That's after the fact - do u gerrit? It doesn't change the narrative or some people's positions with regards to what's in the child's best interest.

I hope you also read some nasty comments about excluding the said runaway dad from the child's life by stealth.

C'mmon!
the reason i quoted you is you calling ladycewhy toxic, of which she was among the few who were interested in getting to the root of the matter and put the pieces together while you were busy giving your baby daddy friends a high five ,gloating in your testosterone and shutting people who dont support dead beat dads up. She was busy asking salient questions that is what i wanted to point out. so next time before to you call people names ,do a back track on your own path, shalom!.

Now you're beginning to twist my words. smiley

I'm not saying there ain't runaway dads but to use a disparaging and vicious word such as 'dead' in the combination of descriptive words connotes the depth of the bitterness which lingers. Here in Sambisa, we call them 'Runaway Dads'. grin

Secondly, people often behave badly and also do the right thing - these are what humans do & I hope we both agree on that. So how to leverage in such situations is what we all have intelligence to do in order not to make a bad situation worse.

Lastly, it would be wrong or inappropriate to use the word 'attack' in the context which it's used in your last paragraph. This is because I have only tried my possible best to put people back in line that we have a choice either to 'make better' or 'make worse'.

In this case, the Op chose the former and now he has peace of mind. He has done well for himself. cool
but it has been proven that even the so called peace of mind the op was seeking was all a misguided statement . The real gist is his mum and other siblings have already made up with his dad, infact his mum and dad even live together . The op is the only who hasn't patched things up with his dad. Its all there on page 11 .

Abeg point out where I have shown support for deadbeat dads... I'm waiting?

Let's start from there please...cool
first you seem to have a problem with the word "deadbeat" .

Then in your reply to some you said "It's natural for people to do right or wrong and it's not out of the ordinary but our intelligence can help to leverage.".

So in oder words men abandoning their kids is natural . undecided

Let's not forget you have attacked virtually everyone who is not in support of deadbeat dads even guys too. Lol.You and your people have been doing high five on the thread since forever, you have co-signed all their toxic outbursts on this thread ,that to me is enough support bro.

Things dey happen
so many hidden things behind closed doors. Knew of a rape case of a 40 year old cultist then and 7 year old sarah. Lovely girl, the case died a natural death in the police station and he was released by the police. He later died of a strange illness two years later guess the universe decided to serve justice.

There was even a popular case then that hit the news, he was a fine art teacher at Edo college then, to think we used to greet him with "afternoon sir" only to hear he impregnated his own daughter.

I've read cases of women that exposed their husbands who assaulted their kids.

Even if she didn't want to bring shame upon him, why not leave? Or will her family or his blame her from running away?

That woman's esteem is below the lowest of the low, and I highly suspect the husband pounds her at home
there are women who are still living with their husband after molesting their kids, e.g my cousin's ex . for some reason that issue was never brought to light by their mother who was aware of such atrocity. Guess its because the man is kind of rich sha

i was asking how you would "feel"
my conclusion is don't call people dumb for beilieving in something cos you also believe in something
they are dumb cos they refused to double check which turned out to be false even scientists have made false claims ,the onus lies on us to check for facts. You just don't go around taking in what someone says , a belief system should be based on defendable facts .

Many of the commenters all rushed to believe the op because they have heard a similar story elsewhere from another person who also heard from another person they never even bothered to check for the authenticity of the op's story who i presume must be laughing his ass out at the gullibility of people to believe his story, lol

For all we know ,this thread might even be a human experiment project to test human psychology and reasoning.

As for the timeline, that may be plausible. Let's just say the man was an unmarried young man during the war. What is very inconsistent is the picture of the man which turned out to be politician and how the so called friend disappeared only to reappear about four decades later and miraculously have the number of a wife, the friend obviously didn't even see him marry. Lol

I know it was all lies, because such stories are always told by a third party. I'm yet to see a story told by the people directly involved eg a man talking about his ghost wife, or a wife talking about his ghost husband. This type of stories are usually spread by a friend of the wife or husband. There is never any consistency to it. No real address, just a general address. No real pictures of the said people, no photo of their old self before the died, just stories made up to convince or scare lily-livered folks
they always have his story of 'the ghost picture disappears" just to cover that part of the burden of providing evidence ,lol

That's why we have the richest religious leaders. OP even try to be convincing. These days, most of these con men masquerading as religious leaders, don't even try as hard as the OP to convince people to believe their BS grin
honestly i find it sad that people with working brains actually fell for this.Even the age timeline suggests the gabon friend most likely doesn't even know the wife cos he was not even married during the war.

It also suggests that the op's friend is a hybrid of half ghost half human if so the OP's friend needs to be put in a lab and studied,we might just have a real super human in our midst, lol

Here is my question.....
Kindly take note of these points
1)You said it was during the biafrian war which happen in the mid 1963
2)The op claim the father is 69 years old mathematically he was born in 1950.Therefore he was 13 during the war apparently a child soldier.
3)At 13,So you are telling me he is married already..is that it?.
Cos how can the Gabon returnee knows the number of the wife since he hasn't been home since God knows when..?
good question,
If i was to reconnect with an old friend who wasn't married that last time i knew him, i would go through him not through his spouse i have never met. Judging by the age and putting the timeline together, thaddeus was not married during the war and was likely a child soldier ,so how come the friend who will probably be in the same age group as thaddeus contacted his wife whom he doesn't even know? If at all this case is true, this is a case of possible kidnapping not even ghost disappearance.

Except the op is saying ghost thaddeus was already married during the war undecided and subsequently had the op's friend in his ghost state after the war. So we will now conclude the op's friend is a hybrid of half ghost half human.
