I've been in a great state of sadness for Nigeria since the fruit of this Tinubu decision started to take hold, from Lagos state, now fully across Nigeria. Tinubu KILLED education in Nigeria by this singular stroke. I will never forgive the SMALL MAN (both literally and figuratively).

Today education at its most important level is now a business and an extension of your religious sessions.

I attended a school founded for Muslims in Lagos that Obasanjo's government made a government school as it did for all schools in Nigeria in 1976. The schools were well provided for, even under Babangida's disastrous reign. Three of my 5 years there at least, it was Christians, Southern minority students that were both best students in WASC and senior prefects, because ONLY merit mattered.

This singular act of reversal in just one state has destroyed the future of this country by maybe 50 to 100 years.

I don't give a damn about who is running for which office. I'm disgusted by Yoruba delusion of their worth, BUT Tinubu is no Awolowo. The crook is just too small. May GOD continue to bless Obasanjo for his efforts in this ungovernable country and people. I am HAPPY he's the ONLY Nigerian ever to get power against the wish of his ethnic kinsmen.

Please note that items are in IBADAN and if you want to buy anything, you would have to:

3. Make the payment and I will waybill item to you, subject to your payment of courier charges

Please do not pose as a serious buyer and be asking how you will get it, and when I tell you, you baulk (because you already know the only one way you want). I have sold items several hundred thousand to people all over Nigeria by the aforementioned methods.

As you claim to be afraid of people defrauding you, so also am I. I'm not selling a single item; I'm a dealer with a lot of presence on the internet. It is far more likely a so-called buyer is the one who would frustrate or defraud a seller. Stories abound on the internet. I can not count how many times it has happened to me. That's why I left Jiji.

But I have Samsung Galaxy S7 for ₦35,000. USA used. Isn't that a good enough phone?

This is the reason for my thread. Where is the alternative? I mentioned Fatcat that I tried with no success. No regrets because I only lost ₦4,000 compared to Jiji ₦18,000 and though no one bought anything from me, no one contacted me to insult and frustrate me either as is the normal case on Jiji, with no purchases either.

We need to see it there's a viable alternative in the Jiji mold as there used to be (Tradestable, Olx, etc). It's not enough to declare people will leave Jiji. I have already left; where do we go? It's not where sellers can go, but where sellers AND BUYERS will go and meet up. For now, Jiji still seems to be the monopoly

This is the same mindset transporters in Nigeria use.
Fuel price goes up by ₦10 or ₦20,they automatically increase transport fares by ₦100-₦200,not minding they carry 10-50 passengers per bus.

Why are you insisting on Kaduna state? I can be sure you're not into photography or looking for best deals on cars; you would have been used to the Waybill system.

Thanks for responding. I still would like to know how much similar operations might cost because I have a number of phones locked to SIM. In Blackberry days, I remember I used to pay 500 naira and I even bought Torch that was locked and the seller just gave it to one guy there at CV and he unlocked it. Now, when I began bringing these things in, I had this Motorola G7 Power that was also T-Mobile locked and when I visited Lagos and went to CV, the technician seemed to be playing games and calling big money. Such never happened before. I'm now using the phone as my permanent phone via wifi and I'm typing on it right now. I have AT&T and other network-locked phones that are just pending resolution, too cheap to spend any real money on. Thanks
