Incredible response to Zenith's result yesterday, just incredible. |
NextProdigy:Next time if you're not quoted and if you don't know the right response to a post, just move along instead of quoting rashly and irrationally. Thanks. |
NextProdigy:Someone who's already speculating that the price may further drop on Friday is advertising that he bought at a high price on Tuesday, that's the part i don't understand. Why not wait till Friday, when he's sure the price will drop further, to buy? |
They want to come up with new ways of helping their husbands launder money. House of Reps members know they're been constantly monitored by the EFCC thanks to BVN. No more magomago. The only other way to do magomago is through their spouses and family members, hence this retreat. |
^^^^^ I don't understand the rationale for buying dollars high when you know the price will eventually drop. Can you kindly explain please. Maybe i'll learn something new today. |
OBAGADAFFI:I was jumping when I saw N13.64 on morgan in the morning, only for some people to take down to N13. The journey has started anyway. |
Mpeace:Bros a div of 1.55 at N12 is roughly 12.9% yield. A div of 1.77 at N15 is roughly 11.9%. So what exactly are you on about? ![]() |
Mpeace:Poor? with a yield of 11%? ucap's yield was just 13% when results came in. Besides this is better, albeit by 2k, than the traditional 1.75 from zenith. |
These politicians are starting to realise that running to London and America with your loot is more dangerous than staying in Nigeria and defending yourself. All the EFCC will do in case you run is to supply the foreign government with evidence of your criminality and they'll try and convict you shap shap, rather than staying in Nigeria where you can hire one useless SAN to delay your case in court for 10 years till the judge sef is tired of hearing the matter come up. That's what Obanikoro was wise enough to decipher and what Deiziani was too stupid to realise. |
The overblown one we had before nko? The one with puff puff mouth that couldn't open her mouth to say NO when Dasuki and the ineffectual Buffon were always asking for dollars? With all her Harvard and Yale certs, she couldn't open her mouth to just say NO! IBO kor Igbo weed ni |
The DSS of today is headed by a rogue and a nepotistic thief. Daura that has been trying to get rid of Magu and every other person involved in the anti corruption fight. Daura that that helped coverup the dollar theft at Saraki's house in Abuja last year. The same Daura that tried to rope Magu in with AVM Umar's corruption case, blatantly lying that Magu took trips on his private jet. The DSS of today has become a criminal organisation with no spokesperson and an incompetent fool whose only concern is to kill the anti corruption fight in Nigeria and ignore the myriad of security challenges facing this country. I'm taking this story with the tiniest pinch of salt because I know there's more to it than meets the eye. Daura may be trying to frame someone else this time. |
This Buhari health saga has entered the realm of the ridiculous. We have a President who has refused to work but instead went to London to "rest". We're then bombarded with rumours of how our " resting" President was poisoned, or is undergoing prostrate cancer treatment, or ear infection treatment etc. This So called President has refused to clear the air as to what exactly is wrong with him. Instead he's busy "resting" and making phone calls to a select few. Buhari is must be pathetic, reckless and irresponsible if he thinks he can continue running a country of 200 million people like this. This is just ridiculous. |
Saraki and Melaye, two stinking and disgusting court jesters. |
Adminisher:This is a very stupid and ignorant post. Only a certified idiot will fault anything that Professor said, whether he's a fake personality or not. What kind of president abandons a country of 200 million people for 2 months without stating why or what is wrong with him, leaving everyone to guess and speculate? That's the height of irresponsibility and recklessness. The same recklessness and irresponsibility he exhibited when he delayed appointing any minister for an entire 6 months! in a country that was about sliding into a recession. He wants the entire population of 200 million people to pause their lives and move at the pace of a sick 74 year old man. Absolutely crazy and negligent like the professor said. If you can't find any fault in this, you must be equally as negligent and clueless as this our sick AWOL President. |
felixomor:I totally agree with you. Buhari is to blame for this nonsense. He started all this nonsense by keeping a country of 200million people in suspense and totally ignorant of what exactly is wrong with him. We have a President we haven't seen for 2months and whose aides keep releasing press statements supposedly from him saying he's resting. Of course people are going to speculate! Instead of him to come out and say exactly what the problem is, he has refused. Buhari is fast becoming part of the problems of Nigeria rather than the solution. If any violence should erupt as a result of this unnecessary speculation, Buhari should be held responsible. |
I don't subscribe to this tribalism and all the other rubbish. We have rumour mongers everywhere, in every part of the world. There are people who derive pleasure in inciting others and causing mayhem. We have them in the US, in the UK, everywhere. The difference between Nigeria and these other countries is that we don't have the appropriate Law enforcement channels to bring these sadistic people to book. We have a Police force that is not even trained to counter these kinds of threats. We have a federal security agency (DSS) that is headed by a scumbag from the village of the President whose loyalty is only to the President, not even to the country. We need to develop the appropriate channels for taking care of the sadists, rumour mongers and violence inciters amongst us. Please you people should not start crying Hausa this and Igbo that. It has nothing to do with tribe. Its just a devilish minority amongst us that we can't seem to deal with. |
This is a very amateur and cheap attempt at image laundering by the Sun newspapers and their sponsors. So many lies in this article. For instance who denounced the claim that the house the EFCC screened on Al-jazeera doesn't belong to Maduekwe? Has the Sun newspapers investigated and found out that the house truly doesn't belong to Maduekwe or are they relying on her rebuttal which came as an afterthought? People should stop bringing articles from The Sun newspapers and dailytimes. These are papers with shameless vested interests. |
OBAGADAFFI:You probably don't use morgan. My order at N12.60 was filled in seconds. |
Manonamission:I think that's the perception they're trying to create, that with production closing in on 2.2million barrels and price nearing USD60, they have the capacity to sustain the outrageous weekly intervention they started this week. But i think the CBN governor's real intention is to grow our reserves well enough to inspire confidence in FPI's and FDI's. Its like killing two birds with a stone. The difference between previous interventions and this one is that the speculators knew the CBN couldn't sustain the interventions in the past because of the low crude production and low prices. They always called the bluff of the CBN in the past. I'd love to see them try it this time. Except of course and like you alluded to, Godisfaithful plants a dynamite on a pipeline in the Nigerdelta and blasts it ![]() |
Manonamission:I seriously do not hope and think the CBN will use the gains from the rise in oil price and production to continue pumping USD 600million into the Fx market every week. That would be very irresponsible. |
Willie2015:They would have studied the history of their past interventions and the attendant effects. I think the aim of this most recent intervention is to shrug off the speculative demand in the market. If they can get the price so low as to trigger off massive sell-offs from the speculators, future demand will take care of itself with liquidity from the speculators themselves. Thank God the ones we have here have even started confessing that they're selling off their dollar portfolios. I think N400 is their emotional threshold. I'm very anxious to see the reaction on the fx market once it touches N400. |
Manonamission:The volumes say otherwise. I entered at N12.60 today thanks to obagadaffi's post earlier today. |
Now i'm certain that buhari is just a sick and irresponsible power hungry drunk. You leave a country you're supposed to be presiding over for whole two months without letting the people you're presiding over what exactly is wrong with you! Getting treatment on our money! Acting like this is a fuc**g monarchy! Insulting anyone that questions what exactly is wrong with him! What sort of idiocy is this? And to think i was busy defending this idiot when it took him a whole 6 months to appoint ministers. Does this frail stupid man want a country of 200 million to move at his own pace? The national assembly should do the needful and impeach this guy because he's clearly not capable of discharging his duties due to his health. Lets call a spade a spade! Nigeria is too big and dynamic to be waiting for one old man holded up on one hospital bed in London ![]() |
Nellybii:Please stop the blind a d stupid comparison. Donald Trump has not been holed up in the hospital for 2months awaiting test results. Donald trump didn't similarly spend a month in London last year treating an ear infection. When Hillary collapsed during that parade last year, it was such a big issue and her medical records were made very public, same with Donald. In our case, we have a sick 74 year old on our hands who is undergoing treatment with our money for an ailment we know nothing about, who has been on medical leave for 2months now and is even begging for more time away from work! All In a 4 year term! Very ridiculous! See I've been a fan of Buhari for God knows how long but I will not stand and support any irresponsible behaviour. The same way he held us all hostage for 6 months before appointing ministers. We cannot continue to move at this mans pace, we're in a recession! We need a vibrant and energetic leader to pull us out of it! Buhari should go home, treat himself and spend his last days with his family. Yes he has tried and yes we will miss him. Period! |
The OP of this thread should be very careful not to Incite people and have blood on his hands. Which of the Fulani people in the picture was interviewed and quoted as saying his members were killed by Christians? Who told you they said their members were killed by Christians? Even the mod should be very careful of allowing any idiot with no knowledge about the implication of his posts, bring unverified and irresponsible topics to the front page. Nairaland is viewed by people in far flung places of this country. Please OP and Mod don't let the devil use you to cause chaos. |
I'm just curious as to who exactly goes to this COZA church. COZA people please this question is for you. You have a pastor that committed adultery with a worker in the church, this pastor is yet to confess and seek the forgiveness of his church for this indiscretion. He has even succeeded in leading the poor girl away from Christ because she openly denounced Jesus! This same pastor is so vain and materialistic, flaunting expensive bags, driving expensive cars and flying in private jets whether charted or borrowed. And you, COZA church members still to to his church and drop your tithes and offering! What exactly does he preach to you guys every Sunday? I'm very curious. |
The honorable thing for Buhari to do is disclose his health condition, resign and spend as many months as possible taking care of himself and spending time with his family. He's 74! This is not just a phase, this is old age beckoning and telling him to get his house in order! Resign and take care of yourself! The presidency is not your birthright and this is not a monarchy! We're in a recession and inflation is rising with the attendant spike in prices! More and more people are sliding below the poverty line! We need a strong leader to pull us out! We don't need this nonsense distraction! Please resign and let a stronger person take over! |
I pity the people of Ondo state. They are in for another miserable 4 years. An incoming governor that has promised not to go after an incumbent that has stolen and is still even stealing up till the last minute. Akeredolu has bleeped up even before becoming governor. In Katsina because of Masari's doggedness, Shema the ex governor is refunding billions into the coffers of the state. Same with Ortom in Benue and Badru in Jigawa. And the one who is supossed to know better, an educated SAN is busy hobnobbing with a common thief! With all our education in the south, we're still nothing but common criminals. |
Thinking of gate crashing into FCMB tomorrow. Lemme come and see what all d hype is about. an EPS of >90k FY 2016 should comfortably cough out at least 10 - 15k ![]() |
I've been supporting Buhari for a while now but i think its selfish and irresponsible for a leader who's 74 and who has to check into the hospital almost every month or the other, to act and pretend like nothing is wrong and withhold information about his health from a country of about 200 million people. Its just the height of irresponsibility! At 74 and with serious health issues, the responsible thing to do is announce to the nation what exactly it is your health challenges are and try to get their support. If you're spending 2 months now in the hospital as a 74 year old president on a 4 year term, Its irresponsible to put the entire country on pause because of your health. That's how he spent 6 months appointing ministers! Buhari should act like the responsible leader i think he is and either disclose information about his health or resign so that a stronger and agile Osinbajo can take over. Enough of this nonsense! |
If this our bros with 20 million units of FCMB eventually turns out to be right and FCMB does touch N1.8 sometime this year, it would translate to a profit of nothing less than N10M, excluding dividend. If it does happen, that would be the trade of the year. I will personally write a book in his honor. |
The dollar holders in the house have been unusually quiet, or maybe they're too busy looking for bad news online ![]() |
