You're asking this question and you're already trying to do the job on other people's phones. GOD BE YOUR STRENGTH. Good luck |
Auskyd:Thank you. I've a number of phones with that issue but I'm not motivated to spend yet because people aren't buying the ones that are already working and in the market |
Please house, what would it cost me to remove Google frp lock from Galaxy S5 and higher in the series |
IMO01:Time was when I was looking for that for Instagram; now I can't afford it. On Jiji, yea, I would like to have a big office with many staff, but I can't afford it, so I live according to my means. I can see that's a very big challenge for most Nigerians |
Dandeson1:my number is actually on my profile now. Coincidentally I did that only today, before your message. You can Instagram DM me or chat to me on whatsapp business. Thanks |
Dandeson1:Because we can talk here. People abuse phone numbers. I much prefer messaging for initial contacts |
Dandeson1:Yes. Location is Ibadan. Price is ₦35,000 firm |

This is the reason for my thread. Where is the alternative? I mentioned Fatcat that I tried with no success. No regrets because I only lost ₦4,000 compared to Jiji ₦18,000 and though no one bought anything from me, no one contacted me to insult and frustrate me either as is the normal case on Jiji, with no purchases either. We need to see it there's a viable alternative in the Jiji mold as there used to be (Tradestable, Olx, etc). It's not enough to declare people will leave Jiji. I have already left; where do we go? It's not where sellers can go, but where sellers AND BUYERS will go and meet up. For now, Jiji still seems to be the monopoly |
See this incredible mumu. So, your indoctrination of children with damaging religious dogma is the right thing? The world already knows all religion is factually fake. It's only in places that have no plans to make progress and are being subsidized by the progressive nations that can't figure it out yet. Religion and ethnicity are THE TWO REASONS Nigeria remains a failed state. This is why I say there's no hope for this country; you must complete your 500 years in darkness before you force yourself to figure out why you're a failed people. I repeat here what I've always said: democracy is THE WRONG SYSTEM for backward societies. It ensures the dumb masses continue to remain dumb by putting those who agree with them in power |
seborrhic:Never forget this: the Nigerian mind is black, and they're in constant search for a reason to show it. I'm not welcome anywhere in this country because I know this fact, smd I've known it 3 decades now. Government is bad because it is manned by Nigerians. I've tried my best not to comment on this country (which has been my life for 30 years, and I've paid a heavy price for it) but I keep slipping

Lol. Kai, but come to think of it: I don really suffer for this life when I come. It's a pity |
kennyldelsu:Have you clicked on the link to see the picture of the item? |
Samsung Galaxy S7 32gb fully functional. Condition is as shown in pictures. Price is ₦45000 Guaranteed no Nigerian SIM inside
|
I repeat that the prices of my items are fixed. Anyone who asks me to sell my items at prices to wreck my life will have what they wish for me happen upon their own head. These are merchandise, not items I'm decluttering after personal use. |
Kunja2:I have two and they both have some crack on glass. All from USA. I'm selling less than 60k each. Look at my link two posts above. I think they sell the foreign used ones with perfect condition for around 70k and up. My location is Ibadan |
Gretcodez:Why are you insisting on Kaduna state? I can be sure you're not into photography or looking for best deals on cars; you would have been used to the Waybill system. I've sold photography gear to someone in Kaduna state -- total 450k from here in Ibadan. Sold items to people all over Nigeria, same way. I have two Google Pixel 3 from USA for good price because they have cosmetic blemishes. You just go to Mando park and collect. Check out my items here. I've not added everything yet: https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-import-phones-sale-varying#115435029 |
samuelthaking:Did you think I would sell a SIM along with a phone? I have a 6s, password locked, not clean at all, but it is not SIM locked. As is condition, 30k |
Bentizil:I don't know what "transsion" means but I gave a number of used phones from USA in different conditions for mostly under 70k here: https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-import-phones-sale-varying#115230701 |
Maybe you're better off with another copy. I have a working one for 40k on my thread with 2 black dots. I have another one I can reduce to a display only (with gold colour frame) but I will be selling that for at least 25k. Worse, I'm in Ibadan Look at the complete one on my thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-import-phones-sale-varying#115230701 |
Auskyd:Thanks for responding. I still would like to know how much similar operations might cost because I have a number of phones locked to SIM. In Blackberry days, I remember I used to pay 500 naira and I even bought Torch that was locked and the seller just gave it to one guy there at CV and he unlocked it. Now, when I began bringing these things in, I had this Motorola G7 Power that was also T-Mobile locked and when I visited Lagos and went to CV, the technician seemed to be playing games and calling big money. Such never happened before. I'm now using the phone as my permanent phone via wifi and I'm typing on it right now. I have AT&T and other network-locked phones that are just pending resolution, too cheap to spend any real money on. Thanks |
Toma2:Hello, please how much to unlock a T Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge? (USA spec if it's relevant). Thanks |

Auskyd:Haha. You don't know Nigerian brain. Most insurance in Nigeria exist by having corporate clients. On nairaland here not so long ago, there was this Nigerian that was asking for how to destroy his phone so insurance would give him another one because insurance refused to pay for wear-and-tear fault the phone developed. Insurance plucks money from thin air. I'm not on nairaland on this account to talk about the people in this country, but I'm just sorry. Our minds still have several centuries to develop to merit the physical comforts we're longing for that we see in developed countries |

Brainmytool:Trust me when I tell you this: it's always about individuals and sadly, Nigeria is a country full to the brim of criminally minded, dishonest-by-nature people. I have been on jiji since they started and the above people have frustrated my life to the extent I've left the site. During my time there, I have collected transfer from people that don't know me, and shipped item to them -- no issues. Only once have I ever sent something to someone I knew (in Kaduna) for buyer to go inspect b4 payment. It was a deal of 450,000 and I was desperate to remove that item from my life, after 2 years (still sold at a loss). As I said, the problem is the bad heart most Nigerians have that they've used to kill their country. There have been times people claim they want to buy something and set up a desperate seller to come to them and they rob him. Almost happened to me too. Before leaving the site, I never took any item to any buyer, even if I already sold something to them. Everyone who wants to buy something from me must come to me and do the deal or send money as I said. I don't even like that. I want them to physically come or send someone to physically inspect and confirm before paying so I won't hear any stories. I know I've lost a couple deals from that but hey, I'm still alive to write this, and I'm not bankrupt. No one with a special title of "buyer" or "seller" is safe in this country because the most important thing is the criminal mindedness of our people. I have phones to sell, but I don't do those Techno stuff; my phones are international brands I import from USA, not always clean but you have rest if mind a previous Nigerian has not committed any crime with it (imei can be traced) |
Goalnaldo:I opened a thread featuring the phones I have for sale. This is the thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-import-phones-sale-varying#115252262 I have Pixel 3 64gb (two) with some imperfections and I'm selling for 60k and less. I haven't put those up on the thread yet but anyone interested can ask me on the above thread |
Zinpat:my phones have never been used in Nigeria. (No Nigerian sim, 100% rest of mind). I have a number of phones below 60k. This is the thread I started. There are many more phones I'm yet to add. https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-import-phones-sale-varying#115252262 |

Apple iPhone 7 32gb. Was in perfect cosmetic condition until I got clumsy and let it drop. Has a slight hairline crack across the middle and one visible on the top edge, away from the display. Battery health is 100% but phone always stays warm. Screen can last over 4 or 5 hours on, but battery continues to drain even if you turn off screen. Seems to normalize if in airplane mode though. Price is now ₦45,000 to clear
