I'm in Ibadan but I'm thinking of getting a bale of men's clothing but I don't know hue much they go for here. I saw a thread where they said I can get for 70k grade AAA London used in Lagos |
HomoSapiien:I have a shop with some furnishing in Agbowo area that I'm giving up. Anyone wants to do business in a shop can contact me to transfer ownership. 09097268834 |
Hello all. This is a pitch: I spent the last 22 years learning how to properly pronounce English words from the Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary and how to better improve oral English communication. I perfected it in the United Kingdom. I offer that skill in either a one-on-one setting, or a class setting with a group of learners. Improve your life today by speaking English clearly and with finesse. This training is best for kids just starting out in life. Older people can learn also but it is always much harder to have permanent results. I did learn in my 20s so if you put your mind to it, you can still achieve noticeable results. I charge 2000 naira per hour. Price quoted is per hour charge; the more the participants, the less each person pays (Max 10 people). The goal is not to sound phoney like so many poorly-trained or untrained people who give us a bad name, but to sound how your very Nigerian forbears sounded in the '60s and earlier. You may need to go to Youtube and listen to Nigerians - in Nigeria - in the pre-Independence and immediate post-Independence period. Nigeria is regressing in all aspects and especially in how we speak English and it is being carried on by emotional blackmail of those of us who have put in the effort to sound as correctly as we used to sound in this same country. Listen today to Olu Jacobs, Keppy Ekpeyong-Bassey, Soyinka, Onyeka Onwenu and you'll get an idea the proper way a Nigerian should speak English words. Reach me on Dwightventures@gmail.com for further information |
desiji:Nice, quick response. But I've observed you seem in a hurry to foreclose anything new. Always keep your options open so you have something to fall back on if things don't go as you perfectly planned it. Just saying |
desiji:Congratulations on your project. I have been an engineer for almost 20 years and I used to live abroad myself and got acquainted with a whole host of technological innovations. I can contribute to your dream home in the area of the alternative energy you plan to explore i.e solar/inverter installation and inspection. Also it is possible if you can afford it, to add lots of security features and automatic access control features to your home. You could bring them from your base and we would install them professionally or we could do everything ourselves. Note that many of these electrical jobs require some calculations and testing and fitting equipments which these bargain artisans would never want to buy. Fires do come from the kitchen, but as Kate Henshaw came to learn, they can come from an air-conditioner wired with the wrong gauge wire and cheap sockets by illiterate artisans. You can send a mail to dwightventures@gmail.com to get the full brochure of the devices and services I offer. I'm presently looking to build a client base and I don't know many people so it would be great if I did a great job for you and get introduced to other individuals, companies and governments. I am presently based in Ibadan but I am a Lagosian. |
This was bought and sent to me from the UK. It has a fault of not accepting an SD card and it requires a change of the main (first) board inside when you open it up. The camera's body is as good as new. The lens is pretty-much brand new. I don't know how the previous owner managed to damage the SD card slot on the main board. This camera has a sensor that beats cameras worth hundreds of thousands like Canon 7D or 5D Mark II. The board may cost something over 20,000 naira and I am selling the camera for 60,000 naira or nearest offer (ONO). Note that lenses alone cost a lot these days and I can sell the body only for 35,000. The full camera in the market today costs almost 150,000 naira and forex is making it higher everyday. Contact me here for more. I put up pics but they didn't come up. Why? I'm not familiar with this forum's style |
I'm sorry to say our online marketplace for person-to-person exchanges is almost nonexistent. Everybody always seems to want to buy stuff from the biggest, most popular retailer out there. However, I'm desperate enough to come and ask here if I'm missing something. I've tried the now defunct Tradestable, trying Jiji now, and it's frustrating to put in the effort and get no responses, and when you get, you still won't end up with a sale. I have some new items for sale but also some personal items, all of which are electronics and tech stuff like cameras, digital scales, kitchen timers etc etc. I'm trying to make this a source of livelihood and it's not funny at all. Please advise |
nikaShow:You didn't say anything of yourself or area of interest. If it makes sense here, it can then transfer elsewhere. Thx |
Hey all, I've been in the city ti kick-start a tech startup but I'm not finding it funny due to lack of partners and not enough funds to employ people outright. It just makes me wonder how many people are out there too who have some, but not all the ingredients for business success and are looking to have someone else complement them. It will be good for word to spread so that we can be of better use to one-another. For me, I have an office in the Agbowo area of town and I can't stress enough how disastrous that has turned out to be for my business prospects. I am now looking for other outlets for my products and services all over town. I am also looking for people who may have some funds to bring to life the work I have carried out but lack funds to mass-produce for general sale. It is a detailed street map of Ibadan town which people could buy for less than 500 naira apiece. I'm looking to raise about 150-200k for almost a thousand copies of that work to be sold in traffic, at universities and all offices across the town. There are so much more ideas I've worked on and I'm sure other people also have need for such networking. Let it begin! |
So now I've pursued Chrisvicmall up to here.Do not ask me for my username there. Use my e-mail. You've all completely run away from my own job. Sellers are worrying me that they haven't heard from my agent. I have updated my order to Elena as she asked but she has not updated the order on the system. over a week now. If this is how you performed before, I wouldn't be in business with you. What is happening?!!! I'm supposed to sell some of those items for Christmas period and I'm using normal shipping and you've not even collected all of them, let alone shipping them. I hope you're not stalling because of naira value as I've put my money in your account when the exchange rate was still less than 175, yet you're billing me for 178. I'm disappointed this time and I believe there's something going on |
patlead: lets first start with this simple question. was your appointment terminated or did u resign?Pls I would appreciate an advice based on the different scenarios you might have. You've only asked me a question and I have no control who comes on here to read. Thx |
I am a type of person that abhors the typical Nigerian deliberate stress-ridden processes. I used to hold a job where we pay into a pension scheme and we are supposed to be able to take 25% of our contributions after being out of a job for more than 6 months. I have been out of the job now for 4 yrs and when I tried to access my funds from Sigma Pensions my PFA, they bogged me down. Can anyone be of help in this regard? I can't imagine having money somewhere and needing money to survive |
Somebody say sth nau, which kind country be this? I'm sure we like to be wise after the use of the wisdom has passed |
Hello all, we provide video cameras to be attached to your car windscreen or dashboard. It simply records all you're seeing as you drive. If you're falsely accused, it will save you from a potential disaster such as some of us have seen. It can allow the boss know what the driver was doing with their car when they take it out; it will help companies instill discipline in their drivers knowing the oga's eyes and ears are in the car. If you're kidnapped or robbed, it will show the identity of the culprits. It has more value than I am chanced to state here and now. Price is 8,400naira. Pls contact us on 080126932633 or dwightventures@gmail.com |
Sorry I forgot to add a pic. The thing works by measuring your heart rate as you exercise and makes it possible to know if you are improving your fitness as time goes by. It has 2 parts, one is a normal wristwatch while the other is worn around your chest to capture data. When you see marathon runners wearing wristwatch, no be ordinary wristwatch Dem wear O; na this thing (a more expensive one though)

Greatest Importers! (great!) Abeg I need to find resellers for my device amongst you better marketers. I bought it through cvm because it will be quite a good thing for people especially those who exercise. Unfortunately my marketing strategy hasn't sufficed yet and I cannot go out on the road to market it and I don't have anyone to do it on my behalf. Hence I want to resell it here. I have four left and they will be sold as one lot for 20k. I need to raise money for sth else. I also want to sell a tokunbo pro camera Canon 30D with accessories for 50k. I'm in Surulere area of Lagos and can be reached at dwightventures@gmail.com |
Hey fellow Nairaland business ppl, I've decided to put up for sale my Canon DSLR for sale. I found I could not start the photography business I intended to use it for. For 40,000 naira you get the body, additional accessories will attract more. It is fairly used but in excellent condition. My business e-mail is dwightventures@gmail.com and number for texts is 08126932633. Thanks |
I wish to express my profound gratitude for your offer to be of guidance to me and I apologise for the late answer as I only now just opened the thread. I will contact you in due course. Thanks |
Ok thanks. I'll be meeting them next Monday. I don't live in same town though; I have to travel. There are so many other questions I would need to ask as time goes by |
Thanks for the help. I suppose if I were to pin client down on whether he's serious or not I'll prob lose them. Since it is Ibadan, we will go and see. You're sure I can add accommodation, transport, feeding to materials and labour/service cost? I'm scared of looking unrealistic since the unit cost of the item is less than 3,000 naira (they shd need many though) |
Good morning. I am looking for the ogas at the top in contract processes to help me through my baby steps. Firstly, I have an expression of interest from a client outside Lagos for our service which is the installation of our device on their premises. I want to know who bears the initial cost of travel, accommodation, site inspection and all that precede actual contract award. I have a lot more to ask but let's start with this. Thanks to a potential mentor |
Hi everyone! I need your sincere opinion on this: I ordered for a particular tablet on aliexpress but did not pay; on another day after login in, i ordered for the same tablet forgotten that i had earlier place an order for the same tablet but this time i immediately paid for the second order. I later got a mail that my order as been shipped and the seller added that he mistakingly shipped two (2) tablet to me not knowing that i only paid for one. He is now begging me to pay for the second one after i receive my goods. Please note, i never had intention of buying two before. What do you think folks?
How much and what is its make and configuration. We might help make it possible to refund their money but if you want to do a quick business by selling above what's needed to return their money, some of us might not be interested. |
