Who is this OP spamming the frontpage with false info this morning? Nigeria's crude production as at Yesterday was 2 million barrels per day. Where is this fake website the OP quoted getting its own figures from or are they plotting to bomb pipelines? Lalasticlala should try to verify stories before pushing to frontpage. This is terribly false news. http://punchng.com/crude-oil-production-rises-two-million-barrels-kachikwu/ |
OP please where is your link This is suspicious news. Nigeria's oil production is currently 2 million barrels per day, 200,000 barrels short of the budget benchmark of 2.2million barrels per day. When the Forcados pipeline comes on stream in the next 2 months, production may even surpass the benchmark budget rate. Except someone is plotting to blow pipelines soon, these people hoarding dollars are in for a big surprise and massive losses. |
I'm really liking the intellectual discourse on one hand, and then the open display of ignorance and stupidity by that deluded and hateful nuclear person. The irony of the moniker and the posts sef. Hatred is very toxic and even breeds ignorance, strong bigoted and brazenly stupid ignorance. Mr nuclearwinter please go and cure yourself of hate first of all, and then your ignorant and brazen stupidity. |
NuclearWinter:Oga stop chasing shadows. Let's be factual and specific. Why did AMCON take over the airlines? They refused to service the bad loans they took from the banks, banks that sold these debts to AMCON. Last week, the Nigerian aviation round table and AMCON itself released a statement on why Arik Air was taken over by AMCON. Arik stopped servicing its over N130 billion debt to AMCON and the EFCC even had to be called in so Mr Aruremi Johnson, the owner of the Airline would explain what he used the loan for as there was nothing on ground to indicate the money was applied to the airline. Those are the facts. I haven't stated anything political, just plain facts. Continue deluding yourself with all this zombie and wailer nonsense. |
This take over has nothing to do with recession. These people simply borrowed money from banks and refused to apply the loans for the purpose they were taken. They used the loans to carry girls and contest for governorship in their States. They probably thought they would do the usual and the banks would just write off the loans without hounding them. That "eat your cake and have it" mentality is dying gradually thanks to AMCON. If you take any loan from the bank and use the money to carry girls, just know that AMCON will buy that debt from the bank and take over your business, like pulling the rug from under your feet. We're no longer in the era of the ineffectual Buffon. |
Wonder where the FCMB manipulators are this morning, or maybe they've seen the 2016 FY results ![]() |
They look like children of treasury looters. |
I'm so very disappointed in Buhari. I remember when Yar'adua was down with sickness and flown abroad, Buhari condemned the secrecy. Today in a similar situation, he's doing the same thing. His handlers are trying very hard to make him relevant from the UK with this stupid phone call. Its just shameful. I'm sincerely tired of the man. He should go in peace or in a bag for all I care, but let someone with a little bit more honesty take over. Buhari has been an anticlimax. |
I personally don't watch it not cos of the loose morals but because the idea of sitting down to focus on people talking and laughing like hyenas just irritates me. Only real losers with no lives of their own and no serious "action" in their lives sit down to watch big brother. And coincidentally all the losers I know happen to be addicts to this show. |
Good to see all those offer manipulators on fidelity taking a back sit and swerving over to fcmb |
Everybody working at cross purposes. Wike is trying to have an ally in Aso rock seeing as Buhari, daura and Amaechi have marked him down as a thug, bribe giver and cultist. Daura even threatened to deal with him. Osinbajo is trying to please the people of the ND irrespective of their political affiliations and perceived crimes. He's bending down back a lot, I'm sure to the charging of everyone in the FEC that has a grouse with Wike. I'm sure Osinbajo convinced Amaechi to accompany him on the trip. Osinbajo, unlike Buhari, wants to compromise for the sake of placating the people of the ND in general. Amaechi will be very disappointed in the VP because he's already been able to convince everyone, including Buhari and Daura and even the IGP, that Wike is bad news. He'll feel the VP is pulling him back and "scattering" his work. |
From my very little experience on the market, I know these market markers set up some stocks to fly very high and then tumble very bad, irrespective of fundamentals. We've seen it on staco, Ikeja hotels, fcmb (2015), Oando 2015/2016, FO recently and now FCMB again. A good stock will fly irrespective of manipulation. All this last minute manipulation i keep seeing on FCMB brings back bad memories. I just hope lightening won't strike twice. |
josite:This argument does not hold water at all. There are several other lawyers that handle briefs for and against the EFCC. There is no conflict of interest at all as long as the cases are completely unrelated. |
Sahara reporters has been screaming to us since last year about the antics of Malami, kyari and daura and we've not been paying attention. Malami must be the dumbest man alive. The same person who's busy hounding his predecessor Adoke for shady deals and corruption is now busy engaging himself in shady deals. The same way he wants to disgrace Adoke is the same way he will be disgraced. |
If its a private coy go ahead and report, the executive or owners may even reward you. If its government work, oga just mind your business and face your lane. |
The only thing those people from that part of the country understand is money. They don't know what it means to be in opposition. They may as well just decamp to the PDP and save us all the drama. |
I'm waiting for their agbero governor, or that son of a prick FFK, or the spokesperson of that ineffectual Buffon Reno to come and call this a Christian vs Muslim thing like they always love to do. Any right thinking person that actually went to school would have heard of the Pastorialist vs farmers conflict that has raged on in Nigeria for so long. It is assuming a more dangerous dimension now because of global warming, water scarcity and the the conflict in the NE which has pushed pastoralists down south to search for grazing land, land that farmers in the south use for growing crops. So when evil and dark people like the agbero and false prophet Fayose, the bastard and thief from Ife, FFK and that spokesperson of the husband of the "Skye bank dollar madam" Reno, come out to make this thing a Christian vs Muslim thing, you should know their real motives. These are people who would rather cause chaos so the system can collapse, than allow the system punish them for their theft and money laundering. That is the game plan of these people and they will fail. |
brojoshua:Take it out on the judiciary. The EFCC has hundreds of cases in the courts. The judges are always playing to the antics of criminal lawyers like Joseph daudu and kanu agabi. See how long Saraki's case has dragged on at the CCB! Same as metuh and that criminal bastard FFK. Even the agbero in Ekiti seems to have the support of the judiciary in his money laundering activities. |
4Play:You're deliberately being foolish! You're just quoting figures without sense. Why did FDI and FPI into Nigeria decrease within the period you quoted? Foreign investors couldn't make any dollars in Nigeria again and repatriate! Because we no longer had the dollars to give them! oil fell from USD110 to USD 30. FPI's and FDI's are not charity organisations, they go after the dollars and exit when you can't guaranty their dollars. They all left because the ineffectual Buffon drained our reserves from >USD60billion when he came to >USD33billion when he left. A large chunk of it ended up with the likes of mama peace, diezani, yakubu, aluko and omokare. |
Sacluxpaint:The plans, designs and contracts for this VP residence were awarded during Jonathan's tenure. Osibanjo has even been quoted as saying he doesn't need the house! Buy since substantial work has already been done, abandoning it will be more wasteful than completing it. Jonathan and that crooked Bala Mohammed were the ones that awarded the N250 million gate contract. |
I hope this man is smart enough to realise that these people around him don't give a hoot about his welfare. They care only about their ethnic loyalties, their families and their bank accounts. The only people that would have cared at all, his immediate family, he has ostracised. A seventy something year old man that is being tossed around Anyhow by selfish monsters. The VP cannot even intervene out of sympathy because those ethnic hawks from the north will read meaning into even the slightest gesture. I just pity the man. He will die a very lonely death. |
I see simulation rooms and a block of office apartments. I don't see a ship anywhere. OP should endeavour to reqd carefully before posting topics. |
This case is simple legal fireworks. The precedence that this case will set up when it is eventually decided will be an interesting reference point for future cases, and for law students in school. Fayose took money from the NSA no doubt, and that money is in his Zenith bank account. The EFCC tried to get a judge to freeze the account because it contained proceeds of corruption. Justice Taiwo of the FHC Ekiti said the freeze order was illegal because Fayose enjoys immunity. Now what do we do with the account because the owner enjoys immunity, but the contents are still proceeds of corruption? Simple! Whenever the money leaves the account whose owner enjoys immunity, the EFCC gets hold of the money because the immunity would have no effect once outside the immuned account. The money still remains proceeds of corruption or laundered money. The EFCC is absolutely right on this, legally at least. I'm waiting for the judicial verdict on this one. The judgement will set a very interesting precedent. |
Some Nigerians are too foolish to be saved! You don't know your real enemies seriously! If you believe a thug and a murderer over the entire institution of the police, then you're as good as a thug yourself. We all heard Wike on tape TWICE!!!! boasting with that agbero in Ekiti about his murderous exploits. We heard him again threatening to murder those that collected money and didn't want to cooperate. After all these, some of you still have the liver to be defending that murderous viper. You're all mad people, beyond salvation. If I hear any of you complain about the situation of Nigeria again, I'll swear for you big time. If you see Wike and don't see the problem of Nigeria, you're insane! |
PatriotTemidayo:Another ignorant post. This Years budget is more or less a continuation of the budget if the previous year. What the NASS is doing now is checking fund release from the previous years budget and hedging against work done. The monies that were unreleased in addition to new projects will be captured in this years budget. |
orlawaley06:Rotimi is concerned about the money because without it he can't work! When will Nigerians start thinking with their brains for Christ's sake! We don't have any money again! Oil is selling low, our receipts from oil can't build anything! We have to borrow to start and complete projects! Its common sense! If we don't borrow, nothing will get done because there won't be any money to get anything done! By borrowing, we're injecting money into the economy, creating jobs for the Nigerians that will build the rails, transferring knowledge from the Chinese expertraits to the Nigerian engineers and supporting thousands of families that will depend on these Nigerian workers that will be gainfully employed from the construction of these projects. That's even aside the benefits of the project itself! The loan is almost interest free unlike IMF or cross country syndicated or bilateral loans. You guys should try and sit down, read and understand these things before coming out to say rubbish. |
Anticorruption:You think the one in Lagos has had a "fairytale" construction? Do you live in Lagos at all? Do you know the number of times the state government has pushed the completion date? Do you know the number of loans and bonds the government has taken to keep this project moving? Please stop talking rubbish about what you know nothing of, its irritating. That of Rivers was even more transparent and the timeframe was even more realistic than that of Lagos but that murderer and thief preferred building an NBA state secretariat. Stop defending the indefensible. |
foxvilles:We can't peg the destiny of an ongoing project to that of another ongoing project, especially in recession where people are demanding immediate results. We need immediate coastal access for our exports through the rails. We also need to improve intra regional commerce within the country and boost production. Ajaokuta is a long way before completion. We can't expect our country wide railway project to wait till we start producing steel. |
Anticorruption:The joke is in you and that clown in rivers called Wike. Lagos has been building its own monorail for close to a decade bow. Abuja's own is nearing completion since it was conceptualised in 2008/2009, cross rivers built theirs in years. Lagos has been revising the cost if its own upwards almost yearly because of currency fluctuation and unplanned Costs, and irrespective of the governor in charge. But that clown and murderer in Rivers cancelled the monorail project in Rivers and instead started building a "befitting" Secretariat for the NBA in Port Harcourt. The same with that Agbero in Ekiti. Fayose cancelled several legacy projects of his predecessor and instead started building "befitting" secretariats for the PDP and NURTW It won't take long before people of Rivers will start to realise the very fatal mistake they made by allowing Wike continue as governor (though he rigged and bribed himself in). When the people of rivers see the monorails in Lagos, Abuja and Cross rivers working, they'll start wondering why they allowed that idiot cancel theirs and Amaechi will tell them "I told you so" |
