PoliticsThe Tuface Led Protest (another Joke Of The Century) by dultmax(op): 1:25pm On Feb 01, 2017
There are lots of noise about the protest scheduled for feb 5th or 6th according to another news, but to me, this is just another joke.

Mr reasons are as follows

1. Why is Tuface leading a protest? He is a musician and not just an ordinary musician but a famous and wealthy musician in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. In his own way, he has used his music to send messages to the Government and have clamour for change. I remember in 2015 TUFACE lambasted the PDP Government and accused them of misrule for the past 16yrs .
http://www.idomavoice.com/2015/05/angry-tuface-idibia-bombs-pdp.html

My question is why didn't a protest against the PDP Government?

Yes, he won't because PDP Governors Lavished State Funds On Him...http://stargist.com/news/eric-amodu-blasts-tuface-pdp-governors-lavished-state-funds-on-you/

2. What have TUFACE given back to the community? Akon is also a musician like you. He provides solar power for 600 million Africans....http://akonlightingafrica.com/...

Tuface, let us see your face in the news for projects like this and do you know that Gwen Stefani,an American musician, donated One million Dollar to victims of Japan Earthquake? http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/gwen-stefani-donates-1-million-to-japan-relief-efforts-20110323 ...Yes, we don't have Earthquake and Tsunami in Nigeria but we have recession which according to you was caused by the misrule of our past leaders. Protest wont put food on our tables....

3. When the Biafrans Protested, do they have Biafra? Immediately President Muhammadu Buhari took over the administration of the country, news of IPOBS and MASSOBS were online like it will never die down.....today, where is biafra? Instead, we hear news of South Eastern people joining APC....

4. The Boko Haram Menace: Tuface was silent through all this time..people are suffering in the north....have you donated anything to the IDPs in Borno? If no....pls do something

5. Lastly, Fayose was with you on this....infact..i can't help but laugh when I read the news about Governor Ayodele Fayose joining you in the protest....type fayose in google and read the news of his profile....

I will laugh at the outcome

PoliticsThank You Mr President by dultmax(op): 3:55pm On Jan 10, 2017
I want to use this medium to say "THANK YOU MR PRESIDENT" for the opportunity given to me under the auspices of the N-Power Programme.

Mr President, many graduates like myself and many others who have been a beneficiary of this programme have been subjected to mockery and ridicule by employers of labour, family, illiterate neighbours and society as a whole.

Many of us works in Private Schools where we paid between 10000 - 15000 Naira monthly. My friend who is a Masters holder in the University of Ibadan had to settle for 15000 Naira teaching Job in one private School despite heavy workload and "threats" of sack if he did not deliver as they expect.

There are many graduates working in the bank but earns less than 20000 Naira monthly despite the fact that they have to put on "Tie" everyday. Many are contract staffs employed by recruitment firms like Workforce, U-Connect and others. They are paid stipends while the recruiting agency makes lots of profits from the services of these people.

Mr President Sir, I want to draw your attention to these act of slavery by these so called employers of labours although, the N-Power programme have saved the life of some people.

Sir, I have always believed in you and lost a job that pays much less than 30000 Naira while trying to defend you. I created a thread on this forum and received insults from people. https://www.nairaland.com/2644721/lost-job-because-love-buhari

Sir, I know you are doing your best to get the country out of recession and I pray God crown your efforts as you drive our Country to greater Place.

Mr President, I promise to do my best in taking the advantage of this programme and encourage others to be upright and diligent in wherever I am being posted as my Place of Primary Assignment. I know how our performance as the first "set" will determine so much on how the progamme will be sustained.

Lastly, I also want to say a big thank you to the "VICE PRESIDENT" and his team. I have seen that it is possible to employ 200000 people without connection at the top and stampede in stadiums

God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria

God Bless President Muhammad Buhari

God Bless Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

RomanceSome Quotes Based On My Experience In Life by dultmax(op): 7:32am On Dec 08, 2016
Here are some lessons based on my experience in life….

1. Love is never enough reason to marry….If you love a lady so much and a “RAT” in her family is not happy with the union…..Please leave even if she tells you it is just a RAT….That RAT might turn out to be a “god” they worship in their family

2. If you are in a serious relationship with a “poor guy” and a “rich guy” is asking for your hand in marriage….My dear, if you love the “rich guy” marry him because of the love….don’t marry him cos of money. Money only gives him an edge over the poor guy

3. Don’t break the relationship because he is “poor”. Not all ladies are destined to marry rich guys.

4. There is a huge difference between being wealthy and being happy. Set your priorities right. If you want wealth, take your “job” serious, if you want happiness, take your “life” serious

5. Sometimes, the only tool some ladies have to get your attention is to say bad things about you. Not all the time they intend to hurt you with their bad mouth

6. I never hurt anyone, why is someone trying to hurt me?...I laff in Swahili…the reason why people is trying to hurt you most times is beyond your comprehension

7. Physical and spiritual growth has no alternative to survive the hurdles of this life.

8. Sorcery, spells, voodoo, charms are the cheapest and the most common weapon people will use to fight you. Be prepared

9. Running away from sin is the best; however committing a sin to save your life shouldn’t be something you live to regret. Just say Astagfirllah ..Allah will forgive you.

10. When you are in dilemma about choosing between what God wants and pleasing fellow humans…I advice you please your fellow humans…God forgives….Humans doesn’t.

11. For critics about quotes 9 and 10….Remember the hadith of the prophet (SAW) which makes Haram something you can eat in times when Hallal is unavailable…be wise.

12. Don’t expect any help from “rich people” close to you. They will disappoint you after giving them your best.

13. You pray and Allah haven’t answer your prayers….relax my dear, he is only testing your faith. Paradise is meant only for those who believes and gives glad tidings.

14. Everyone in this world have their own problems. If you think yours is much, hear out what others have to say and you will have reasons to embrace your problems and say ALHAMDULILLAH

15. Heaven and hell is not free… you attitude takes you either to heaven or to hell. Judge yourself…if you die today, where do you think you will end up?

16. It is wiser for you to marry a “bad girl” from a good home than to marry a “good girl” from a bad home. Do some background checks about the family of that good girl before you propose.

17. A man has been wooing you for about a year now and you still think he is not “good enough” for you. Surely you will end up with someone who will not even value you.

18. You broke the heart of the first man cos ur heart tells you he is not good for you, another man comes and your family rejected him and so you break his heart too…I pity you…None of them will forgive you. You should have consulted your heart and family before starting up any relationship with them in the first place

19. When you sin against God you say “Astghfirllah” is there any word in the holy books you will say when you sin against people? Be prepared for the consequence

20. Don’t call people to “WAR” when you know you will retreat. It will appear to them as if you sent them on a suicide mission and may never forgive you for that.

21. If an “OLD WOMAN” determines the future of her family members where they have “ADULT MALE CHILDREN” hmmm evil forces are ruling

22. When a woman decided to deal with you…even the devil will cry for you. Beware of women.

23. You threatened to kill me if I ever show up in your door step again…I laff in baruba…does showing up at your door step increase my account balance?…mtchew..NONSENSE

24. A busty lady asks “D 1, wont you cut your beards?” I replied..reduce your boobs and I will cut my beards…she said it is endowment I also said my beards is also endowment…she smiles and calls me a bastard…am I a bastard?

25. All those ladies who fell victims of my playboy life should please forgive me. I’ve turned a new leaf and now ready to compensate them with some token…just send your account details to my inbox…you will receive alert before Monday.

26. Remember to add the reason for the break up in the message…. I will not compensate you if you are the one that call off the relationship

27. I have decided to love again..so if you are single and searching, then chat me up…we might get married.

28. Age is not a factor but the older you are….the richer you must be. I won’t entertain anyone above 35 who still expects me to take responsibilities of her kids from another father

29. Don’t laugh at my quotes. I don’t intend to make you laff…all I want is for you to learn from my experience.
30. For those who wants to know why the lady in quote 24 wants me cut my beards.... I've added pictures of me with and without beards for you to judge.

Thanks for reading

RomanceRe: 5 Reasons Why You May End-up In A Bad Marriage. by dultmax(m): 5:43pm On Feb 17, 2016
diva90:
Well said! These are actually so true... Another big problem is financial differences... Many people don't think it out at the initial stage but money is always a big problem in many marriages. We have seen women cheat because their husband cannot take care of them/afford them the lifestyle that they want and we have seen marriages break apart because of irreconcilable differences due to finance. So it's good to weigh in finance into top consideration before deciding if you both are ready for that long tough journey
if you marry a guy cos of his high financial status and suddenly a tsunami hit is account, and then you cheat....you are a complete LovePeddler.....marrriage goes beyond looks, finance, sect of religion, family status, morals...etc....marriage is the complete love you have for someone and you still cant find the reason you cannot be without that person
PoliticsRe: This Is Wot Change Is; (PMB Should See This) by dultmax(m): 3:31pm On Nov 29, 2015
i am sorry to say this....but it is just my own opinion anyway...there is no need to be sorry

...tanzania president has done something, and you think that represents change...if you look at Nigerian context...you should also commend the president and pray for the country (biafrans should agitate for their country...this comment is for Nigerians only)

i want you to ask yourself this question

What is the Population of Tanzania and what is their GDP...(gross domestic product)
compare tanzania population to that of our country..compare their GDP

what are the challenges naija is facing before the change...compare it to the challenges tanzania is facing before the change...(study the level of damage and then compare)

Thank God you didnt include things like ...how he manage its economy despite low GDP and how he give one million people jobs and how he bailed out states that were unable to pay salaries before he took over.

Sentiments aside...We are blessed with good leaders like GEJ and PMB....GEJ might wrong a lot of people...but he is a hero....as far as i am concerned, he might jeopardize the system by condemning the polls and that makes him part of the change....

PMB on the other hand is a leader...it is not easy to unseat a president if you dont have the records that worth it...(the heat of the polity at that time is enough to decide)

I am not saying i am happy with the current economic situation in the country but as an ECONOMIST....when there is a problem, we fix it with policies...some policies work on the short run while some will work on the long run.

I will start my critics after i read the next year budget (PMB is not responsible for this yrs budget)

GOD BLESS THE PRESIDENT (PMB)
GOD BLESS GEJ
GOD BLESS NIGERIA
GOD BLESS YORUBA
GOD BLESS MY FAMILY
GOD BLESS ME

PoliticsRe: Should CBN Print More Money To Aid Our Dwindling Economy? by dultmax(m): 10:09am On Oct 31, 2015
goods and services produced in an economy are the key determinant of the value of a country's currency. Nigeria has a country lost its chances to improve its economy and add value to its currency when the price of crude oil rises to about 140$ per barrel. what this means is that the country earns more dollars (which is the center piece currency in the forex market) and as such should have a high impact on naira. However, naira does not appreciates during these years and this actually goes against economic indicators. However the only factor that can be responsible for these means that as the country is earning more dollars, so also is something taking away the dollars from the country and that is another concept of money laundery. in simple terms, the country now sell crude oil around 50 dollar per barrel which is the reason for the sharp decline in the nations revenue base and a reason why we need to source for another means to earn dollars which they now call diversification. The economy will fix itself if other sectors like Agriculture, Mining, can be developed . printing more money will devalue our currency and thats inflation.

Thanks to everyone. I appreciate the insults and the advices, especially those who call it propaganda. Now i know that even if some people see another man on their woman, they will stll call it propaganda. As per the man that asked about my survey result and how it is impossible to carry out a nationwide survey with 500k, I think you should ask me for the Topic and the sources of my data before concluding on the cost of the survey....however, the first rule given to me before accepting to conduct the survey is that it is confidential....i would have attach a copy of my gantt chart and the cost breakdown. Those who gave advice on what i should do with 500k should know the money is for the job....not profit....i paid four other guys who helped me with data collection and data coding. THANKS SO MUCH....a word is enough for the wise....
CareerI Lost My Job Because Of My Love For Buhari...( No Regrets) by dultmax(op): 1:22pm On Oct 05, 2015
You are fired.......This is what my boss told me this morning because of my love for Buhari.

After completing my service year in 2013,holding a Bsc in Economics, I knew I had to hussle real hard because now I know am on my own. My father has done something by funding my education and I have to stop asking him for money but the situation of the country puts me in a status I can call ADULT CHILD.

I will wake up and ask my old man for pocket money which sometimes he will give and sometimes he will not. I have many things to do with money that are needs. I have to look good, eat, shave, and wash but sometimes i can be so broke that there will be no kobo to even buy 20 naira Ariel to wash my boxers. Life seems to be so difficult and I say to myself, I have to find a solution.

I picked my laptop and i went to NCC, (Nigerian Communication Centre) located in Agbowo area in Ibadan, a place where i can get a free wireless to access the internet and I logged on to the the Job and Vacancies Section on Nairaland where I applied for some vacancies posted online. Before the end that week, I started seeing text messages of Interview Invite on my Phone and I was happy thinking I can Never fail an Interview.

My first Interview was at JUMIA and its worth an experience. It was an interview based on 5 stages, which includes writing skill, typing skill, oral, phone conversation and finally an interview with the boss. To cut the story short, I am never get pass the oral stage. Maybe because my dialect is the YORUBA ENGLISH type.

I attended another interview with Stanbic Bank and i was given the DSA (Direct Sales Agent) position. I was referred to Workforce to do some documentation before i read some posts about the externalities of marketing and what i found was mind bugling. I refused to continue with the process since I don't think I can meet up with the Target.

Finally, I met one Business man, The CEO of Hasraph Global Services who after giving me some interview, decided to give me the position of Personal Assistant. He said there will be no salary but i should be sure of a token everyday i come to work and weekend bonus.

I accepted since there will be some token and I have no other option. I took up the Job and things were better. At least, i can boast of 1000 naira anytime and that can take care of some needs. I know the situation will be temporary.

Just one day, i received a call from a colleague who asked if i can conduct a Survey for him. Without hesitation, I accepted and he gave me the topic to work on but the survey has the whole country as its scope. This seems to be very challenging because I have no experience of such wide scope and i have to read and work on the best analytical tool to use for. I employed for other colleague and we covered 5 geo-political zones of the country excluding the North East due to insecurity (Boko Haram)

I recieved 500k for the Job and i completed the Survey in 2 months. My results were to be presented to AJOLAYE INTEGRATED SERVICES who funded the project in a conference room situated in a Hotel in Oyo. This is my first experience meeting with doctors and professors defending my survey results and explaining my method of analysis.

I received a pass mark and commendations and i felt very happy. I never told anyone it was my first experience and now i know the reasons why we need to study chi square, binomial theorem and all those econometrics while in the University.

I resumed back as the P.A and anytime my boss talks about the present Administration, he criticizes him and I told him...Sir if you know what the previous administration has cost this country, you will know buhari is a messiah. I told him from my survey, I got lot of experience and I learnt a lot about statistics and data. The previous Administration has ruined this country. he got angry and told me that his turnover has declined and as such, this administration is very poor. I interrupted again telling him it was due to dwindling oil prices and its not the fault of the President. He got angry and said YOU ARE FIRED....I left for my house....asking myself....am i wrong to support the President?

Your opinion is needed.....

Exactly how our leaders want us to think.
op...note this...
Not everyone can learn handwork
not everyone can go to school
not everyone as a rich father
not everyone can be politician
In summary...if some people decided to campaign because they are unemployed. ..they might be doing so to get a job slot if the politician eventually emerge as the winner.

Dont condem people. You dont know how hard things are for them. That is because of poor economic condition.

If we don't stand together to fight for our future, then who will?
it is time to study our politicians, and select who can make Nigeria a better place. You can use facts to encourage people on why you are campaigning for someone.

If God has answered your prayers, then leave politics for those who know the decision they make in the polls can shape their lives.
BusinessRe: What Can He Do With His 350k Contribution? by dultmax(m): 12:29pm On Mar 11, 2015
350k if spend wisely on business can yield millions, however, investing it on a business which you have no adequate knowlegde of is a very great risk. Advising you on what kind of business requires you to answer few questions...
What do you do?
What is the level of commitment you have?
Do you have another source of running cost?
what kind of business experience do you have?
Businesses kind be in form of buying and selling and can also be in form of production

Example, if you intend going into snailery or fishing, it is like you are producing and it will take some time before you can talk of profit. However, any mistake while rearing snails or fishes can destroy your investment and you might blame people whi introduced you to the business.

Buying and selling also have its own nature. Example, if you intend buying 22 tonnes of grannite from quarry and distribute it to local vendors, it will take four days before you are paid but before you will be allowed to load in a quarry, you must employ someone from the inside. This means that your money is working every minute and as such, the ROI (returns on investment) is very high.

some possible problems you can face is that some vendors can hold your money for more than four days and as such, you will not be able to load. Your working money is on hold with one vendor.
Another is the capital market and fx market. These markets are also very risky. Statistics shows that it has ruined more people more than those who made it from them.

Careful study of who you are and your experience will really go a long way in advising you on what you can invest on.

Thanks
