You dont need to see what is cooperate about it,the rules are the rules. My dear business doesn't run on emotions, what is ethical may not be moral, but regardless its still business.

Brands have had to cancel endorsments on actions carried out by celebrities even when the deed is not even related to their brand. If she was forced or recorded without her consent this is where i would have faulted the school for expelling her. But since all the headlines seems to read "babcock student" it is in the best interest of the school to do the needful to dissociate itself from such scandal.

The school has a name to protect and she being labelled a student of the school brings disrepute to the school's image ,whether the said deed happened in school or not.

Seems alot of Nigerians are so used to abnormality they don't even know what cooperate image means.

However if she wants justice she can pursue it on her own and sue the person(s) that leaked it, but the school under the circumstance of consent is not obligated to help her seek justice since she committed the act willingly.

I hope silly girls learn from this ,what is fair might not be moral and what is ethical might not moral.

All this you wrote would have come into play if the girl in question was under duress or secretly recorded without her consent. It would have been easier for the school to defend her and protect her but that is not the case here.


If she wants to get justice ,she can pursue the case on her own. But since she willingly made the tape the school reserves the right to dissociate themselves from her. It might not be fair but its business and many corporate organisations do it to protect their brands. What is ethical in business may not be moral ,but then business is business and the school has a business to run.

I disagree, sometimes what you see is what you get, this people take the internet as their hyper reality, since they know people who know them are not watching,they say exactly how and what they feel.
