The financial institution had in a recent report PREDICTED THAT BUHARI WILL LOST THE 2019 ELECTION.

R. Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, has been accused of Sexually Defiling his 14-year-old cousin.

Carey Kelly, the singer’s brother, in his track ‘I confess’ had accused R Kelly of spreading Sexually Transmitted Disease (STDs).

The track, which is a response to R. Kelly’s 19-minute song ‘I admit’, further revealed that the singer defiled their 14-year-old cousin and got her pregnant.

The oldest son of the Sultan of Sokoto, Usman Sa’ad Abubakar, whose name is Amir Abubakar, has been involved in an accident.

Amir was said to be driving at a very high speed of about 200km/hr around 12noon along Sokoto Airport Road, in Bado area, when the accident occured.

The Presidency has rejected allegations by
opposition politicians and their cohorts that
President Muhammadu Buhari declined
assent to the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill
2018, because he was against e-voting and
the use of card readers in the 2019
elections.

It made this known on Sunday in a

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant
on Media and Publicity to the President.
According to the statement, the President’s
recent decision to decline assent to the Bill
had no effect on the Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC)’s use of card
readers for next year’s polls.

It further clarified that the issue was not
raised either by the Executive or the
Legislature in the latest review of the Bill
that was declined.

Prior to the upcoming governorship election in Osun State, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has acused the federal government of secretly releasing the sum of N16.6 billion Paris Club refund to the state.

POP alleged that part of the fund was meant to “bribe” leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support Buhari’s re-election bid.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says Nigerians should not vote Bukola Saraki as President during the 2019 Presidential Election.

Acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, noted that Saraki is “extremely selfish, deceitful, untrustworthy and unreliable”.



“His only goal is to get to the top, stay at the top, ruin or wreck whatever he finds there or in the event of failure, collapse the system or process,”

The Kwara State Action Committee on HIV and AIDS (KWASACA) has recorded 432 children infected with HIV/AIDS between January and June in the State.

The Coordinator of KWASACA, Dr Seleem Alabi, disclosed this at the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Kwara Chapter Week in Ilorin on Wednesday.

The programme was organised to sensitise women journalists on the importance of regular screening on HIV and AIDS.


Alabi in his presentation titled: “HIV/AIDS an Opportunistic Infection”, said that the cases recorded were from mother-to-child transmission either at birth or through breastfeeding.

He explained that when babies were exposed to infected blood or breast milk, they would be vulnerable to the condition.

The KWASACA coordinator said that HIV was a virus that lives in human blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk.

According to him, it weakens the immune system, so that the body will have a hard time fighting off common germs, viruses, fungi, and other invaders.

Alabi said that the infection would spread from person to person when certain body fluids were shared, usually during vaginal or anal sex, or when sharing drugs through injection. He said that it could also be passed to the human body from infected needles, tattoos and body piercing.

The outbreak in Borno State that claims the lives of 14 persons from suspected acute watery diarrhoea has been confirmed by the state Government.

The state Commissioner for Health, Haruna Mshellia, made the disclosure on Wednesday during a press conference in Maiduguri.

He said a total of about 250 acute watery diarrhoea cases had been treated so far.



“Like I said last time, we sent samples to the National Laboratory in Abuja. I can officially confirm that there are eight positive cholera outbreaks in some areas in the state,”

President Buhari’s brother in-law, Mahmoud Halilu Ahmed, joins Adamawa State governorship race under the platform of the Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sahara Reporters, reported that President Buhari’s brother-in-law, Mahmoud Halilu Ahmed disclosed his ambition in a letter which he addressed to the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the letter, he said:

“I am proposing to have a formal declaration of my candidacy as a gubernatorial aspirant of the APC on the 10th of September, 2018 at 12 noon in Yola.

Photos have revealed the shocking moment a little baby girl was rescued after been fund inside a pit toilet in Osun State.
A young man whose name is rAyobami, witnessed the incident revealed that the girl was rescued this morning.
Ayobami revealed that she was brought out of the toilet which was located around the Ikire campus of the University of Osun.
At the moment, no news have been reported of how she got inside the toilet or who her mother is. The baby, covered with maggots, was given a thorough bath after being rescued with a rope.

Anambra State Police Command have arrested a 14-year-old boy, whose name is revealed as Eberechi, and three others boys whose names are also revealed as Emeka Nnorue, 44, Ekene Obodoako, 27, from Ebonyi State, and Chika Obi, 28 for raping a mentally-retarded woman and kidnapping her three-year-old child at Umunze in the Orumba South Government Area of the state.

The Police revealed that the woman who gave her name as Obiuwanne from Imo state, and her child, Ifeanyichukwu, were approached by the suspects with a promise to provide them with food items and snacks.

The suspects then asked the woman and her child to follow them to an unknown destination. They carried the woman into the bush on a motorcycle, raped her and abducted her child.

The daughter of late Chief MKO Abiola, Rinsola Abiola, has dumped All Progressives Congress (APC), ending her five-year association with the party.
Rinsola made her decision known in a letter sh wrote to the party.

Letting the general public know of her decision, she tweeted:
