He's not bound to pay you since you have no agreement (employment letter) with him to that effect. You can either continue your voluntary work (since you don't want to remain idle) or leave the job and get something to do. I believe there's a lot of jobs available even if it's picking cans and selling or helping out at a construction site.

Hello house. Pls I need advice or help.
1. I want to give birth in Canada. That's my main and real purpose of going and I'm not really to lie or say otherwise at the embassy . I'm about 3 months pregnant now.
2. I have like 1.5 million naira in my account. Although, I intend using husband's account of 500k as support. I will be applying alone.
3. I am a federal civil servant with 83k monthly salary. But I have like 20k been
deducted every month from the source, that is before the salary hit my bank account, the 20k will have been deducted. But I have all d break down on my pay slip.
4. I have a land to my name and a car document that carries my name.
5. My international passport still carries my maiden name, got married this year. my passport will expire Nov 2016. Do I need to make a new passport with my married name? I have my marriage certificate, change of name in news paper, wedding pictures and every other thing that shows I'm truly married.
6. Lastly, I have never travel out of Nigeria before.
Pls experts on the house, what are my chances of getting tourist /medical visa to Canada ?
My dear, if the highlighted sums is what you have, I don't think you can afford it. There are very good hospitals in Abuja that you can give birth with less than 500k if the quality of the service is what you are after. If you are after citizenship that's a different matter. If there's a complication you may spend more than what you normally should have spent which could wipe off your savings and probably leave you in debt. I don't see the visa officer approving your application based on the details you gave.

Nor be only brush your teeth. You should be ashemed of Buhari. Buhari who you people described as flaming sword is on daily basis disgracing every Nigerian. This country is the most popular in Africa, yet you people voted for one of the most dullest and dumbest. A man who could not pronounce the name of his vc correctly and asking other to interprete his English to English. Tufiakwa

Who are you defending? You nor get blood like Buhari? What Buhari has done Nigerians is worldwide embarrassment . I go military school in UK, I attended different military trainings all over the world yet Buhari is the greatest disgrace to the entire country. Dunce.
What is wrong in having an accent? Everybody, including you, has an accent. And the reason for the on screen text was due to the poor audio quality and not because of his accent.
And you'd do well to brush up your English.

Imagine the President of Nigeria, Africa's most populated country, Africa's biggest economy now needs English interpreter to interpret his spoken English language.
What is Buhari's English? Did you mean to say Buhari's speech?
Politics › Re: TV Stations Translate Buhari’s English To English. PICTURE. by dustydee: 8:12am On Jul 16, 2015
I listened to it and the audio quality was very poor that you could hardly make out what he was saying hence the translation. I bet if the OP speaks English in some other country, it will be translated to text for viewers.
At least he speaks better English than a lot of people here.

Politics › Re: Senate: Fresh Crisis Looms As APC, PDP Enjoy Equal C’ttees by dustydee: 2:33pm On Jul 14, 2015
Misleading headline. There's no indication that the APC and PDP will have equal number of committee heads. It is fair for each state to have at least one committee chairman but of what benefit is this to the state? I thought the committees are there to serve the entire nation by discharging their duties effectively and efficiently? I guess it boils down to naira and kobo. By the way, who makes these standing rules.

On what ground did the National Industrial Court gave in to the prayers of the 22 APC rascals? This is a rape to democracy and a big setback to Nigeria's democratic struggle. RVSG must appeal this sham of a judgement!
How can a Judge reinstate rascals that [s]were "selected" by some guy from[/s] Lion of Ubima without the input of Riverians? How can something be legitimate when the RSIEC extant law was abused? How can the LG poll be legitimate when there was a court injunction and there wasn't INEC voters register? This is sad...

Simple arithmetics.
CBN stopped selling forex to the highest forex consumers, including cement & rice importers. Meaning a decline of over 50% in forex sales for CBN & a sharp rise in foreign reserve.
The bad side is that those banned will resort to black market & an attendant sharp rise in parallel market price. N240 - $1 and still rising.
Could it also be due to the drop in oil imports? The imaginary 40 million litres per day (subsidy fraud) consumption must have reduced meaning we only import what we consume.
