Truth is no matter what glo does to uas slong as u enjoy the network strength just stick with them beca they at least enjoy tax break to not extort subers that much. Ntooooorrrr, stay there and continue waiting for those with merit and you and them will spend ten years at home after graduation. Your mates are already living in their personal houses and you are here dreaming. You better travel to USA where the system supports your dream.

Education › Re: Lecturers In The House, I Need Advice by duduade(m): 8:49pm On Oct 25, 2020
bizme:
I am a lecturer and I will advise you to check carefully if a NOUN MSc degree will not indeed constitute a major problem for you with respect to securing a lecturing appointment, especially as it relates to your field of specialization. For mine it's impossible to get a lecturing appointment, but it's hard to comment about yours since you haven't included this in your post.
Note that in applying to a higher institution for a lecturing job you typically will need to compete against several other applicants. And even when a NOUN degree might not be disqualifying in your field, you should anticipate a situation where several of your competitions hold a more acceptable MSc degree. Some of your competition will also have a PhD degree or will have commenced PhD study, while many of them will have good publication records as well as cognate teaching experience... In such a situation, you would stand no chance whatsoever if merit rules the day at that interview. But if you have a potent alternative to merit, as obtains in many climes in Nigeria these days, then you don't need anyone's advice since you might even secure a lecturing job without having gone to any university in the past. This is not to sound cheeky, this is the experience in different places in Nigeria.

Lastly, joinning the academia in Nigeria with a mindset of absconding to face some other engagements is a sad motivation indeed. There is an old and proud tradition in lecturing and research, one that forces each player to carry his share of the calling and run with it. Full-time calling. You have no business joining the academia if you do not plan to give your all, 100 %, to it.

The standard of this modern world has made beauty enhancement products a necessity for some ladies to the extent they feel shy and depressed when they step out of the house without it
Fans of celebrities have grown so used to their makeup faces that they do not recognize them when they go off without their makeup because of the image fans have portrayed in their minds about a certain celebrity.

I once traveled to oko polytechnic to see this girl I met on facebook. I dressed up really nice and sprayed the perfume i sell thru networking (Federico mahora). When I got there and met this girl in a fast food I got the shock of life. Omo if u see this babe gap teeth, the stuff is like hoe. I started asking myself how did I not see this in her pictures. It's like where two trailer jam each other they faced opposite direction. Mehn I was ashamed of myself. Its a bit late so I cudnt go back home I had to lodge. Bro this babe slept one side till I work up in the morning. I was nice to her so she won't feel bad. I left the hotel by 7 o'clock in the morning and deleted her number asap.
