From experience, any employer asking potential employees to pay a certain amount of money as a criterion for employment has a fraudulent agenda. The whole setup looks fishy. It might be one of these GNLD-like arrangements. If i were in your shoes, i will not bother with the process. |
Olalan:My dear, you just said it all. |
A lot of Nigerian girls out there are hungry. Only on first date, you want a guy to spend 12k. Meaning when the relationship is established, the poor man will be spending his entire salary. Too bad. |
Fake hair, fake eyebrow, fake eyelashes, fake skin colour/tone, fake facial features...in fact almost everything is fake. Insecurity issues. |
From certain explanations you made about your relationship, it seems you are the kind of man that goes out of your way to impress your girl no matter the odds. That is a good trait however, there should be some set limits. First off, allowing her to drive in the euphoria of celebration was clearly wrong. It was a silly error that would have cost a life. Never ever try to please someone when the odds are definitely stacked against you. You will be at the losing end. Secondly, the part where you mentioned that she hardly apologises for her wrongs unless it comes from her heart. Apologies are supposed to come from the heart. It is a sincere indication that there is a true desire to change. Maybe she was so traumatized from the whole incident that she couldn't speak. But if till now she has not addressed the issue, knowing that if she had not made that request to take the steering wheel, the accident might not have occurred in the first place, then I think you really need to sit down and analyze the relationship. No man or woman wants to be in a relationship with an unremorseful person. Do not let love dull your senses and affect your choices because that same girl might interprete your calmness for weakness. My opinion though. |
My guy, simply block her on Facebook simple. Personally, it's not everyone that slides into my page that I accept their requests. Some people are just trouble seekers |
My own no just good at all |
It is indeed the Pacu fish. It has the nickname "the ball cutter". See link below for more information about it. Note: the pictures in there are kind of creepy so viewers discretion is advised. https://www.google.com.ng/search?q=pacu+fish&dcr=0&prmd=ivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjivc6btPPZAhXCDcAKHUG-AvoQ_AUIESgB&biw=600&bih=1024#imgrc=VDHDC2sCWn-nRM: |
Both husband and wife are a typical example of what goes on in the society. They are having difficulties in providing the desired education for their already existing children yet they are bringing in more. To think that this is just nursery and primary schools stage. By the time these children get to the university nko? Will they go and also fight with the registrar? Children are blessings from God but it is not wise if you cannot adequately cater for them, to bring them into this world. Besides no be by force to attend private school. |
The way some people be carrying relationship on their heads sometimes baffles me. Vandalizing another person's property because you caught him cheating? Is the relationship a million dollar contract? If you can't cheat back at him, walk away. No doubt, the girl will be at the losing end if the law becomes involved. |
For example, if I start banging from 12 midnight, I will stop at 4am abi? 4 good hours? So who dey travel from Benin to Lagos go don reach and I still dey on top woman? Na cassava plot I dey clear? |
DrinkLimca:Look, one can never fully understand the way a woman is wired. I agree men should control their sexual urges but the question is why would the same woman, perhaps my girlfriend who is supposed to know my strengths and weakness, decided to be the tool for temptation by going around butt naked? Would you as a guy move around in your girl's place unclad? Personally, I feel many girls are not doing themselves any favours by flaunting their unclothedness. Their style of dressing leaves little to the imagination. A case in point was that NYSC member that placed her breast online yesterday for the world to see. What was her aim? For 'likes' and 'shares'? I strongly feel that it's a two-way issue. Men control your urges; women modesty and decency are paramount. Both parties should meet at a point. |

Please moderator, change that name to monitor lizard and not alligator. |
Buhari abeg just shut up! |
Stealing, looting and fraud in both private and public sectors in Nigeria. It's as if everyone goes into government either to steal or serve as a conduit for stealing. |

CAPSLOCKED:My brother, if you cannot contribute intelligently to the discussion I suggest you kiss a millipede. Coming on here ranting like you forgot your medication. Anu ofia! |
It's long been known that there were some errors in the translation of the Bible from ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek to the English language. So for the Pope to mention it, it is indeed a welcomed development |
My dear brother, the most candid suggestion i can give at this point is this: Nigeria is presently not the same country you left 8 years ago. Things have gone from bad to 'very worst' (i mean that literally). Corruption is the order of the day here. The unemployment rate is alarmingly high. Even those who are employed, many of them are not sure of this month's salary because many corporations and organizations are folding up. Infra-structurally, Nigeria is on the decline. Try visiting during the rainy season and see the real Nigeria - there are no good roads, electricity is almost a pipe dream. You literally pay for darkness not electricity. If you have children in the university then be prepared to see them at home more often than you should. If the lecturers are not going on strike as a result of a face-off with the government, the students are demonstrating due to either arbitrary increase in tuition fees or poor learning conditions. The health sector is no better. It is either resident doctors are on strike or junior health workers are protesting. the list is endless Then there are other vices like boko haram insurgency (just in case you are drawn to the north eastern parts of the country), kidnappings and cult-related activities down south and then police harassment. I won't dwell much on this. Just search for #endsarsnow campaign on twitter and read about the encounters of Nigerians in the hands of these law enforcers and then make your take. Almost all Nigerians are angry with the government and the system. Almost nothing works. So, the bottom line is, if I were in your shoes, I would rather research on a good business i would invest in Nigeria, than coming to live here. Presently, it seems the system is fashioned to make one fail. For the love of God, a greater percentage of Nigerians want to leave the country. Not that there is no level of success here, but my dear I guarantee you that with your high level of expectation for Nigeria, you will be disappointed if you relocated to Nigeria. So please, think thoroughly before you make the choice. In fact, I suggest you pay a visit ( if possible) and see things for yourself. |
