Hello there. I want to use this thread I'm creating to list my phones and low level tablets for sale one by one. I will post as time allows. They're guaranteed to never have had any Nigerian SIM in them besides my own, so you can have rest of mind that no one will suddenly appear on your door for you to explain the phone you just bought from somebody (trust me, there are real incidences All prices here are LAST PRICE Please note that items are in IBADAN and if you want to buy anything, you would have to: 1. Come to item location to get it, or 2. Ask anyone you know here to purchase and send to you, or 3. Make the payment and I will waybill item to you, subject to your payment of courier charges Please do not pose as a serious buyer and be asking how you will get it, and when I tell you, you baulk (because you already know the only one way you want). I have sold items several hundred thousand to people all over Nigeria by the aforementioned methods. |
Demolala09:That price is a reduced price and fixed, even before naira committed suicide last week. You can drop me an Instagram msg at "dwightsshop" where it is advertised. I don't know if I'm allowed to drop whatsapp number here because I no want ban or any kind of trouble |
Auskyd:A real direct help would be to place a link here directly |
That budget of ₦120k is not particularly adequate for a top of the range phone. It's less than $200 and all latest top range phones from the major manufacturers are almost $1,000 or even more than $1000 new and well over $300 used. My Galaxy S9+ still sells for over ₦100,000 but mine is discounted to 75k because it's not in perfect cosmetic condition and I'm in need of the cash. Na wa for naija |
noblefarm:I have foreign used S8+ and S9+ each of which is under 80k. Small screen issues on both |
Pls o, in a newcomer. I want to post my items as others I'm seeing here, but I'm seeing a warning not to post adverts to avoid being banned. How is it done oooo |
Everybody has a reason for their price. The market will determine and reality will set in. I'm facing same issues with my cameras too, as devaluation has wiped out the profits and yet no buyers |
Proper Nigerian role model. This is supposed to be my biz account and I'm supposed to have retired from Nigeria issues, because NO HOPE, SAVE YOURSELF; but I seem to always fail. |
christianjoy:The person who only wants one thing will state it faster than the one who has dozens of things |
Haynnie:Physically in Ibadan right now but I ship items all around the country. Continue on whatsapp business 0812 693 2633 |
Phone dey yakata. What is your own compromise? I have many sim locked and password locked phones |
I have S8 with oyibo Samsung account on it (does not affect function) for 60k. I have S8 Plus in excellent working condition and small black dot and minor hairline glass crack at the edge for 70k
|
graced21:I have Pixel 3 64gb with cracks on edges of screen for ₦55,000 last price. It's USA import.
|
Rechargeam247:In a million years you cannot compare a phone to a dedicated camera. I am a tech man. I sell both cameras and phones. How much is your most expensive phone? $2,000? There are camera lenses alone (not the camera body) that are over $10,000. If you want to do multimedia, contact me for a suitable camera. You can also buy phones from me for your casual video/snapshots. 99% of ordinary people don't know much anyway, so you're covered. |
Haynnie:₦50,000 last price. 6s 128gb |
You are a longer throat. |

My involvement in online business started before the internet was freely available; in South Africa twenty years ago I used to look through an advert-only newspaper that they used to give out for free, and from there I made several purchases. I might have opened the first such business in Nigeria but as always, I was too ahead of my time and got no support. Moreover I was quite engaged in the job that took me to South Africa for training. Till this day I am still engaged in online trade, buying online from abroad and selling in Nigeria. There used to be Tradestable, and then Jiji and later OLX which seemed to be the best until it magically vanished and we hear it was swallowed up by jiji. There was yet one called Olist but that is the one from which somebody swindled me of ₦84,000 by false transfer; I don't know if it still exists. Long story short, as it stands now it seems Jiji is now a monopoly and have become fat and lazy and greedy. No one can ever hope to sell any small item without paying them and small businesses like ours gave to cough up a minimum ₦18,000 whether we sell anything or not. There were 2 months last year I paid (then 15k) without selling a thing, when I had over 70 items on offer. My experience with them is now totally catastrophic. There was this one Fatcat that just stole my ₦4,000 subscription in exchange for constantly giving me annoying emails that 1 million people have viewed my adverts without me hearing from any. Are there any alternatives to Jiji? It is WE the sellers that can create an alternative and boost competition. Can't we take our advert monies elsewhere and deliberately defund Jiji and cut them to size? The likes of Jumia and Konga say it is brand new items they want. Please SELLERS, share your experiences. I don't wish buyers to participate because they are the problem: they're looking for free items and will never accept an item is beyond their reach; instead they believe they will use "sense" to get it from seller (I must price it by force) and they NEVER read advert and comply in this Nigeria. If you are steadfast in your procedure, they rush to where Jiji has given them to leave a Feedback, destroying your name and others just follow the first person's lead. As I said in the beginning, I have more experience in online commerce than almost anyone participating in Nigeria. Let us come together and do something. For me, after my 18k is exhausted, I'm moving on from Jiji to Facebook general marketplace, pending when I'm able to find someone to do my Instagram and Facebook page promotion. My merchandise is worth a few million and is primarily in hi-tech gadgets like phones and photographic equipment -- just so you get an idea the level of my involvement. How is it with the rest of you? Serious matter |
Salarys:My own case is different. I WANT NIPOST. Before this pandemic, items arrive my local post office in Ibadan 10 - 20 days after shipment. Now, from the very first day I heard of Speedaf, it has been a nightmare. They finally did their worst with my shipment which was in transit during the Christmas season. The witch RETURNED my items out of spite after I told them on phone I was not presently in Ibadan. I changed my mailing address to the same post office I've been using long before now, which is less than 500m meters from their Speedaf office at UI area, so I wouldn't have to deal with Speedaf. They REFUSED to send my items there, after doing it once, and preferred to send it 9,000km back to China because "did not talk to her well". I was trying to weigh my course of action but when I got to nairaland here and read up, I realised they are a bigger company than those AWFUL Ibadan workers and that I could file a complaint to authorities further up. I would like someone to please help me understand what to do about it, rather than seeking redress from a more expensive police/judiciary standpoint. |
franciskaine:You are all failures in this country. For so long as Nigerians still see fate of a country as the work of the President, even when they now for the past 20some odd years have been the ones who put all the people in their positions of authority, so also will this country continue to die. The population of mouths we birth everyday in this country is rising, the only resource from this country is rapidly losing value, while even drying up gradually, una neva ready. Keep talking single human beings who themselves are a product of your failed values and mindset in this country, while each Nigerian continues unabated to be destroying this country in the place they gave him his own chance. I ran away from my account I use to say all this because Nigerians are DETERMINED TO DIE FROM BEING STONE DEAF and I use this account to struggle to eke out a living, but I JUST CAN'T HELP COMMENTING ON THIS. Every one of you is the reason this country is dead, in your actions daily, including whom you vote for. Shit |
Straight to the point, how do I get my page advertised, aka "sponsored" on Instagram? On Facebook also, they show you how but they never accept my payment. How can I solve all this, in order to be free from Jiji and Facebook groups with their nonsensical members. Thanks |
Hi there. I used to be a regular client last decade. I've been off for a while and I thought your biz no longer functions. I need answers to the following: 1. Is Elena no longer with you? Her whatsapp is gone 2. Can you deliver an item to Ibadan, rather than Lagos? 3. What is your conversion rate and what are your logistics charges currently? Thanks |
Another post?! Don't worry. You don't be able to follow through with any of these. You will come up with the best business idea by yourself when 2 million remain inside the money. I no longer bother myself with these kinds of posts in Nigeria |
Joshmodest:Nigeria does not exist when people are talking international business and trade. We're for used items or charity handouts aka "aid" |
Is there any retailing you can do in this Nigeria without ultimately meeting the buyer for the transaction? What I've come to realise is people like to do what everyone else is already doing and prospects are low. You need to have a lot more money or skill. Most people don't have any skill they can monetise. We were importing from China before this whole horde and with small monies like this, the business never saw the light of day. Location too. If you're in Lagos or other major cities, consider contacting me privately; I've been looking for people to advertise my merchandise as it were theirs and if they find a buyer, they can then buy item from me and sell. I understand they have a name for it. These are expensive items and specialized (not a daily need for everybody) |
Is there any bank now that allows above 100usd ?
Yes, but you will pay the black market rate. I used Access and was charged ₦459 or so |
Where is this news coming from? Where is the source? Do these people want to kill us completely now, after months in hell? Do they realise some of us depend on this for our livelihood? |
Krucifax:God! I can't even believe you're Nigerian. Well written and serious contribution. I expect this in the foreign forums I participate in; hardly see such in Nigerian clime. Or are you a northerner? That could explain it |
