your email for it or just book again if you didn’t get it

My sister, Ontario is a good province, you can always change provinces later when you become a citizen. And besides there are high chances of you getting a nomination certification before July. Ontario would have responded to you before then. Just remain strong sis. This year is our year!

Sis Dudu06......"God so good"......I no think you fit withdraw again sef as e sure say they don already start work on your OINP application (unless you wan dash them CAD1,500).....even if it hasn't started it would have been well underway by July. You are also likely to have got PNP ITA by then (PNP draws happen regularly every fortnight).

Ontario probably has more jobs and warmer winters compared to other provinces so being "stuck" there isn't all bad. After the trauma of the last 16 months of no FSW draws, this idea would probably only occur to someone whose CRS is ridiculously high. Regardless of your CRS, please don't entertain this idea. You'll probably make close to or more than the CAD1,500 in your first month's salary in Canny, not to worry.

I hope with these few points of mine, I have been able to convince you that doctors are better than teachers.......

What Sure he has learnt a very big lesson now. Worse is he will never get NOI from Ontario with that same express entry profile excepts he creates another from all I have read. Alberta and Ontario hasn’t issued NOI in a while now too so it’s been a rollercoaster for most people waiting. The ones who got NOI from Ontario in February are lamenting that their application is not moving at all.

How do you turn down 600 points for something that has not happened and even when it does, so many factors come to play ( tie breaker, higher crs draws, age reduction etc).

Please oo don’t reject anything. Worse that will happen is that you get to stay in that province till citizenship and even that can’t be that bad.

You’ll actually have to get a new reference letter from the company you’re leaving to reflect the date you left cos I assume the one you used for OINP would say you’re working there till date which will be considered misrepresentation if you use the same letter for IRCC after you’ve resigned. IMO, it’s only the date that needs to change.

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Leave your primary noc the way it is on the EE profile and put the new job in personal history.

I don’t see why you have to submit a different reference letter for your PR application, by the time you get ITA, you’ll only have been working at the new company 2 months max so… what’s the point. Except I’m not getting your question right

Please in addition ..will I need to submit an updated reference from my new company when my application is being reviewed by Ontario ..as I will need to update my job profile when I resume in the new firm next month ..please note that I just submitted my application to Ontario this week

Notice to candidates that received a notification of interest under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream on February 22, 2022

The OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 455 and 600 and whose IRCC profiles were created between February 22, 2021 and April 29, 2021.

If your Express Entry profile expires before submitting your OINP application, you must create a new Express Entry profile then upload to your OINP application:

*a copy of the letter you received from IRCC acknowledging the new profile with the Express Entry number and job seeker validation code visible
*a copy of the letter you received from IRCC acknowledging the expired profile with the Express Entry number and job seeker validation code visible
*a copy of the profile expiration letter received from IRCC.

Failure to notify the program of your new Express Entry profile will result in your application being returned as incomplete and your application fee refunded.

If your Express Entry profile expires during the processing of your OINP application, you must notify us as soon as possible by email at ontarionominee@ontario.ca and include the documents above.
