xwolverine: The NCA was set up to counter the sources of funding for crimes and terrorism, which trickles all the way down into the British society. According to their website, organised crime blights communities, ruins lives and costs the UK well over £20 billion each year. The current scourge of the ISIS is being funded through illegal proceeds from drugs and corrupt rich individuals in the middle east and Africa. Per the bolded, I guess you do expect the investigation to dig up the syndicated criminal outfit and terrorist group associated with Deiziani. |

Aminat508: The Office of the First Lady in Nigeria might not be constitutional but the women who have been beside past rulers in this country would forever hold their place in our memories and Nigerian history.
From the very first First Lady Flora Azikiwe to the present Aisha Buhari, Nigeria has had beautiful, strong women supporting their husbands through their regime.
And some of those women took extra care to ensure they were never going to be forgotten.
With their impeccable style and brains that most young women in this generation envy, here are the women with the biggest styles we admire
Maryam Babangida
And despite the notoriety of her husband’s tenure, by the time it was over, Mrs Babangida had empowered millions of women in Nigeria.
Court shoes, Iro and Blouse and making Ankara trendy are some of the fashion trends credited to this woman.
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the woman who single-handedly changed the way the office of the First Lady was looked at.
Victoria Gowon
She became the First Lady years after her husband Yakubu Gowon became head of state. And this was because he only married years after he assumed the position and during the civil war (which history won’t forgive him for but hey, we’re here to discuss fashion trends this time).
Anyway, Oga Gowon brought Victoria into our consciousness and if old photos are to go by, she was one stylish woman
Stella Obasanjo
The former First Lady might have been dead for almost a decade (died late 2005) but we would forever remember her style and work.Known for her petite looks and afro, the beautiful First Lady did not only look effortlessly gorgeous in anything she wore, she also made her style quite influential.
Give it up for Mrs Obasanjo, the Queen of recent First Ladies.
Hajiya Turai Umar Musa iar'Adua
is the widow of former Nigerian President and former Katsina State Governor Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. She served as the First Lady of Nigeria from 2007 until the death of her husband, President Yar'Adua, on May 5, 2010 Patience Jonathan
A lot of Nigerians might have grown impatient with Patience’s bad grammar and her husband’s regime but there is no taking away the style this woman had while in OfficeNot one to have a bad makeup day or one to wear an unflattering traditional attire, Mrs Jonathan definitely had her style and owned it while she was First Lady
Aisha Buhari
Aisha Buhari might be trying to ensure she does not “over glorify” the office of the First Lady but she cannot stop us from swooning.
The current First Lady is stylish, beautiful and elegant.
This list won’t be complete until we talk about the one stylish woman that would have influenced the face of 90s fashion if she and her husband were given the chance.
And that woman is Kudirat Abiola Kudirat Abiola
Perhaps if given the chance, this beautiful activist would have not just influenced a generation of women to be greater but would have been a fashion icon
Kudirat, the wife of Late MKO Abiola who famously fought for him while in prison is the biggest most fashionable First Lady Nigeria never had
Source:http://www.360nobs.com/2015/10/nigeria-at-55-the-most-stylish-first-ladies-naija-ever-had/ The writer of the above crap is not only an idiotic troll but indebted ignoramus. |

Yari.ba are known for too many things however there are few which ominously came to mind – loudmouth and cowardice. Each of these characteristics tends to support each other in Yari.ba. With Yari.bas’ loudmouth, they can convince ill-educated troll to tend to their biddings. As for cowardice, Yari.ba can deny him or herself the benefit of ancestral lineage in the face of aggressor. Nigeria that is bent out of shape today has the markings of Yari.ba diabolical machinations. Any Igboid who denies being Igbo or none Igboid in southern Nigeria who fans the ember of anti-Biafra sentiment had more than a mere close relationship with Yari.ba people. I lived in the Yari.ba land and played Yari.ba to the hip, they do not disappoint while on NL. They will never allow any good thing in Nigeria to exist outside Yari.ba land. The emergency of Republic of Igbo land or re-confederated Biafra or even Niger Delta Republic is regarded by domesticated Yari.ba person as a calculated endangerment to Yari.ba land.
I have no regard or feeling of humanity for any Igboid who dreamingly forgot in a moment that he or she is Igbo. There are hidden reasons why the entire ethnic groups in Nigeria except very few had to join forces, apparently egged on by their imperialist masters, to precipitate war against Biafra. The funny aspect of the entire saga is the need for “One-Nigeria” when the Yari.ba demigod in one goofy Awolowo stated that “West and East of Nigeria are as different as Ireland from Germany” and the North of Nigeria is as different from either as China”. |

BestGovernance: Amosun allegedly stalls blogger's bail
Ogun governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun may have stalled bail granted a blogger, Emmanuel Ojo by a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Abeokuta.
Ojo was arrested by the Chief Security Officer to the Governor, Katib Bilamin on Saturday at Ibara in Abeokuta and detained till Tuesday when he charged to the court.
Ojo, who was slammed with 8-count charge bothering on libel and malicious publication against Mrs Olufunso Amosun was, however, granted bail by the Presiding Magistrate.
But by 4pm when Ojo's lawyers met the bail conditions, the Magistrate was said to have allegedly declined to sign the bail documents.
Indications that Amosun had been pestering the Magistrate not to grant the bail emerged during the proceeding when some people suspected to be his personal aides had wanted to give a note to the Magistrate which he did not receive. In fact, he was angry and shouted at them to allow him do his work.
Ojo was granted bail around 11am but by 4pm when all the conditions including two sureties with N1m each were met, the Magistrate seemed to have developed a cold feat and asked them to come back tomorrow.
Ojo, who had earlier heaved a sigh of relief was immediately whisked back to the prison.
Ojo's sin was his alleged involvement in the story of Mrs Olufunsho Amosun, who was allegedly quizzed by London Police for money laundering and being in possession of US300,000, the allegation which government has denied.
Informed sources said Amosun was not happy with the charges and had vowed to keep Ojo in prison even when he had been granted bail by a court of competent jurisdiction.
A Senior Lawyer who pleaded for anonymity described Amosun's action as a slap on the judiciary and depicts him as somebody who does not have respect for the rule of law. It is good for the blogger because he and few members of his lineage might have voted for the dumbass governor under the banner of APC. |

emamos: Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, is determined to stamp out corruption and solve power problem, which have become an incessant problem in Nigeria. Osinbajo said this in his address on Tuesday at the seventh convocation of the Redeemer’s University, Ede in Osun State. The vice president said the members of the administration who were daily being confronted with the negative effect of years of massive theft of the nation’s resources were convinced that Nigeria needed to stop corruption for it to survive. He said, ” Most importantly, we must defeat the scourge that has brought us to our knees as a nation. “For those of us who daily see the damage that theft and wastage of public resources have done to us as a nation, we agree with President Muhammadu Buhari that if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill us.” “We are determined to solve the problem of power in Nigeria. Regular power supply will open up industries, will help small and media scale enterprises to do their businesses without cost of petrol and diesel and their generators. “We are determined to establish technology parks, these are specially designed places provided with power and Internet to young people interested technology as business to have a platform to operate from.” He stated that the administration would also invest in agriculture to boost food production and to create jobs for millions of Nigerians. To achieve this, the vice president disclosed that the Federal Government was cooperating seven states in the production or rice, cassava, cashew nuts and other crops. All these, he said, were efforts of the administration to bring Nigeria to the level of self sufficiency in food production. DMCA.com Protection Status

alcmene: Who else is observing this grand conspiracy to stop international flights and activities from Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
Why should the igbo traders going about their legitimate business outside the shores of the country be hounded and have their hard-earned hard currency confiscated just because they used the Enugu airport. They would prefer Igbo businessmen and women from the east flying from Lagos after long hazardous trips by road.
International flights from Enugu, which started under Odua was her main offence against the parochial Nigerian government. They have since vowed to be relentless in scuttling the flight activities in Enugu airport using dubious means.
Are there no Bureau D’Changes all over Nigeria? What about the mallams that sell cash even at street corners? How many times has useless EFCC arrested them and confiscated their money?
Why are those using the Enugu airport be compelled to pay higher than the passengers going through Lagos?? For instance, a one-way flight from lagos to Malaysia is 140k while that of Enugu ranges from 190 to 200k. Why have the Nigerian government deliberately hiked the price of airline operating license of Enugu airport and hence chased other willing airlines from the east??
It is on record that prior to Odua's ouster as the aviation minister, many notable airlines like Lufthansa were preparing operation in Enugu airport. Why have the Nigerian government decided to cripple the activities in Enugu airport by refusing to issue licence to willing airlines?? Why is it that only Ethiopian airline(substandard) operates in an internationally certified Airport of Enugu??.
It seem that this present administration is committed to frustrating Igbo men and women business, Igbo leaders should rise to defend their people especially on this era of tagging them money launders by so called efcc with their hard earned money.
Nobody can stop Igbos. Those of us still in doubt should see why they must patronise our own and move the larger part of their businesses east. I guess not every dumbass dunce will understand the diabolically means employed by the federal government of Nigeria against the Ndiigbo and people of the defunct eastern region. |

FreeGlobe: As culled from his speech at UNGA
As we engage in these annual debates, we need remind ourselves of the principles that led to the founding of the United Nations. Among those are peaceful coexistence and self-determination of peoples. In this context, Mr. President, the unresolved question of self-determination for the Palestinian people and those of Western Sahara, both nations having been adjusted by the United Nations as qualifying for this inalienable right must now be assured and fulfilled without any further delay or obstacle. The international community has come to pin its hopes on resolving the Palestinian issue through the two – states solution which recognises the legitimate right of each state to exist in peace and security. The world has no more excuses or reasons to delay the implementation of the long list of Security Council resolutions on this question. Neither do we have the moral right to deny any people their freedom or condemn them indefinitely to occupation and blockade
Is it not hypocritical for Buhari to openly declare support for the self-determination of Palestine "without any further delay" and reject to do same for Biafra.. Is this not confusion, hypocrisy or both? Nigerians like the Daura Dumbass needs to be deleted for hypocritical arrogance. |

Politics › Re: Ndigbo Won’t Be Better Off Seceding From Nigeria – Ohanaeze Advises MASSOB by Duru1(m): 10:21pm On Sep 28, 2015 |
GOATandYAMtheory: Youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, the Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, has advised those spearheading the agitations of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra that seceding from Nigeria would not be in the interest of Ndigbo.
The OYC National President, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro stated this on Saturday during a press conference in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, while unveiling plans for this year’s Igbo Youths Day slated for Monday in Umuahia.
He stressed that it is better for Ndigbo to remain in Nigeria and struggle for their fair share of the ‘national cake’ than fight for self-determination which is bound to come with consequences.
“It is better we remain in Nigeria and fight for our rights than secede. We have been patient enough and in 2019, it will be our turn to produce a Nigerian President. It will take a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction to heal the wounds of Biafra,” he stated.
Isiguzoro however called on the Federal Government to unconditionally release all members of MASSOB and other Biafran activists detained in various prisons across the country, and address injustices against Ndigbo in the country, which he noted were the major reason for the agitation for self-rule by MASSOB and other pro- Biafran groups.
He maintained that it flies in the face of reason for MASSOB members who are non-violent to continue to be held illegally for years in detention, ‘‘while the same government is busy releasing captured members of violent groups like Boko Haram and Niger Delta militants who have taken up arms against the state.”
“Since the Federal Government is secretly negotiating with Boko Haram terrorists, why can’t it also negotiate with MASSOB, which is non-violent? Since it is releasing some Boko Haram fighters, it should also consider MASSOB members detained illegally in prisons,” he added.
The OYC President however declared support for the anti-corruption crusade of President Muhammadu Buhari, stressing that those responsible for the woes of Nigeria should be brought to book.
He went on to reveal that this year’s Igbo Youths Day would be used to sensitise Igbo governors on the urgent need to invest in agriculture for youth empowerment.
In an earlier remark, Chairman of the organising committee and National Vice-Treasurer of OYC, Dr. Lawrence Dozie, gave the theme of this year’s celebration as “Ndigbo: The Challenges of our Youths.”

spectroscopic: Duru, with the level of hate going on now, you had better wish to separate under circumstances that do not involve war (which would be almost impossible). With war (the only option I see), you as an Igbo man will not get a dime of your investment in other parts of Nigeria, not even in Rivers State. In this regard, other zones have been smarter than Igbos in not investing outside their ancestral homelands so heavily. If Nigerians are human beings with any form of human intellect, the word - war should not appear on the lips of any Nigerian discussing about possible disintegration of Nigeria. There is no iota of unity and patriotism among Nigerians. For the past 50 years, Nigeria still appear as a free-floating device with no anchor. Were Nigerians forbidden from their investments in Ghana when Nigeria got independence? If the nation states were to stand after the disintegration of Nigeria, seizure of investments that belong to other nationals will be a diplomatic landmine. |
